1 STAR EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE My girlfriend Taylor and I came into this Starbucks for the first time with our laptops and bags because we planned to get some work done and have our Bible study, something we regularly do at Starbucks locations. Before we had even been inside for FIVE MINUTES, a manager approached us and said, "Hi, you guys need to order to be able to sit in here." What made this especially frustrating was that WE HAD ALREADY PLACED OUR ORDER ONLINE. We always order through the app and then pick up our drinks when they're ready. Instead of simply asking whether we had already ordered, she immediately approached us as though we were sitting there without purchasing anything. The entire interaction felt judgmental and extremely uncomfortable. I am heavily tattooed, When I told her I felt judged because of how I look and my tattoos, she responded by saying she has tattoos too and even tried showing me hers. That completely missed the point it was the way we were approached and treated that made us feel judged and unwelcome. the way we were singled out almost immediately certainly made me feel judged based on my appearance. There was absolutely no reason to assume we weren't customers. Or maybe this was a religious matter with our bibles on the table , being judged for our faith and our appearance. It was also embarrassing having a manager approach us like that in front of other people. I am not someone who embarrasses easily, but this genuinely made both of us uncomfortable. On top of that, the location itself was already not very welcoming when we walked in. It appears to be undergoing remodeling, with unfinished/unpainted walls, and we were actually debating whether we even wanted to stay. Then, within minutes of sitting down, we were confronted about ordering when our order had already been placed. We decided not to leave because I refuse to allow someone else's attitude to dictate our day, but this was an incredibly disappointing first impression. A manager should know how to make customers feel welcome not immediately make assumptions about them. A simple, polite, "Hey, just checking, have you guys already ordered?" would have resulted in a completely different interaction. Instead, we felt singled out, judged, embarrassed, and unwelcome. For someone in management, I expected considerably more professionalism and basic courtesy. We visit Starbucks to work, study the Bible, enjoy our drinks, and mind our own business. We shouldn't have to prove that we belong there within minutes of walking through the door. We aren't ones to write a bad review but wow, this was Very disappointing experience, especially for our first visit to this location. The manager was sure in our business but has disappeared the rest of the time being here, conveniently not dictating any other customer. read more

Moving day! My husband and I were moving and needed some coffee to get going the day of our move. This Starbucks Coffee came in clutch!!! It was busy. There were lots of people picking up their coffee orders. My guess, they were picking up mobile orders. Ambiance was busy, but they whipped the drinks up fast. Moving is so stressful. It's better with coffee lol Especially, yummy Starbucks coffee. I grabbed an iced coffee with 4 pumps of vanilla syrup, 2 white mocha, and a caramel drizzle. It was delicious! It was exactly what I needed on moving day! My husband got a sunset blend. He finished that coffee so fast. My mom got a green tea, and my dad got a caramel Frappuccino. The young lady taking the order was so polite, and warm and accurately took the order which was on the receipt. The lady making the drinks seemed irritated and made the drink incorrect. My wife went to have the drink fixed and said she was treated with frustration. It's a shame that the cashier did such a great job and the final interaction was extremely disappointing. Came here and was very surprised with the service given by cashier Wendy. She was genuinely sweet and kind with every customer. It was starting to get busy and Wendy made sure to thank everyone for waiting. This is really nice to see how attentive your team is. They were quick with orders and maintained the tables cleaned. When you have 5+ orders of the same thing (Pumpkin cream cold brew) which I saw people walking out with, don't ask me to order with extra cream next time. Make enough for all drinks! I came here with my friends two yorkie dogs on a walk. I wasn't allowed to go in, because they're not service dogs. Good morning at least for me. It's a great morning. It's 6:10 AM Friday, January 3 I've had this major cold flu, whatever it is for about a week. The last three days I've been overdosing myself with Starbucks medicine ball hot tea, it's delicious makes me feel better. Most Starbucks will tell me that they don't have the exact ingredients to make a medicine ball hot tea, but they can make something very similar, with different ingredients. Honestly, I could not tell you what the difference was because they all tasted pretty darn good and made me feel much better! This morning I went into this Starbucks (Chapman/Main in Orange) for the second morning in a row. Yesterday I was greeted by a very friendly young lady with piercings in her nose. I did not catch her name. She was super pleasant and very helpful. She mentioned to me that she did not have the proper ingredients, but she could make me something, wow how nice!Today I walk in, was never treated by the three grumpy employees that I saw working. (strike one)! I go to the cashier to place my order and this gentleman who I'm probably insulting because "he"prefers to be called "it" not "he"had a look as if he was not enjoying his morning, not a "good morning no nothing" (strike two)! I said hi can I please get a medicine ball, large please? He said we don't have those teas right now and no local Starbucks has them. (strike three) well he is full of BS, because I just got one last night at the Starbucks on 17th and Tustin! This person didn't even offer to make me something similar, Why is he working if he does not enjoy his job why is he employed by Starbucks if he treats people like this? This review is specifically for the Starbucks on Chapman and Main in Orange. This is the Starbucks that's closest to my work. It doesn't have a drive thru. I ordered a tall pistachio latte through the app. It was ready for pickup when I arrived. My drink tasted fine, and the temperature was fine. My gripe is the one-inch gap when the foam settles. I hate Starbucks for this reason. You pay exorbitant prices for drinks, and you get a partially filled cup. I was a Starbucks barista for 9 years. I would always let the foam settle and then fill the rest of the cup with milk. It takes a little extra time, but it ensures the customers are getting their money's worth. If I could give 0 star review I would. First of all, the regular/former baristas were far better and not rude. Second, as a barista you don't complain/say out loud "Oh this drink for [guest name] WON'T WORK" etc. What do you mean won't work? When a guest order thru mobile there's an option to "customize" the drink. If it won't work, then there shouldn't be any option at all. Also, you're a barista making the drink for your guests why would you say that? Are you the one gonna drink it? No, right? You should be mindful of what you say especially if that guest can overhear what you're saying. I won't say your name on here, next time I'd get the same customer service I'd assume that you're really not being professional with your work. Rude af. read more

I really don't understand how a simple coffee can't be simple enough. I went in to order a 2.25 coffee. I told the guy I wanted room for cream and asked if I wanted cream and sugar. I said yes 4 yellow packs. Then he said it was going to be handed to me. So a girl hands me the creamer but no coffee. I checked where you usually pick up your coffee and it was not there. So I asked him where my coffee was and he told the female employee to get it. She apologized but I ignored it because they had forgotten to give me a simple coffee order! Then I go over to table to fill my coffee with creamer and it was filled to the max. I asked the guy standing there( like he didn't see me) and asked him that I wanted room for cream and he goes over to the machine throws half of my tiny small overpriced coffee and gives it to me half empty ! LIKE WHAT?! I asked if he was in a bad mood. He said no. I asked and said you threw half of it out. So he gets another cup and fills it up less than for my creamer. NEVER AGAIN! Store is in a quiet complex so the traffic has rarely been bad. You will get your drinks in a couple minutes and staffs are more than friendly and helpful. There are not a lot of tables and chairs and as the vibe in the store, this location is more suitable for a pick-up-and-go rather than for a hanging-out vibe. Plenty of parking as well! read more
