First impression was the manger looking at the clock and asking in an annoyed tone how we were doing. She proceed to tell us multiple times that they were closing in 15 minutes. Not a friendly Starbucks and since there are many more in the area we won't be visiting this one again. read more

So I go into Starbucks pretty much every day that I work. Usually order a protein box and an unsweetened iced tea and usually I have no issues, just a quick in and out. Today I was a little peeved because it was taking much longer than it should have (I order ahead) to get the protein box. And I was about to b*tch about it until I heard all of the other customers complaining for seemingly no reason, and then I realized I myself was being a dickhead. So here's a good review. I've never worked in a coffee shop, but I've always worked jobs with customer service. They do absolutely everything they need to do to accommodate the customers. I very much appreciate them. Obviously when you order at a time of high volume, you're going have to wait and there's going to be mistakes in the order. But they always offer a new one or something free and they genuinely apologize. So if you're reading this and you're just an entitled a-hole who deserves everything from a f*cling coffee shop then maybe you don't deserve to write reviews. To the older woman barista who sang my name, I appreciate your positive attitude while you took shit from customers. Anyways that's my rant. I just wanted to really applaud the young woman that was working here when I got here. There was like 6 people in front of me and she absolutely killed it in getting their orders in and out. I didn't catch her name because I didn't want to stop her flow because there were people behind me as well, but how clean her work station was, her customer service, poise, and overall demeanor was absolutely great. The worst tasting Starbucks beverages I have ever had were made here. Truly- something is wrong here. The place is cute, the staff are friendly, the location is sunny and well lit and was incredibly convenient to walk to from our hotel BUT the drinks I got were so strong that they tasted like someone had put out cigarettes in them. No joke, I kept asking people in the wedding party (we were in town for a wedding) to try it and tell me if it was right and we all agreed they tasted like dissolved chewing tobacky. I kept taking sips and thing that the next time I looked in the mirror my teeth would be black from the tar taste. Nurst. I'd like to say that I learned my lesson after the first 2 drinks tasted awry but no. I'm the kinda person that likes to learn my lesson the hard way after a repeat visit + I'm a Starbucks preferred gold card member so it's nice to just swipe and go. I did notice that each time I went in there was a girl that appeared to be training, so maybe it was that- but she did have supervision so that's at least 2 people who aren't making Soy Chai Tea Lattes and Iced Shaken Unsweetened Green Teas correctly. If it weren't for this place's uber convenient location across the street from our hotel and next to a Target- I would've never given this place more shots at redemption. And if I weren't too lazy to cross the busy street and too busy with out-of-town wedding schedule stuff I would've marched right back to try and return those caca drinks. read more

Yikes! When did Starbucks start hiring Walmart quality cashiers and baristas with ugly attitudes and messy hair? The chubby girl at the counter this morning at 6:30 had customer service skills that one can only call atrocious and my soy latte was made with either low fat milk or non fat milk. When I ASK for and PAY for soy milk, it's because I am a ill-tempered, gassy, unpleasant bit$h when I drink real milk? So what happens, I get real milk, not soy and I spend my morning farting, running to the bathroom and generally making enemies of everyone in my office. Sound funny right? It was at first but when I finally stopped to buy some GasX my professional career was over...stupid, unprofessional fools, you're lucky I was too far away to come back and make you smell your mistake. read more

I think they could use some more workers tho. People having to wait a long time for their drink because they don't have enough help. My family and I have been regulars ever since they opened here in Cal Oaks. And every staff knows (or at least will get to know) my mom and her custom order; to the point where the baristas would finish my sentence if I forgot her drink or ask "is this for Beth?". I remember one of the barista would never ask for my name and just write "Beth's Daughter." Starla is still there and she definitely knows our orders by heart, so if we felt like changing it up, it would catch her off guard. But she is definitely one of our favorites, because her service is always on point and she never disappoints. I know employees come and go but I do miss some of the old employees who have transferred to other locations. I just feel like the vibe here isn't the same anymore. My mom definitely loves the quick order and pay though, so no more waiting in long lines. read more

I've been to plenty of Starbucks and only a few get less than 3 stars. This location is nice in terms of proximity to my family and being right next to the freeway and big stores, but the employees just aren't very friendly. They often seem annoyed and immature. read more

I am not a fan of writing reviews for awful places. But this Starbucks takes the top prize for horrible customer service. No hello or smiles when you walk in. I asked one of the gals for a fresh container of half & half because it made my coffee taste a bit off. I was told that it was fresh- the container was almost empty. This location shouldn't nickel and dime things. This isn't the first time and probably not the last time they will do this. It's such a great place! Definitely worth the visit. The members are awesome! Chrispy, Caleb, Jennifer, Marissa, Bella... there are more, but I can only remember these staff for now. These members are great, fantastic and very friendly. This place is my favorite. When you order a drink they remember it and if it doesn't taste right they'll remake it and still be genuinely nice about it. For me, this is the best location in Murrieta. read more

Small, cramped place. I have been there twice and been trampled by high school students (there is a high school close by) and a very large woman smashed into me as she tried to get by despite me being pinned against the wall (my only offense was waiting for my drink). There is not enough room to wait for your drinks without being in someone's way. NO OUTDOOR SEATING...kids all over the place..sitting on the floor...in corners...sitting on the side walk outside..not a place for business meeting or date. I will never visit again. read more

I stop here almost daily on my way to work. Everyone is super nice. Anytime Caleb sees me he greets me by name. My go to is a citrus defender which is often confused with the medicine ball, but they remake it for me whenever I catch the mistake before I leave. Staff has always been courteous and kind to my daughter after school. Most times they see her and fix a drink before she orders, knowing her so well. Very clean facility. I recently erroneously purchased a decaf bag off bean coffee for grinding... my mistake... I came back to purchase another bag and told of my mix up. They gave me a new bag of non decaf understanding my dilemma if I return the decaf! Awesome customer service! I'm not a really big fan of Starbucks anymore simply because most of the stores have gone down hill with drink quality as well as customer service. This morning at 10am I went into this store for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. My drink was made on time and perfectly. Which is unusual these days. And the barista was actually nice. He had time for me I walked in - didn't say a word he looked at me and asked me what my name was picked up the coffee and gave it to me. The store was busy. Service is great! Baristas are great! Internet is the slowest I have ever experienced at any Starbucks. My phone is faster. When I mean slow, it's like dial up slow. I work on the road and do more than half my work at Starbucks. I love the fact that their is almost always a table available to work at but makes it almost impossible to work. Most times, great service. This morning at approximately 630am...not so much. Three persons ordered after me and received their orders before me. When I inquired about it, the gal making the drinks responded it was coming and proceeded to make another order... Not mine. Oversight? Perhaps. However, no apology. Finally, I requested my money back... And magically my coffee was ready. Poor service this am. One nosy customer commented that if that's the worst that happens to her... Blah, blah, blah... If you are coming here to do any work on your computer, I would look elsewhere. The internet speed is 0.08 MBPS download and upload speeds don't even register on the test. I asked a manager to reset the router, and they said they can't because "it is out of reach" and "they don't know how". I tried explaining they just needed to pull the power but wouldn't. And she talks at the top of her lungs for the world to hear for some reason. She is very rude and a poor employee to have. Dirty Starbucks. 3 employees but no cleaning seems to happen. Tables are sticky. I have seen cleaner Starbucks in downtown Los Angeles. While waiting for our drinks a homeless woman came in and the barista took time away from making drinks to fill her 3 large water jugs with water. The one reason I still like Starbucks is for it being dependable and consistent. But the attitude from both employees working was terrible and the barista couldn't even take the time to STIR much less shake the clumpy matcha green tea powder into my drink. He just threw it on the top and handed it to me and said "here". So then I proceeded to sit in the store and try to mix my own drink for 10 min.
