I will have to say I am not a fan of the new look of this Starbucks. The barista section and counter seems a whole lot nicer but as for the the seating area it is not. It's not as big and open and inviting as before. It's like one big long connected sitting area that is not so comfy on the tush. I feel like if you were to go to this Starbucks to work on homework you don't really have privacy of really having your own table as before. The staff is always polite and gets orders out as quickly and efficiently as possible. Thank you also for the puppicinos for my dogs!

Nice Starbucks with a courteous staff. This location is clean, convenient, and thankfully not too high energy on the music, which is much appreciated at 5:30 AM.

I'm not a huge Starbucks person, but I do enjoy this location. It is spacious and the customer service is usually pretty good. I have hung out here many times to read a book or to do some work on my laptop. This Starbucks is located at Mesa Riverview near the 202 freeway. They have a nice shaded outside patio area that I enjoy during the cooler months. The mornings are busy here, but I mostly come before closing time when it is a little more quiet. Starbucks coffee will always be so-so to me, but I do appreciate a nice store to do work at that is near home.

Fast and delicious, Great service through the drive thru! I can tell the works are happy with the final products they send out . I would recommend this starbucks !

Was forced to leave store and get free ice right next door. They could've just gave me ice no big deal.

Super disappointed in Starbucks for falling off. how does this multibillion dollar company not give water and ice out for free? you have to be a customer? I've been a customer since forever! we are all customers ! corporate greed and policies are insane to learn about. I could've sworn in Arizona water is illegal to deny even if you are a private company.

This is hands-down our favorite coffee shop in the entire Valley. We go out of our way to come here…read moreevery week, and sometimes multiple times a week because it's just that good. Their espresso is excellent, and I always order a latte with my own custom flavor combination using the syrups they offer. I also love their banana coffee, and their golden milk is fantastic. Honestly, everything we've tried has been great. The food is just as good as the drinks. We especially love the sourdough pizza, and their bagel with cream cheese is excellent. Every sweet treat we've tried has been delicious as well. What really keeps us coming back, though, is the people. The owner and Cali are incredibly kind and welcoming. It's always fun to stop in and chat with them, and they make a point to remember their customers, which makes the experience feel so personal and genuine. Great coffee, great food, and even better people. We absolutely love this place and can't recommend it enough

I understand small businesses needing to stay afloat and make a profit, but for the working class who wants to enjoy a coffee to get through their day, that's a bit much tbh. Would recommend to anyone in the area but it is expensive.

I finally made my way in for the coffee shop! Took me long enough :) Per the other reviews, it's a love it or hate it experience for people. For me, I was happy with my experience there. It's a super cute spot with plenty of seating. I liked the music playing and it was a nice coffee shop vibe-- steady activity yet also chill. Plenty of people were meeting up there and others working on their laptops solo. We were meeting with our realtor and it was a good spot to fill out some paperwork with him and chat. The 2 baristas I interacted with were friendly and answered my questions about menu items. Drinks were made was speedy and bagel came out before burrito. I was told they were making the batch of vegan "steak" so I was given a heads up. All good things. For the drinks, I really liked them. The flavors all worked. The matcha latte was smooth and delicate. Not obnoxiously sweet like some coffee shops. I ordered the hazelnut cookie latte and it was better than I expected, sweet but again not overly sweet. Both with Oatmilk. I knew the Nile was a vegan place, and used to be called Volstead. I'm not vegan but always willing to try out vegan places. I ordered the breakfast sando w/ bagel and the breakfast burrito w/ steak. Both were good but I learned that I don't like the taste or consistency of vegan eggs, so that part I took off the bagel. However the hashbrown, vegan sausage patty and cheese remaining were yummy! Luckily the burrito didn't have the eggs in it and I'm glad it didn't. For me, the burrito needed a salsa or sauce inside. They have Cholula available on the side, but it needed more flavor in the burrito itself. I took the burrito home and reheated in toaster over for lunch, added some green tomatillo/avocado sauce and then it was perfect. I hope this downtown Mesa gem keeps going strong as a small, local place since there are so many Starbucks already no one really needs more of that. I'll definitely be back for music shows on the other side of the building, and now I can add coffee as reasons to stop by during the day.

Some of my favorite coffee in the valley, they use high quality coffee beans that really shines through in every drink- I love how their drinks are usually just subtly sweet and don't overpower the drink. I also love that they make some of their syrups in house, which really elevates the drinks they make. highly recommend the almond croissant if you're able to get one before they sell out, it's truly divine. Ive also tried their chai before, which was well spiced and balanced, the strawberry matcha is a great drink as well. I've also tried their protein slayer shake which was good (except i'm not the biggest fan of vegan protein powder). Looking forward to my next visit!

To be fair, the employee gave me a warning that they use ceremonial matcha which is much stronger and asked me if I wanted to change it out for a more typical matcha powder they use for other drinks. I've had great ceremonial matcha before so I didn't think it would be a problem but for some reason I felt like my drink tasted so odd. I got their spanner matcha which was described to be salted maple flavoring. I'm not sure if it was the matcha or the maple but it had a weird aftertaste that I can seem to describe it other than an expired taste. Because the employee gave me a warning before I would go back and try something else in hopes of a better experience.
