Pulled an official all nighter last night. Football game finished late and got lost in conversation w the hubby in the patio without keeping track of time. End result = no sleep and work time!! Went to NFCU next door and the delightful strong coffee smell inside was enough to wake me up. Baristas were friendly and welcoming and my drink was great!! Got me a blonde roast black w 2 extra shots of "wake me up". The blonde roast is good bc it has a mild enjoyable taste not like the bitter and pungent dark roast. Stopped during a road trip in need of caffeine. Traffic was ridiculous for some reason. Placed my order on the app and headed over. The air conditioner on high was a glorious relief from the 100°heat outside. This location was clean, well kept. I walked in and didn't have to wait long at all. Mobile order was ready in just a few minutes. I ordered a Venti Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew (my favorite) and a Frozen Pineapple Passionfruit Lemonade Refresher. I am so beyond fed up with this Starbucks location. Every single time I place an order on the app and request to line the cup with mocha (which, by the way, I PAY EXTRA FOR), they either completely skip it or barely put any at all. It's not rocket science it's literally one request! When I bring it up to the staff, they act like I'm the problem. One time they straight up threw a new cup at me with so much mocha in it, it was practically a chocolate flood like they were mocking me for asking. Completely unprofessional and childish behavior. Then there's this one guy who works there every time I ask to line the cup, he acts annoyed and puts the tiniest drizzle inside like he's doing me a favor. Why am I even paying extra if you're not going to make the drink how I ordered it? What the actual fuck is going on here? I'm tired of wasting my money and being treated like I'm asking for too much when I just want what I paid for. Do better, Starbucks. This is ridiculous. read more

My husband and I stopped for a snack and hot drink after Christmas shopping this evening at the local Starbuck's and were greeted and served by Olivia, who just sparkled. Olivia was very warm and welcoming though it was somewhat close to closing time. We purchased dinner, dessert and specialty coffees instead of just a snack. Even though this store is small and there is no drive thru, I love the vibe here! All the baristas are so friendly and helpful and they just put out warm, welcoming feelings. Even though it's out of the way, I will always stop here when I'm in the area (or the Target one) depending on which errands I am running. Today I had the honor of standing in front of a customer in line that apparently just had a drink named after her (Susan) and it was so sweet to see how excited she was over all the love and attention she was getting. My usual Starbucks that I go to is on Clinton Keith. I go there A lot!!! However this particular day I was in a different part of Murrieta and I went into this location. One of the Managers, DeSean that recognized me from my regular store noticed me and called me by name!! He explained he was covering for a manager on vacation. What an awesome feeling to not only be recognized in my own store but to receive the same service and acknowledgement in a different store. My experience at this Starbucks was amazing and that is a direct reflection on the employees working here tonight. Paige, Dustin and Kay should model customer service for the rest of the company. Not only was my experience her amazing, but I sat and watched as I drank my coffee as they helped other customers. These employees welcomed every customer, used their regular's names and made an effort to use the names of every customer. Despite the fact it was consistently busy, the experience was personalized for every customer. Keep up the great customer service.
