Haven't been to a Peet's Coffee in years. I just found out they have a rewards app, so I figured it's a perfect timing to try this spot again. Parking: This spot is located in the back corner of a plaza. There's a large parking lot, so finding a parking spot is easy. Ambiance/Environment: They have a small space with some indoor seating. It's a studious work environment. Majority of customers grab their orders and leave though. It gets very busy in the mornings. Highly recommend mobile ordering bc you can select a time of when you prefer your order to be ready. Service: Alannah was the barista that assisted me during my first visit. She's courteous and efficient. I noticed there were only 3 baristas each time I visited. Throughput took a while bc they were juggling mobile orders, in-store orders, and cashiering. Round of applause for holding it down. Drinks: I ordered a seasonal drink and a core drink. The Holiday Spice Latte had notes of cinnamon, ginger, allspice, cloves, and nutmeg. It definitely tasted like a holiday in a cup of coffee. I also tried their Vanilla Latte. It tasted as expected. The espresso shot isn't as strong as I prefer, so I'd get another shot. During my second visit, I tried their Caramel Macchiato. It was sweet, and again, I prefer stronger espresso shots. Pricing: Prices reflect any other supply chain coffee shop. This Peet's is pretty tucked away -- you'd miss it if not for the sign out front by the auto shop. I stopped in specifically for the limited-time ZombieBrew (grab it before it disappears into the darkness). Hahhahah There are 4 staff on duty, and the barista that took my order was friendly and helpful to make sure my "sweetness level is right". There's a steady flow of customers coming through and with 3 hard working baristas still seems to be a bit backed up (likely due to mobile orders). The cold brew doesn't seem strong, but it's still good. The matcha-foam topping is not thick nor enough. This is a bit disappointing. The interior is clean. It's best to see "cubicle" of Door Dash orders. There's no seating inside but lots of tables outside. read more

I want to say I love the coffee here. Customer service is not the best but not the worse either There is only one person who is always nice and friendly and very helpful her name is Heidi. She always makes me feel welcome. The rest of the employees are okay not too nice, but not rude either. They do their job and most of us customers just want our coffee and leave. Today I went in and I had a cashier named Alannah now she is rude and has no patience. English is my second language and I was trying to explain something to her and she just ignored me. She made me feel so bad and she just didn't care and it's okay I am sure she sometimes gets rude customers and she is probably tired of that, but This was not the case. I hope she will still be working there for a while she should learn from Heidi and BE nicer to customers. I hope she realizes that we go there to buy coffee not to get her rude attitude. I started to come to this TUSTIN location more often, now that the other well known coffee place quality is absolutely diluted. At this TUSTIN location, I tried... MOCHA MOUSSE - it was the best combination of hot coffee and chocolate that I have ever had. I normally don't like coffee and chocolate together because they tasted like pine wood. Only at this place made this drink well blended, balanced, and delicious. It tasted more like a cozy hot chocolate with a boost of caffeine to keep you carryon with your life. Brewed Green Tea - I know it just a tea bag in hot water- but the quality, blend, and taste elevate your being. Strong and liberating. Sparkling Tiger's Eye - interestingly good. An excellent mock tail. You could easily down 4 of these if not careful, next thing you know security came in with net trying to catch you bouncing off walls. read more

First time here and to be honest I didn't know there was a Peet's coffee in the area. I stopped by because I needed t have breakfast since I was fasting for blood work to be done but anyways that's a different story. I was greeted right away. I did ask for a couple suggestions and let me say they were on point. I decided to get the Havana cappuccino iced and an almond croissant. The iced havana cappuccino without the latte was delicious as I did let them know I didn't want it too sweet. The croissant was nice and fluffy and with the almonds yummyyyy! I recently tried Peet's Coffee for the first time after being recommended by a work acquaintance. This location is so close to my job that I finally decided to drop by. The interior looks clean & I couldn't help but notice how hard the staff was working to get order's ready. I saw a previous negative review about not being welcomed or told hello well girl if you notice how hard these people are working you'd see it's because they are so focused on their jobs that they may not have noticed you. Did you even say hi to them, wish them a good morning, let alone come in with a smile? Maybe not, hey I get it I'm not a morning person either, but if you see people hard at work don't expect them to drop what they are doing to acknowledge you, there's orders that go in like crazy I assume & they are in the zone with their focus set on fulfilling multiple customers orders ready. I can understand if they are being chatty amongst themselves like other places I've been to, but when I visited I observed these people working hard with no chitchat going on so maybe try being a little kind. Anyways I got their Havana Cappuccino w/ almond milk & a blueberry muffin. I just have to say this was among the best cappuccino's I've had, very rich in flavor. It has condensed milk & cinnamon in it, I was a little worried that it would be too sweet for my taste, but it was so well balanced. The cold brew black tie was excellent! This is a Baridi cold brew with chicory, a plant with a lots of health benefits apparently although I couldn't really pick out the flavor, and a layer of condensed milk on the bottom. We always buy coffee here today. I bought extra. I got 4 pounds worth the bill was over $90 along with it. I ordered a bagel toasted with cream cheese, but they nuked it and handed it to me steamed I took a couple bites after that it was inedible as microwaves make bread into something rugged not something that you like to eat. I went back and said hey I wanted this toasted not nuked they shrugged. Sorry that's what we have! so I'm just saying go ahead and buy the coffee but don't expect a bagel to get toasted properly after you pay whatever the high price is for it. 7:20 am I get here for a coffee. I ordered a black tie iced coffee and a warmed up sandwich and a water for my long 2.5 hour drive to work. the cashier super nice so I wanted to leave a goo $2.50 cent tip. I don't have to but they work so hard. I waited longer than expected but not mad. but the blonde haired young girl making the coffees forgot my water. when I asked her she sighed and you can read all the frustration on her face!!!! like hey I ordered the water up front this wasn't a last minute request. Always a good experience at any Peet's and this location is especially great with their customer service. I enjoy how the employees make an effort to remember our names if we are regulars. The location itself is always very clean and there is plenty of parking. There is also a nice outdoor area to sit. The only downfall is that it is a smaller location so there are only 2 tables that can be used indoors. The rest are those high counters with bar stools. And usually the nice big table is taken by 1 person doing work in their computer. But that is not the fault of Peets so I didnt dock any stars. Just giving you a heads up if in case you wanted a good coffee stop to study at. I usually order their ice blended matcha with no extra sweetener (it is sweet on its own) and my husband usually orders a latte. Both drinks are always very tasty! read more

It's kind of like getting a cocktail at a bar and then getting the same cocktail at a better bar. Both are good, but one is better. This is the better Peet's coffee bar. I love this coffee place so much! Their coffee doesn't hurt my stomach after ordering and drinking their coffee. It's all fresh and they different kinds of coffee options. Depending the time you decide to go, it can get busy. I have their Peetnik Rewards app, which you can reload your card and check in. Unfortunately, they do not have the option to order ahead and pick up at this location, which I hope soon they can do so. Other than that, the staff is totally friendly and if you're a regular, they know you by name, which I think is definitely awesome! The baristas there do the best they can to get the orders out and they do such a timely job. Never once have they messed up an order. Their White Chocolate Mocha iced & hot, as well as their Black Tie Cold Brew, are my go to beverages. The flavors are just so delicious! The guy who was working 1/4 around 11am was probably the first person I've met at this location that was truly nice and had such upbeat energy. They were out of the chorizo flatbread today so we tried that sausage burrito, not bad! I like Peete's as a place to go and either just chill or read. The people are nice and helpful. It's in a great shopping center and they have inside and outside seating. It's a steady stream of people more than being overcrowded like a Starbucks. I wish that they had a better skinny or low sugar version of their blended mocha because that's really where diets are going. Mmmm...good coffeeee. ^_^ It feels like this is an older Peet's, but you can walk in and smell that true earthy, strong coffee smell that you can really only get at Peet's. When you walk in, seating area is on the left, straws/napkins on the right, and, if you go in further, cashier will be on the left, and pickup station is towards the back of the room and on the left. It's Peet's, so it's a coffee chain; same menu as the other Peet's. They do sell coffee beans and any drinking accessories, of course. Staff was cool. No issues with answering my questions, getting their suggestions, ordering, or picking up the order. Both coffee drinks we got were brewed correctly, and you get that bitter, zingy taste of caffeine during first sip, which I prefer. I'm not a fan of getting hit by coffee an hour or two later than expected. :/ Parking lot is decent. It is a strip mall, so I can imagine the parking lot being very full at times. No real shade, so it's more of a get-up-and-go type of mall. That SHOULD mean that spots should open up somewhat quickly, but I saw plenty of patrons (from all shops in the center) just casually doing their weekend tasks without any need to rush. read more

Waited nearly 22 minutes for 2 drinks. Which is insane, considering how few people come here. Came here to get coffee for my mother on Mother's Day. They weren't even busy when I ordered. There was 1 person ahead of me, and on top of that, people behind me who ordered AFTER me got their orders quickly and left within 3-4 minutes. And no, they didn't have online orders. They ordered at the register like I did. I would have ordered through their app, but for whatever reason, I can't customize drinks the way my mother likes it through their app. Even after I got my drinks, they didn't provide a carrier or those toothpick like things to prevent spillage on hot drinks to take with me to the car and carry out. To make matters worst, they had 3 employees there, all just hanging out. They could have gotten my order quickly if they were doing what their paid to do rather than just goofing around. No reason anyone should have to wait 22 minutes for coffee... Hell, Starbucks doesn't even take that long and they get 100 times more customers and longer lines than Peet's. Maybe because with a growing chain coffee shop, the staff in each location and how they interact with the customers and do the various job tasks can make them just average or really outstanding. I am certainly no coffee connoisseur, if I have a cup to go on a busy weekend once or twice a month that would be a lot. That being said, I had never tried Peet's but made a mental note to do so. Fast forward to a busy, sweaty Saturday before Christmas, coffee and sugar needed asap. Peet's to the rescue, all 3 kids working were super sweet and helpful, $1 off with Yelp check in, awesome! Caramel mocha freddo sounded good, after ordering I saw their seasonal salted caramel mocha, too late too change order, made with both different chocolate and caramel, could not talk my husband into ordering the other so I could try both. The caramel I could not taste, it was like a chocolate shake with an obnoxious amount of cheap chocolate syrup, what a let down.
