Van Nuys, CA where I meet up with my friends for some chit chat and coffee. the store is quite spacious, with plenty of tables and wall plugs to use. employees are friendly and helpful. restroom is clean and stocked. i have been here for several times and my drinks have always been on point - usually a hot cup of coffee or frappe. every visit has been consistent, which i appreciate. there's plenty of free parking in the back and two entrances, which makes it easy to get in and out. a reliable and comfortable Starbucks to relax or get work done. read more

If you can avoid this Starbucks location then I would highly recommend it. I came to this Starbucks tonight since it was one of the store still open after 9pm. I placed my mobile for my birthday reward so I got the Venti Dragonfruit with light ice. I got my wife her Venti Peach Green Tea with light ice as well. It said my order would be ready in like 10 minutes for dine in pickup. When I arrived to the store a little earlier, the drive thru line was pack and there was no parking in the front so I parked in the back. When I walked to the store, I saw all the chairs were up so that means they were closed inside. I had to get back into my car and get into the drive thru line. For like 10 minutes, the drive thru line did not move. We were just stuck there for whatever reason. So I was finally able to pick up my order 20 minutes after my pickup time since the drive thru was busy. I would not come back to this location. read more

Absolutely ridiculous and a complete rip off. I ordered a tall drink and paid $5.95, only to receive a cup that was about 90% ice. I took around 3 sips and it was gone. There was barely any actual drink in the cup. Charging almost $6 for a cup of ice with a splash of coffee is insulting. Prices keep going up while portions keep shrinking. Did you guys secretly work with Hostess? because this cake pop is absolutely delicious! As soon as I bit into it, I was transported back to the early eighties when my grandfather used to take me and my brothers to the Hostess store! I was there this afternoon to pick up a mobile order that was ready at 12:38pm. I waited until 12:55pm and my order still was ot up. one of the baristas made eye contact with me a few time but NEVER asked if I had a order or my name. I finally went to the counter and waited for the cashier to return. and informed her that I was waiting for my mobile order but not one p[erson acknowledged me so I came to the counter to ask about my order. She then took my name and asked what I ordered, She informed me that they were out of the ingredients for my order and offered to make me an alternative or refund me. I took the alternative drink. I do not understand how people can work in customer service and not even speak to the customers. Your management team needs to be retrained and staff needs training as well. Absolutely HORRIBLE service! How is a customer to know that there drink cannot be made if not asked. read more

They were not open at the opening hour and didn't open the window until 5am and then proceeded to inform us that they had just got fumigated with Absolutely NO NOTICE OF FUMIGATION WHICH IS OUT OF THE HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE THAT ALL PROPERTIES NEED TO FOllow when getting "fumigated". Yuck, we immediately left and will not be returning to this location again. When this Starbucks location first opened several years ago, it was the bomb. I would go almost every morning after my daily workout! Once Covid hit I noticed that the service and quality went down a bit. I am that girl who orders only on the app so that my drink is ready when I head over. No wait time is a plus! Unfortunately, your drink order isn't always made correctly and when you are half way home, who wants to turn around and go back...? Not me!!! I have lost count on how many times my drink was incorrect. So, this girl stopped going to this location. Until the other day. Friendly service and my drink was good. Especially on a wet, rainy day. Plenty of parking in the back lot but not an easy in and out on Sherman Way and Woodman. Plenty of indoor seating with free wifi. No outdoor seating at this location which is a definite downside. Don't know what everyone else is raging about, but I've been going to this Starbucks for years and haven't been burned yet! Drinks are always made correct (super helpful because I have a picky wife with a super specific order), breakfast sandwiches are always good, and all the employees we've interacted with have been nice/courteous. I definitely wouldn't recommend hanging out inside and the drive-thru line gets ridiculous sometimes (going every which way), but apart from that it's a solid Starbuck. read more

Came here on my day off to get an espresso and grind some starbucks beans that my partner gifted to me. I pull out my bag of sumatra from my backpack and ask if they could please grind it on paper filter. The barista began charging me for the beans, I explained that they were gifted to me and was confused as to why he was trying to charge me. He then said that I should "be careful next time" and said he would grind them for me after pestering me for some sort of receipt. He continued giving me an attitude, after which I cancelled my espresso and just asked for the beans back. Trust me, these aren't the highest quality beans, and you don't work at a specialty coffee shop; I don't need to steal these bottom shelf, over-roasted, beans. I only visit starbucks occasionally and it's only really for the service, but it seems we can't even get that nowadays from this dirty corporate chain. Won't come back ever again. This Starbucks isn't the same anymore. Sadly the drinks don't taste good. I always need my iced matcha late on my way to work and this location makes it so horrible. If I order it with light ice all I get is milk and if I order it regular it's tastes like straight up matcha that isn't properly mixed. I went to this Starbucks with my friend and we stayed there for a bit and left after we finished our refreshers. When I settled in to chat some more at a friend's house I then realized that I totally forgot my ring on the table at this Starbucks, I took it off for a second and got distracted. My heart stopped with fear because my mom gave me this ring and I didnt want to lose one again (for I've lost so many from before) and this one is a rather valuable one. I didnt want to break my mom's heart and so I didnt care who was watching me and I prayed out loud for help from God, not for myself (well, maybe a little) but so my mom won't get disappointed while my friend called the coffee house. Alas, my prayer was answered and some awesome soul turned in the ring and so a barista confirmed that they have it. When I went in the store I was confident that IT IS my ring even when my friends were telling me that it could be possible that they have another ring on hand (trying to ready me just in case) but I was confident my prayer was answered and that today, my faith with humanity will win yet another round againts the dark side! Bella, the barista, smiled as she handed me my ring wrapped up in a pastry bag. I thanked her and her staff. I wanted to thank the person who turned it in but they already left and made a promise to write a great review about them for being great, for having such quick service and also for having an immaculately clean store (even the restroom!). The person who turned it in could have easily have walked off with it and sold it for a good sum of money, and the baristas could have easily denied it being turned in and kept it to themselves (divide it up for everyone) but they chose to do good that day for a clumsy, forgetful stranger... THANK YOU. Just showing the ring to show how it could have easily tempted someone to just keep it. But good still triumphed. To which Im eternally grateful! read more

Let me give you an example: what if I was allergic to vanilla and ask for no vanilla syrup in my drink, but turns out that your barista did not read the label.... The quality of the drinks at this location are TRASH . I've gone here many times to get my favorite drinks and every single time it's made soooo bad! I've even turned around for them to "fix" my drink and it's still never right. I've avoided this place for the last few months because I know they're terrible but I went today for a medicine ball - thinking surely they can't mess that up and somehow they still did. the drinks are like watery & tasteless, it's so weird!
