What the heck is going on here?? We are avid Starbucks customers and this store is going down hill!! We've been coming here since it opened and this year our orders are always wrong!! I order my drink almost daily with light foam because I want more drink than foam. Well today I finally had it! Yes it was light foam but a quarter empty! Coast to coast and over seas we've been to many Starbucks and have never been so disappointed in our own towns store! Seriously you have one job and if you don't like what you do then find another job! I know it's hard to find people to work up here but teach your employees how to make the drinks! This is getting worse with wrong orders and the drive-through is NEVER open for one reason or another! Unfortunately the service and efficiency does not much the nice interior of this Starbucks. We ordered two simple drinks (iced coffee) and waited 15 minutes to receive them. The baristas were working on mobile orders instead of the people standing right in front of them. We complained but nothing happened because this Starbucks is run by teenagers. No cold brew for the entire 4 days we were here and the price is at least a dollar more per drink. read more

I asked for a small hot hazelnut flavored latte. When I got to the car and took off the lid, I saw that it was a black coffee with no flavor whatsoever. This Starbucks is much bigger than the average shop. They do have games and books and I'm not sure if they have these set up because you have to wait 30 minutes for your order. I ordered (2) quad shots over ice and a toasted bagel and waited 35 minutes. I could understand if I order something that included a lot of ingredients or topping but this was literally espresso, cup and ice. Ok, I think this is the nicest and largest Starbucks I've ever been at. Perhaps the two story building in Seattle is of course a bit larger but that their "headquarters" location. I was so surprised to see such a beautiful decor and cozy welcoming design in this location. A gas fireplace, plenty of seating areas, leather couches, exposed wood beams, tall celling, and event a meeting room. You get the point. Please stop by and check it out. My pistachio latter was good, and the service was quick. I will be back for sure next time we are in Mammoth. read more

Every time I go, I wait in a very long line, then wait another nearly 25 minutes for them to simply pour me a cold brew after I order (I never get anything else). Really hit or miss! On Tuesday I went in and I was not really awake so you can see where I would forget basic things like telling them the size or vartion of drink details so they are supposed to ask all those questions if you forget to ask and not assume but they put water in my drink and put it down for a granda and told me after I already payed. Not to mention it but she sounded pissed of and sassy . The cake pop was raw which I wasn't pleased with and half of my drink was ice! I was not pleased with the inventory ether becuase they had maybe 3 things out on the show case. The tables were kinda dirty but I don't totally blame that on them. Thursday I came and it was a whole diffrent story. The service was amazing with this one girl and she got my order perfect with the sweetest voice! So sad I couldn't get her name. Stopped in to work the morning here before hitting the slopes, since we were from out of town. The lobby is very large and great for working with plenty of outlets and various seating. The bathrooms are also well maintained as well. Grabbed a peppermint mocha and iced tea and sausage egg cheese English muffin and turkey egg white English muffin. The drinks were great and iced tea refills are $.50. The sausage muffin was fairly good and had a good build. The turkey was very sad and had hardly anything to it. There is a markup at this Starbucks since we're surrounded by resorts. It's a busy location so I ordered my drink and waited 15 mins for my drink. Only should contain steamed apple juice, caramel syrup on top, cinnamon dolce pumps, and possibly whip cream. Didn't take a sip till we were out of Mammoth and only to find no apple juice, caramel, or whip cream and some form of coffee was in the drink the instead. Recently opened Starbucks right behind Shilo Inn in Mammoth. I love this location & can we talk about the interior? It's so clean & aesthetically pleasing. The high ceiling with the unique lighting. The fireplace area with their mid-century modern inspired furniture. Major hip cabin vibes. Lots of seating, multiple community tables & lots of outlets to plug your laptop. The few times I've been here, it's been quiet... perfect for studying & finishing work after a whole day of playing in the mountains & the snow. Drinks are a little inconsistent. Understandable since there were still a few trainees. Workers are friendly. Drinks are done in a timely manner. They have a private conference room you can rent for $80/hour. This location also has a drive thru. Really clean restrooms. read more

A few years ago I went to this Starbucks and thought is was the best Starbucks Ive ever been to. Its huge, busy, customer service was great. So on my way down 395 I thought to stop in and get a coffee and see this place again. Got there at 3:50. There was no one in there, drive thru was closed and there were 2 employees inside. One training the other on a drink for no one. She said she would be right with us.. HA.. we finally got our order and went to use the bathroom, she said they were closed because "we close at 430" I said its only 4, she said well go ahead then. Some skiiers came in to use the bathroom 5 min later and she told then they couldnt use the bathrooms.. This place is an unbeilievable starbucks in which these employees have ruiened the experience. Not only have they permanently(or what would appear as permanently) closed the drive through, they also are no longer taking mobile orders. Drive through has been closed since before winter of 23/24. Mobile ordering has been down for multiple weeks so hopefully this is something that is being fixed and will return. All in all, convenience has become non existent at this location. read more

Probably one of the largest Starbucks in the U.S. Spacious interior, ample seating, friendly staff most of the time. Pretty consistent with their standardized coffee drinks. Now the detour: inconsistent hours, often no access to indoor space due to staffing or other issues, no access to drive-thru from time to time, dirty tables/floors more often than not (most undesirable), and it's getting more expensive to get basic coffee drinks. Unfortunately most Starbucks stores are less than desirable. As a consumer, I can't fix their issues; I simply limit my Starbucks experience to the bare minimum & try to give my business to local small business entrepreneurs. read more

This is pretty much your average Starbucks. They don't have a whole lot in stock, but it's fine. The main issue is that they close so early. I usually don't make it in time for an apres ski hot chocolate or coffee. Really your only choice is to go in the morning before you hit the slopes. read more

Stopped here before our next outdoor adventure. Impressive so huge, and of course very clean. So my kids wanted refreshers, they are out of blackberries . We still ordered refreshers because cashier mentioned they can add more strawberries, we agreed. Oh boy! I received these sorry looking drinks. I asked if they can fix them, the young little blond hair girl looked at me like I was from Mars. This is not typical of the great service I normally received at Starbucks. The absolute worst customer service. Baristas are beyond rude and apparently have never worked in the service industry before. I get it--it's a Starbucks where the majority of the customers are tourists. As the largest coffee chain located in this town, you don't need great customer service to keep customers coming through the door. That being said, the rudeness and unprofessionalism exhibited by the employees here was enough to put me off Starbucks in general. They always shout out a welcome to those walking in, a friendly smile when they are incredibly busy, and the best bathrooms in town. All the employees (at least 6) kept looking at the line, looking at each other, and continuing to do miscellaneous tasks without acknowledging me or helping me.
