Pulled an official all nighter last night. Football game finished late and got lost in conversation w the hubby in the patio without keeping track of time. End result = no sleep and work time!! Went to NFCU next door and the delightful strong coffee smell inside was enough to wake me up. Baristas were friendly and welcoming and my drink was great!! Got me a blonde roast black w 2 extra shots of "wake me up". The blonde roast is good bc it has a mild enjoyable taste not like the bitter and pungent dark roast. Hope the caffeine power lasts until 10 lol read more

Stopped during a road trip in need of caffeine. Traffic was ridiculous for some reason. Placed my order on the app and headed over. The air conditioner on high was a glorious relief from the 100°heat outside. This location was clean, well kept. I walked in and didn't have to wait long at all. Mobile order was ready in just a few minutes. I ordered a Venti Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew (my favorite) and a Frozen Pineapple Passionfruit Lemonade Refresher. I am so beyond fed up with this Starbucks location. Every single time I place an order on the app and request to line the cup with mocha (which, by the way, I PAY EXTRA FOR), they either completely skip it or barely put any at all. It's not rocket science it's literally one request! When I bring it up to the staff, they act like I'm the problem. One time they straight up threw a new cup at me with so much mocha in it, it was practically a chocolate flood like they were mocking me for asking. Completely unprofessional and childish behavior. Then there's this one guy who works there every time I ask to line the cup, he acts annoyed and puts the tiniest drizzle inside like he's doing me a favor. Why am I even paying extra if you're not going to make the drink how I ordered it? What the actual fuck is going on here? I'm tired of wasting my money and being treated like I'm asking for too much when I just want what I paid for. Do better, Starbucks. This is ridiculous. read more

My husband and I stopped for a snack and hot drink after Christmas shopping this evening at the local Starbuck's and were greeted and served by Olivia, who just sparkled. Olivia was very warm and welcoming though it was somewhat close to closing time. We purchased dinner, dessert and specialty coffees instead of just a snack. Even though this store is small and there is no drive thru, I love the vibe here! All the baristas are so friendly and helpful and they just put out warm, welcoming feelings. Even though it's out of the way, I will always stop here when I'm in the area (or the Target one) depending on which errands I am running. Today I had the honor of standing in front of a customer in line that apparently just had a drink named after her (Susan) and it was so sweet to see how excited she was over all the love and attention she was getting. My usual Starbucks that I go to is on Clinton Keith. I go there A lot!!! However this particular day I was in a different part of Murrieta and I went into this location. One of the Managers, DeSean that recognized me from my regular store noticed me and called me by name!! He explained he was covering for a manager on vacation. What an awesome feeling to not only be recognized in my own store but to receive the same service and acknowledgement in a different store. Most people wouldn't take the time nor would they be that aware but DeSean made me feel special. I am sure his outgoing personality and smile is with him wherever he goes! Hi Iced Caramel Macchiato with extra caramel and two pumps of hazelnut syrup, how are ya? This is a super safe and FANTASTIC drink that I recommend to anyone (the hazelnut syrup is extra because I'm extra like that). This is the worst starbucks I've been to! The baristas here are more focused on thier own conversations than doing thier job in a timely matter. As you can see how long the line is. Good starbucks, friendly. Not sure why most gave 3 stars. Its bigger than most Starbucks, but hidden in the corner of a strip mall. I usually go to the drive thru off Clinton Keith, but this one was nice and cozy. There seems to be a lot of regulars, and the staff was pretty nice and chatty. 4 stars for the service, but -1 for the location. Not the easiest access. read more

My experience at this Starbucks was amazing and that is a direct reflection on the employees working here tonight. Paige, Dustin and Kay should model customer service for the rest of the company. Not only was my experience her amazing, but I sat and watched as I drank my coffee as they helped other customers. These employees welcomed every customer, used their regular's names and made an effort to use the names of every customer. Despite the fact it was consistently busy, the experience was personalized for every customer. Keep up the great customer service. I will be back!! 1/4/19 As I stated above, I came back, this time I had the pleasure of coming in the morning. Same great store, same great staff. All of the customers in the morning formed quite the line but the staff here know their customers/regulars and the line moved very fast. Was driving up from Mexico and was tired as heck so stopped by here to get a little bit more perky. The ladies running the store were fantastic. Beautiful smiles, polite, vibrant, professional, and friendly. Their energy picked me up almost as much as the coffee. First impression was the manger looking at the clock and asking in an annoyed tone how we were doing. She proceed to tell us multiple times that they were closing in 15 minutes. Not a friendly Starbucks and since there are many more in the area we won't be visiting this one again. read more

The vibe in here is so good, lots of natural light coming through the windows, plenty of seating, and just a really cozy relaxed feel you won't find in other coffee shops. The staff were super friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. I got the Iced Matcha Latte with oat milk and the Deviled Egg Toast, and both were so good. Everything got brought right to my table after I ordered at the counter which was nice. The matcha was light and refreshing and the toast was seasoned perfectly, not bland, not too salty, just right. I also have a pretty sensitive stomach and I felt totally fine afterwards which says a lot. They use clean seed oil free ingredients and you can really tell the difference. Oh and they roast their own coffee beans in house and sell bags to take home too which is cool. Honestly just an all around great spot. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the people, it all comes together really well. I'm definitely going back to try more things on the menu!

Drinks were well made, flavors were on point, and everything came out quick. No complaints at all on quality. That said, the overall vibe just wasn't for me. The shop leans heavily into a Christian theme, and when I was there it felt more like a full-on Bible study environment than a casual coffee spot. Totally fine if that's what you're looking for, but it caught me off guard a bit. There was also a group of Incels nearby having a pretty intense conversation around religion and politics that made the atmosphere feel a little uncomfortable and hard to relax in. Bottom line: great product, just not a place I'd hang out in. I'd definitely come back--but I'd order ahead and take it to go next time.

The location in downtown Murrieta is great, the inside is beautiful, and the menu offers a really good variety of coffees, specialty beverages, and food options. I also love that they have a spacious outdoor seating area and games for kids, which is a huge plus for families like ours with two young children. That said, there are a few reasons I can't give it 5 stars. First, the music inside is consistently WAY too loud. It's honestly difficult to have a conversation without practically yelling across the table to hear each other. Because of that, we almost always choose to sit outside when the weather allows. Second, while the outdoor area is a great concept with plenty of seating and kid-friendly games, I really wish the ground wasn't entirely gravel, rocks, and dirt. It makes it uncomfortable for kids to play in, and they end up covered in dust and little rocks in their clothes and shoes every single time. Then it all gets tracked into the car afterward. I think the space would be so much more enjoyable if it were paved or had grass or artificial turf instead. It would make a huge difference not only for children, but also for dogs. We bring ours along often, and the gravel is uncomfortable for their paws and for laying down, so they usually try to squeeze onto our laps instead. Lastly, the rewards program could really use improvement. We come here often, usually ordering at least two drinks plus food, and after many, many visits we still aren't even close to the 100 points needed for just $5 off. It feels like you have to spend a significant amount of money before seeing any real reward, which makes the program feel a little discouraging. Overall, this is still a nice local coffee shop with a lot of potential and many things we genuinely enjoy, but there are definitely a few areas that could be improved to make the experience even better.
