I went through the drive-through today and ordered my normal three shots of espresso with extra light cream in a Vente iced cup. When I came up to the window the barista with the red hair told me that my total was 3.95. I told her that my drink is supposed to be 2.95 and that she overcharged me, and she told me that if you order it with cream they charge extra. As someone who used to work at Starbucks and not to mention I've been ordering the same drink for over a year I would know that you're only supposed to charge for cream if it's over 4 oz. she was very rude and it was just not a good experience I will not be returning. I'm pretty fond of the Starbucks drive-thru, and especially of this one. Sometimes a long line at a Starbucks drive-thru (or any drive-thru) can make one want to get out of their car and do it the old fashioned way, but I recently broke my foot and was on crutches, and that was not an option. Even with a long line, this 'Bucks whips out the orders quickly and correctly and with a smile on their face. It's definitely not the closest Starbucks to me, but if I'm cruising past and craving caffeine, I'll stop here. read more

I usually don't leave reviews for corporate business but I felt that the server deserves a shout out. I came in on 7-23 around 2 and ordered a original strawberry smoothie. The server informed me they were out on bananas that went in the original. So he made me one original with out the banana and then the new one too. I was able to try both and thought that's good customer service. I appreciated it and hope this finds its way back to that guy. Thank you. read more

Slowest Starbucks EVER. They had a normal amount of customers, not a ton, yet somehow it took half an hour to get our drinks. I still don't have them, so this review has nothing to do with the quality of drinks because I'm not sure I'm ever actually going to receive mine. They had ONE girl back there making drinks, and she was NEW! They have this rush *every morning*, so I don't understand why they aren't staffed for this!!! I go to this Starbucks frequently. I typically will go there first thing in the morning on my way to work to satisfy my need for a Venti Non-Fat Sweetened Iced Coffee and sometimes a pastry. I will usually use the drive-thru to place my order and I am usually assisted by Anthony. He is very professional and takes the time to greet me when I pull up to the window. The baristas are very fast and I am usually on my way in no more than a few minutes. On a good day I will make my way to this Starbucks later in the day and spend a little time inside. read more

The area is a little sketchy, especially at night. It is on the far left side near T-Mobile and Pizza Hut. There's a ton of parking which makes your experience a little better. The workers are really nice and patient when you have no idea what you want. There's a ton of seating which helps especially when college students take most of the tables for studying. There was no wow factor so that's the reason for the 3 stars. At least it was clean. My son and I only stayed at this location for about 10 minutes and it seemed like there was always someone cleaning everything and anything every 2-5 minutes. They switched off their duties so I thought that was a nice distribution of duties. read more

Slooooow. I've been here twice? And both times were bad. Both times, it wasn't even busy yet I stood there for a good 7 minutes while 3 employees were chit chatting ( one was doing the drive thru orders and the other two? Nothing) ordered my drinks. One was a venti mocha and ordered two more. Carried them to the car and started driving off, the bf takes a sip of the mocha frap and its very watery. Plain and watery. Disappointing. Not very engaging with customers either. I've been to plenty of Starbucks and this is close to the bottom of the totem pole. Sorry. read more

The crew here is very friendly and always willing to accommodate my coffee requests. They know my drink just by my face, which might mean I go there too much, but I'm okay with that. And for a place to stick out despite me being 95% a drive-through customer really says something. I have many Starbucks that I can go to in between my home and work, but I go out of my way to make sure I go to this specific one. Check it out! read more

I came in for my normal fix today and the usual welcoming atmosphere was gone! I felt like I was walking into room right after someone got into a fight. You know the feeling? Well I soon found out why. This woman, who I can only guess was a supervisor or something, was very negative to the employees. She was giving them dirty looks and being rude. These guys were really slow like they always are but we just ordered food so I figured it would be okay. Nope, still waiting for 15 minutes just to wait three minutes at the window and not even be greeted. A girl named Cassandra just opened the window and asked for $8.50 without even so much as a please. After we gave her our card, she shut the window, opened it, handed it back to us, shut it again to make us wait another 5 minutes for two sandwiches. Most likely won't be back. read more

They make the best of their sub-par location. Probably one of the fastest Starbucks drive-thru locations around Sacramento. The inside service can at times be slower than the drive-thru service; too slow for my comfort. read more

I am an early riser, so this starbucks really helps out, when ever i am in the area during september or january. I have been going here for about a few years, so having it open at 4:30 helps out a lot, since i always need to catch the first lightrail train out to downtown sacramento. Sacanime always happens those 2 months out of the entire year, so the starbucks around these area's always get swamped with people needing their caffeine fix for the day, kind staff and quick service during the early hours of the morning is perfect. read more

I'm actually a big fan of this Starbucks, but let me clarify something for you; I'm a big fan of their drive thru. Don't go inside, it's über slow. However, the drive thru is amazing! They're so speedy and have always got my drink right. It looks kinda scary when you drive up and there are 10+ cars in line, but no joke, you'll be out of there in a couple of minutes. I have a GPS device that I always program to tell me what time I'll be arriving to work (since I drive during rush hour from West Roseville to Midtown Sacramento) and it usually gives me a 5 minute delay, after pulling off the road, driving through the parking lot, drive thru, ordering and getting back on the road. The only thing I wish they'd fix is their ability to scan my app on my phone; it doesn't work in the sunlight and they usually have to take my phone inside and scan it out of the sunlight. I purposefully don't get on the freeway at Elkhorn because I want to hit this Starbucks up, instead of the drive thru in Antelope. read more

I come here a lot because it is beside my work. Last week I ordered a peppermint white mocha like I always do and when I drove off I realized I was given a venture coffee with cream no sugar. I didn't have time to go back so I just went on. Today as I pulled up to the window to pay, the dark haired girl working the window immediately asked if I was given the wrong drink the other day and then didn't charge me for this one. That, ladies and gentlemen, is what customer service is all about. I can't believe she remembered and then was so gracious. Will be a life long customer. read more

So, I love studying at Starbucks, but they make their music too loud. Even when your are trying to talk, you have to yell over the music sometimes. And it's true about other comments, they do take their time making the drinks. I love the layout of the place, but not the atmosphere that they create. read more

The SLOWEST Starbucks ever!!! How can a place with one customer who is sitting at a table 6am in the morning on a Thursday take 20 MINUTES to make one drink? The barista who is making the drink orders was too busy chatting with his co-workers and making drink orders for the drive-thru, but not mine?!? I'm standing right there in his line of sight SINCE THERE IS NOBODY THERE!! I finally get my drink, with not so much of an apology or any acknowledgment of the slowness. Went in today to order a venti black tea lemonade in a trenti cup with extra ice. I was told they have no way to sell that to me. Really? I have been ordering it all over the sacramento area and it has never been a problem. Went into the store to talk with a supervisor. Same song and dance. "We have a small stock room. It would throw our inventory off. It's been policy for 18 months. " Very poor customer service. Where did our societies critical thinking skills go? So we left. Went to the Starbucks at Madison & I-80. The barista, Stirling, said it was no problem, he just hits the "ask me" button, they add some ice to the big cup and off we go. I've been to this location a couple of different times, the drive thru is typically pretty busy. Today I decided to skip the wait in the drive thru and head inside, besides I had some time to kill before work. I entered and the store had maybe 3 customers inside, nice and quiet and no line! I got a protein bistro box, as they've been highly recommended to me by my co-worker. I got to work and opened my bistro box to find it missing the white cheddar cheese, which is totally a bummer because the hard boiled egg, and the cheese and biscuit were what I was most looking forward to eating. I attempted to give them a call to see if I could come exchange it for one that had everything I paid for, but I sat on the phone listening to it ring for about 7 minutes. Finally it hung up on me, I tried back hoping someone would answer...nothing. 3 calls later, 0 answered I am now frustrated and hungry. I took a photo of the bistro box, cheesless as can be, and am hoping that will be sufficient proof for them to correct their mistake. Overall this is a small error, but the fact that you're completely unable to get ahold of anyone via phone is ridiculous in my opinion. How is their a Starbucks operating that just doesn't use their phone, what? I just don't get it and I wish that they'd at least answer and put me on hold, rather than not answer AT ALL. Hoping to get my missing cheese later, will post update should their be any sort of cheese hostage situations. read more
