There are 3 indoor tables, 3 outdoor tables, and a long counter where customers can stand. I ordered one of their special signature drinks, an iced mint cold brew. A look into their pastry case led me to also request a raspberry danish. The single person behind the counter who was taking orders and working as barista was not exactly charming but it was understandable as she was slammed with multiple customers right when I arrived. My order was presented within a couple minutes (she was great at multitasking!) and I sat out on the patio. The iced mint cold brew was refreshing and was like drinking a box of Campfire Girl mints, both chocolatey and minty (sidebar: I am so sad that, as of last year, those mints are no longer made). It essentially was a mocha made with coconut milk and mint syrup; I really liked it. The pastry was rather dry but the raspberry filling was vibrant in flavor and not overly sweet. The vibe is more of a place for hotel guests to have a business meeting or to grab something prior to dashing off to a corporate event rather than just a place to hang out. But it's also a great option if you are near the Irvine Spectrum and just want to stop to quickly get a coffee drink and sit for a short break.

When I showed up 10 minutes after I ordered, hoping it might have been an overestimate, it turns out that I still had to wait about 10 more minutes, so it really did take 20. There were about 5 other people there waiting for drinks, so it was moderately busy but wasn't a huge line. The inside is fairly small and only has a couple seating options, which I think is intentional since most people are going to get to-go drinks in the business park area. I ordered my jasmine tea less sweet and with extra sea salt cream, and it was amazing! They really piled on the cream and it was so rich and delicious, quite a treat! The "less sweet" version was still very sweet, in my opinion. I'm someone who typically drinks black coffee and plain tea, so maybe my taste buds are accustomed to less sugar, but I think it would be nice if they could offer an even lower sugar option like 25%. When I ask for cold brew, I want it to be so strong that when it's poured into a clear cup, the brew is so dark that light does not pass through. After waiting, I finally had to speak up and ask whether my drink was ready. Instead of responding professionally, Christine immediately seemed irritated and gave me an attitude. When the gentleman eventually finished my drink, Christine carelessly tossed it onto the counter without saying a word, rolled her eyes, and walked away. After looking at my drink there was no written note on my cup. My mobile order was supposed to be ready at 5:42 a.m., but I did not receive it until 5:52 a.m. The entire reason I placed a mobile order was to avoid waiting in the drive-thru. During the time I stood there waiting, the drive-thru line was completely cleared out and multiple customers were served before my drink was even made. What makes this experience even more disappointing is that my order was simply a tea. There was nothing complicated about it, yet I was ignored, treated disrespectfully, and forced to wait significantly longer than promised. The lack of customer service, professionalism, and basic courtesy from the staff was unacceptable.
