I came in to redeem my birthday reward and arrived at 6:40pm before they closed at 7pm and while the baked items were already cleared, Aliani was super kind in being willing to give me a list of items that could be retrieved. I had my options of either chocolate croissant , drink of choice or meal of choice. After pondering, i chose a mocha frappachino with cookie sprinkles and boy did Kai do an amazing job! It did not disappoint. Thank you for being soo kind and welcoming. I appreciate the compliments towards my favorite pair of earrings and send you a Mahalo to you and your mom! On Thursday, July 10th, I stopped at the Starbucks located at 30065 Alicia Pkwy Laguna Niguel, CA 92677. My aunt was choking. I asked them to please give me a glass of water, explaining that it was an emergency, a very rude woman told me that it was Starbucks policy not to give water to anyone. I ran to the KFC Kentucky Fried Chicken, they immediately gave me the glass of water, in fact, they told me they could help me by calling 911 or if I needed any other help. First visit here. My wIfe wanted time redeem a birthday free drink offer since she signed up for the app a week ago. She was so excited!! The barista who we will name nameless was uninterested and impatient in helping her, so I took the initiative to call customer service off my app and they spoke with my wife and put the birthday drink bonus on her app for redemption. Nevertheless she wasn't a happy camper. He could have just told her to call customer support to put the bonus in her app. But he either didn't know or didn't care. And we let the customers behind us go ahead of us and stepped aside to deal with this issue. Got myself and my daughter our non coffee drinks and it was uneventful. This location is like gulag and not the best of what Starbucks offers. In the end it is a memorable birthday, but not in a good way. That's a bummer. I like the way this Starbucks is set up. Plenty of seating! I used one of my rewards today. I got a chicken sandwich with double bacon. I saw it on the display. Little did I know I was supposed to grab it from the fridge and had it to the Barrista to get it heated up weird. I thought they would have them in their back fridge. Glad the Barrista was nice to enough to show me where to grab it. It was warmed up. And I got a side of siracha with it. It was good. Can't complain about this pre made sandwich. I've had both very good and very bad experiences here. Overall the experiences have been good and they always seem to have the special/holiday drinks in stock much longer than other stores. My really good experience recently: I stupidly placed a mobile order to the wrong Starbucks. I sent it to the Alicia & Pacific Parkway when I meant to send it to this one: Alicia & Niguel. When the staff realized I was still waiting for the mobile order they asked for my name and let me know that I had sent the order to the wrong store. However, they still made me my order!! GREAT customer service. I called the other Starbucks to let them know about the mistake. My really bad experience: I came in here to redeem my free drink and pick up something to eat. I ordered a venti frappuccino and a breakfast sandwich. I told the cashier that I wanted to redeem a reward which he acknowledged. When he said the total came out to $10 I asked if he had factored in the reward. He said yes, and I asked why the total was $10. Then he told me that it would discount it after I paid. I thought that was a little weird because that's not normally how I've been rung up for redeeming rewards before. However I went with it anyways. The barista who made my drink did such a sloppy job. There was a HUGE amount of whipped cream leaking out over the top and the drink was also dripping out from under the top. It was a mess. He didn't even wipe the cup off at all. I understand that they were busy, but it was honestly a detail that should have been taken care of. I checked my balance on my card when I got home and my reward hadn't been redeemed at all. A very disappointing experience. Overall though, it's a convenient Starbucks. Some of the staff is absolutely incredible with how nice they are and the rest of the staff varies. read more

You really see how hard they work when you go in as regularly as I do and watch them all running around behind the bar with all these people and drinks lined up, they have a system here and it works well. They will charge you .80-.90 cents to put half and half in a tall coffee, is this price gouging, fraud, greed, pocketing the cash? I found out someone for many many months was ringing wrong on the register!!! How many transactions has she over priced customers? So, doing research NO Starbucks charges for the half and half, 2% milk etc in coffee, as you would freely do at the bar where napkins are etc. Upon ordering my coffee I asked why this is the ONLY location in Orange County that charges, and with an attitude she said " That's what we charge, and that's what the button says", wow, she was SO rude, BAD customer service for months with this one, very sad. I called and complained twice now, no answer from the District Manager. Go to another location and be treated with VALUE!!!!!!
