I don't usually write reviews for chain businesses like a Starbucks but I almost feel obligated to. The overall 3 stars is a little dramatic you guys! I've been using my mobile app to order a latte or espresso treat-myself at least twice a week, pretty consistently for weeks now at this location. My order is alway correct and from the time I place my order to the time I pick it up, it's actually ready. Some places make you wait additional, kind of defeating the whole "on the go mobile order" not this location. (About 7 minutes from when I place ye order to when I pick it up) I'm always greeted with a smile or some other warm welcome, even though I'm literally in the store for 2 minutes. But today I placed my order inside and the young lady was super nice and prompt. The space is always clean and it's open with plenty of seats. For having one caveat that there is no drive thru, but there's always plenty of parking available because it's in a large plaza - this location is pretty decent quality in service. I don't normally visit this location, but co-workers like it so I gave it a try. I wasn't too impressed. I did a mobile order about 7 minutes prior to picking up, but when I arrived, I waited another 10 minutes. The location was not crowded since it was a holiday for many people. I normally go to the one on Katella and Main. That location is much more crowded, yet way more efficient. Another thing that bothered me was the fact that when they're finished making your order, they don't call out your name. It seemed like unless you're a regular, you kind of get the cold shoulder. I've never been to a Starbucks where they don't call out your name. There were maybe 4 people waiting for their drinks. I ordered the Iced Molten Chocolate Latte. I don't know if this was made incorrectly or if this drink is not supposed to be ordered over ice because there were chunks of chocolate occupying the bottom 1/6th of my drink. ATTENTION: This Starbucks does not have any outlets to plug in your computer. They covered up all six outlets. Super bummed, that I can't pop in here for a quick study session. The food warmer machine takes forever. They process all Mobile Orders before anything else. Which takes FOREVER. The staff is super friendly though and the place is clean. we all know every Starbucks can be hit or miss right... I mean they say they are improving their service and experience but whatever, yea? OK so I'm waiting for my food next door at this asian place and have a feeling they're not particularly swift and it's very hot so I go next door for an iced coffee. there's a sign for iced vanilla latte and I think, that sounds pretty good but I just want a regular size (tall), and not spend an extra 75 for "grande" I don't really need. next I know, all serious looking chick (not the one that took my money), pours my drink and leaves it on the counter. not a word, not a glance, nothing. I get that she was restocking since it was a slow time... but it... was... not... busy. a little "here you go" would have sufficed. anyway I take 3 sips of the thing and realize, there are only 4 sips in the cup since she stacked it to the lid with ice. food's finally ready at the place next door, I go back to visit chick #1 and just say, look can I have a little bit less ice and little bit more drink please? she basically re-makes it which was probably more than necessary, but maybe there wasn't any other way. then she goes, oh, yeah we use a SCOOP so next time ask for "no ice". how about, there are 2 lines on the cup to show you how much ice to put, tell the deaf mute behind you not to exceed it (or your training) next time? oh yeah no drive thru... but then there aren't many in Orange that are. then again I know people that like this one... hmm read more

This would never happen at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf... I can't believe it! All electrical outlets under the table and all four outlets on the wall have blank plates sealing the electricity, and preventing any consumers from doing any kind of work that requires to have a computer connection. So much for customer service and being consumer-friendly. It's not a matter of never having electric receptacles, they have it, THEY HAD IT, and they are unwilling to share the little bit that we use when we come and give them their business. I come in every day barefoot after waking up in the morning cause I live around the corner and today was the first day I was asked to wears shoes by a employee I haven't seen before. Let me know with a comment where it says I can't come in with out shoes or please put up a sign rather than just telling people. Have never had this problem before at any Starbucks in the area. My wife and I decided to stop here this morning before our daughters appointment at CHOC, it was supposedly the only open coffee shop at 4:30AM. I walked up to the door at 4:35 and tried to open it and it was locked. The employees saw me and purposely ignored me until I left at 4:50AM. I thought it might have been a mistake with the times on Apple Maps but The sign on the door says open at 4:30AM. I frequent this Starbucks location a lot mainly because the baristas are so nice and friendly. Drinks are always made accurately and I always feel welcome when I walk in the door and I am often greeted by name. Great service all around! This location has the clover system but does not have the nitro system. I work within walking distance to this location so I don't really have to deal with the parking but know that the lot is small and its tough to find a spot during the lunch hour rush as there are other quick service restaurants in the same center. read more

I stopped by this morning to grab one of those tasty reduced fat turkey bacon breakfast sandwiches and a cup of coffee to help me kick start my day. Now, Starbucks is known for having those employees who smile and greet you as soon as you walk in or at least approach the counter. Well, today was slightly different. I don't know if the chick at the counter was just having a bad hair day (cause it looked like hell) or perhaps she is just a negative miserable bitch.... Poor thing didn't look happy at all. This is one of my favorite Starbucks that I go to almost every morning before work and school and sometimes it could be a long line but even with a long line and never fails that they always have me in and out within the 10 minute period. The customer service is always so great they're super friendly and I love it when I come inside there always smiling. Their breakfast sandwiches are so good I try not to get them cause I don't want to spend more money only on coffee but when I do get those breakfast sandwiches they're so good I have tried each and everyone of him and there's not a bad one in the bunch. If you're the type of person that gets full of very little I would suggest you trying them but if you need like a big plate of food to get filled I suggest you not get them because then it would be a waste of your money. read more

I have only sat in here at a table once, and I will say that seating can be limited during busy times. That being said, I just about always take my drink to go. The baristas are pretty nice. It's not as busy of a location compared to most Starbucks around the area, and it's kept pretty clean. 3.5 Stars I come to this Starbucks whenever we happen to eat at Cha Thai down the way. It's in the same plaza and my friend SS and I always stop by before heading back to work. Service has always been friendly and I always get a good drink. It's a much smaller Starbucks than most others, so most tables are taken around lunch time, whenever I happen to be there.
