Grande flat white
Emil C.

I stopped here to pick up my pre-race coffee before heading over to the Rose Bowl Half Marathon. Thank goodness they were open at 4:30 am! This location was super convenient as it was just north of the 210 freeway off of the Lake Ave exit. Per the usual with my visits to any Starbucks, I placed my order on the mobile app before getting into the drive-thru lane. My grande flat white was good and on par with any Starbucks that I've visited. The guy manning the drive-thru was nice and friendly for it being so early at dark o'clock!

I've always passed by this Starbucks while getting fuel and wondered what it is like inside. Mind you this is a drive-thru store first and an inside store just for ordering as a pedestrian. The staff are super nice and Gabriela helped me with a smile and genuine nice person. I will make this my go to Starbucks just for the staff and cleanliness of the store.

Happy birthday to me!!
Alizul Z.

Happy birthday to me as a Starbucks rewards member. I was gifted a free Frappuccino of my choice on my birthday and I also use my five dollar gift card from Christmas to treat myself to a birthday cake pop a super indulgent treat. The cake pops are so moist on the inside, but the right amount of sweetness and the outside is so crunchy with that pink shell. The Frappuccino itself was very good. I honestly prefer a little bit sweeter, but it was so enjoyable the employees working that were super kind to me and wish me a happy birthday, which made me feel very special. Inside the store was a very calm ambience. There was absolutely no line when the time I went in and the drive-through line looked very speedy. Thank you Starbucks so much.!!

Happy Summer Skies!!!

Lovely "summer skies beverage" against beautiful summer skies at sunset!! What a great recommendation by the cashier to try this refresher for my absolutely free bday treat! My tummy is a smiling!

Although is location is my neighborhood Starbucks I dislike the lack of seating which is due to the unsheltered population. Also, the tastes of drinks vary and aren't consistent like other Starbucks locations. Lastly, customer service g

In store pick up

Used the app to order "In -store pickup" I get to the "store" and the doors are closed. No signs of them closing early, employees acknowledged me outside. At least 3 of them looked at me and turned their head down, I can see my hot drink on the pickup counter. Not sure why they have it at the pickup counter when I can't get in, finally a guy tells me to go in the drive-thru . I had to wait 10 minutes in line to get my hot drink, I get to the window and all employees looked upset, girl at the window was no help either .

This place has a drive-thru, and because of that it is always super busy. Fortunately the crew at this place is fast.

Beyond its innovative drinks, the café offers an impressive lineup of freshly baked pastries made in-house, ensuring there's something to suit every palate. From the moment our order arrived, the vibrant presentation left us even more excited to dig in. **Banana Cream Matcha: 4/5** The Banana Cream Matcha reimagined the classic matcha latte with a decadent twist. Topped with a luscious layer of banana-infused foam and crunchy almond toffee, it offered a satisfying textural contrast, while the housemade banana purée, featuring chunks of real banana, delivered a fresh, naturally sweet flavor. The latte was exceptionally smooth and creamy, but it leaned a bit too milky, causing the matcha's earthy notes to become fairly subdued. It was also slightly sweeter than my preference, making it feel more like a dessert-inspired matcha than a true matcha-forward latte. **Pistachio Croissant: 5/5** This was easily the highlight of our order. The croissant featured an incredibly flaky, crispy exterior that gave way to a light, airy interior with beautiful buttery layers. It was generously filled with a rich, nutty cream that accentuated the pistachio's deep, roasted flavor while maintaining just the right amount of sweetness. Finished with a white chocolate pistachio drizzle and a delicate dusting of powdered sugar, every bite was indulgent yet perfectly balanced. Overall, Danbi Coffee shows plenty of promise through its specialty drinks and well-executed pastries. While I'd love to see a bolder matcha presence in their lattes, the exceptional pistachio croissant alone gives me every reason to return and explore the rest of their menu.

It's in Burlington Arcade (which for my Ann Arbor folks is literally just like Nickels Arcade! except this one is weirdly empty - lots of empty storefronts) but, MCS is popping! I was a bit split on what to get because the Gui Hua latte has so many mixed reviews on Yelp. So, I went with my gut instead (and the caffeine fiend in me) and ordered the cold brew item of course. But theirs is so lovely - it was the Sicily ($6.25 - Ethiopian cold brew, orange blossom water, lemon juice, touch of raw sugar, lime zest). It drinks like a refreshing tonic BUT I love that they shake this beverage and then top it with fresh lime zest. Lovely. I also had the ham & cheese croissant and it was awesome. I was eyeing the miso kouign amann but opted out, I'll have to come back for it as well as some of their matcha options!

I was trying to put the lid on and the flimsy cup collapsed under the pressure. I spilled coffee all over the floor in the cafe and onto my suede purse and clothes. I thought it was my fault and mandarin kindly remade my drink, but when I took it to my friend, the same thing happened when she opened and closed the cup, got coffee all over my car. The cup is too flimsy. All in all, a great place for picking up coffee

But nooooo. Mr. B can smell sinfully yummy calories, even with a bag over his head, a mile away. Their specialty... chocolate croissants. Thus, we let Artisanal Goods lure us in. No parking, way too busy, way too full to seat us, a line bursting out the door, the tiny bakery cafe still seduced us. That is, Mr B circled the block in the car but pushed me out to get in line. It was the idea of a flaky, buttery, chocolate croissant crumbling all over his shirt that made him do it. And I had no intention of saying no. The line went quickly. The last Kouign Amann had just escaped my clutches to the guy in front of me, darn it. But there were still trays upon trays of freshly baked, massive chocolate croissants displayed in their custom, wood display case right next to the register. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt like I was inconveniencing them just by ordering. A friendly attitude goes a long way, and that was completely missing. The coffee was even more disappointing. It had almost no flavor and tasted watered down, especially for the price. I expected a quality drink, but it was bland and absolutely not worth what I paid. To make matters worse, we were told to leave the patio an hour before the shop was even closing. If the patio has different hours, that should be clearly communicated instead of asking paying customers to leave early. Overall, this was a frustrating experience. Between the unfriendly service, flavorless coffee, and being asked to leave well before closing, I won't be coming back. There are plenty of other cafés in Pasadena that offer much better coffee and treat their customers with respect.
