Baristas at this place are sub par to what Starbucks stands for. I just paid $3.05 for an iced Americano with 2 pumps vanilla blended and throws half of it in the sink because it doesn't fit the grande cup. Think!!! The baristas at 79s are smarter and more personable and placed the content in a venti container. Also, so much crumbs on tables and chairs while they kept chatting behind the counter. I really like this location, has a great atmosphere. I have a mixed review on the staff though. There is a gentleman who works in the afternoons that is positive, efficient, and has great customer service. There is a gal in the morning who is rude and snappy. One of my favorite Starbucks. The best one in Temecula. One of the few without a drive thru. I like it better that way. The Starbucks with drive thru feel too cluttered to me and are always rushing you in and out. If I wanted to be rushed in and out I would get a McDonalds coffee drive thru. The style of this Starbucks is cozy and unique they focus on you when you are ordering. They are one of the few that still ask for your name to write on the cup. Back in the day Starbucks was more strict on that sort of thing. I understand why. it makes you feel more important. Call me a snob. Yes I am at Starbucks snob. What of it? Lol don't I deserve to be? They started off by spoiling us with exceptional customer service and of course after all it's $5 a cup of coffee. read more

Starbucks - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Murrieta, California

This input has nothing to do with service, but rather store upkeep. Every table was dirty with crumbs and spilled liquid. There are only two power outlets in the customer experience area (where the tables are). Those power outlets have adapters to fit about 4 power chords each, but they are located directly beneath single seating tables, which makes access impossible from other tables and also inappropriate as one would need to come danger close to a stranger in order to plug in devices. All but two guests are able to charge their devices while working/sitting and enjoying Starbucks products, which is counter intuitive for how much seating there is available at this location. One table claims to host "powermats," which 1) don't work and 2) are only compatible with certain devices. Along the same lines of the dirty environment, the windows have clearly not been wiped down this morning. It's currently morning time and the only rush to have come through so far are the "grab coffee and get to work" crowd. Hence, the dirty windows are more than likely preexisting from a previous day's customer crowd. The only reason it has two stars rather than one is because they can easily make this environment into 4 or 5 stars with the bare bones they are working with. It would just take a slight amount of care and creativity to get it there. 4/7/17UPDATE: It seems they have become more serious about cleaning the windows and tables. Internet sucks here, everyone is super loud, tables are dirty and employees don't know how to restart the router. My drink was fine.

I usually don't write reviews for starbucks because it's the same experience for the most part, usually no complaints but also nothing to write home about. However, my visit to this starbucks off California oaks road in murrieta today blew my mind! I was just passing through murrieta after visiting a friend (I don't live in the area) and stumbled upon this store in desperate need of my coffee fix. the girl at the register took my order and could tell I was hesitant about trying something new (the new maple drink) so she offered advise on how she likes to customize hers and made me feel super comfortable about getting something else if I didn't like it (it was delicious). she even gave me a free sample of a maple muffin to go with it! Then the girl making drinks was so personable, she started a conversation about the necklace I was wearing and we ended up talking for a while while she was making drinks. they never made me feel rushed or like I was an inconvenience for sticking around to chat for a few minutes which is unusual at Starbucks where I live. i was bummed I had to get on the road because it had such a great cozy vibe! I will definetly make a point to come back to this location next time I am in this area. read more

I have experienced great service today here @ the Starbucks Cal oaks. Employees are very polite and and always smile. I purchased Starbucks items as a gift to my son's teachers. Sometimes 60 seconds of kindness is all you need to change your day. I came in to pick up a mobile order and was greeted by Kat.. the hot holiday panini was almost ready when I walked in and the mobile order pickup was flawless. The game changer though was Kat. I was having one of those days where life just keeps hitting you with one thing after the next but you just keep on to do the next thing.. I knew stopping for nourishment was what I needed to do that evening.. what I didn't expect though was to be really seen and met in that moment with such kind eyes and gentle words. I walked out with a little hope in my step, it was truly a special exchange we shared and I wanted to share.. this Starbucks wasn't just about getting what I had ordered, it was an experience that changed my evening. Ugh!! Not only is a single restroom for men and women with a long line of people waiting to go poop, there's no place to change a diaper. I ended up changing my baby on a chair outside the bathroom door. The upkeep of the store isn't the cleanest and there's always the stench of cigarettes coming from the outside.
