I hate writing bad reviews for business' but they need to pay more attention. I have been going to this Starbucks off and on for about 2 years now. I always order the Vente Vanilla Latte @ child's temperature. I just want to get my coffee and down it! That's it! How hard could that really be? Long story short, the past 3 times I've gone in and asked for it...I really would hate to be that child that drinks that hot a$$ cup of coffee....pay more attention to your temperatures....I asked for child's temperature for a reason!!! I usually stop at this Starbucks after an Eaton Canyon or Echo Mountain hike. It's located in the Whole Foods shopping center so there's plenty of parking if you're willing to walk a bit. There's a lot of electrical outlets under the center table and underneath the table along the window. Staff like many Starbucks are fun and friendly. Only negative is the wifi is soooooo sloooowww. You're better off just going to the Whole Foods and leetching off their wifi. read more

This is a bad location to begin with it gets all the traffic and noise from Foothill Blvd. then even if you wanted to sit on the tables outside you get to hear the traffic from the cars passing by so who can enjoy that? The drinks and employees are just as rushed and overworked from all the crowd coming in and out from all the shoppers so they are not very friendly. read more

I have been going to this Starbucks for over 4yrs. People are friendly and cares to get it right.

The staff here is not very friendly. Maybe one or two. But I usually get the unfriendly girl or the "takes his precious time making drinks" guy. It really drags when you come in early in the morning for an oatmeal and drink and the unfriendly girl is there. I want someone who won't make me feel so depressed because I am up early. And also, I usually order for a friend also and I get 2 orders of oatmeal. One with soy. She never marks which one is soy! And when I ask, she hesitates and then says the one on the left side of the bag with the dried fruit bags on top of it. LAME. They have markers, she can't just write soy on it? Haven't been to this location in forever (mostly in part because Peet's is a few more seconds down the road and I go there when I get the rare chance). The baristas were pretty friendly this time around. The guy at the register was really nice while taking our orders and the girl making the drinks was friendly as well. This has got to be be fav Starbucks in the area. The only downfall is the packed parking lot and no drive thru. My preordered drink is usually waiting for me at the counter by the time I get there which I can't say for the other Starbucks in the area. This location is fast and friendly. Food/Cost: (3/5) You get the usual Starbucks collection of drinks, sandwiches, pastries, and items; and everything I've had is on par with usual Starbucks standards. In addition to my drink order, I actually tried a new menu item during my last visit -- the Roasted Tomato & Mozzarella Panini ($5.45) -- and let me tell you, that thing is petite! It was pretty good heated up and everything, but it definitely wasn't enough of a lunch for me. Oh, well you don't really come to Starbucks for their savory foods anyways. Ambiance: (4/5) Good news is that this is a great Starbucks for studying, working, reading, and other extended stay activities; bad news is that everyone else also knows it too. In addition to the free wifi and public restroom, this Starbucks is great as it's on the larger side, which lends itself to a few larger tables. There's the 4-seater in the corner that I particularly like :) There are a couple electrical outlets scattered along the walls, but you'll have to hope and pray that those tables are available when you get here because cords from the tables in the middle of the floor can't really reach the outlets without creating a walking hazard. Better strategy may be to come fully charged (if you need your laptop) and hope that someone with the outlet relinquishes their spot before your battery life runs out. If you don't need an electrical source, then you have the option of sitting outside where there are 4(?) of additional tables. My most recent visit was this past Sunday at 1:00pm and there were a few tables available. However, by the time we were leaving at 6:00pm, this place was packed and people were sharing tables! And before you think that my 5-hour stay was in any way impressive, let me just tell you that a few people who were here before us were still cozily situated when we were leaving. Location: (5/5) I love the location of this Starbucks. It's close to grocery stores (Whole Foods and Ralphs), shopping (Marshalls, Nordstrom Rack, Ross), and a bunch of cafes and restaurants. Super convenient and with a diverse crowd of people. The lot for this shopping plaza is huge and even though it gets busy, there's always a spot open somewhere in it. Plus, it's close to the 210 Fwy and large main streets -- another plus. Service: (5/5) The service here is fast and friendly. Nothing bad here. Overall: (4/5) If you're in need of a Starbucks to plant yourself for a couple hours, this is a good one to visit. However, you'll have to pray that it's not already full. read more

This is the Starbucks I use to come to all the time, when I use to work across the street. I still come here time to time, when I'm in the neighborhood. It's located in a shopping plaza that I still frequent, since there's a Old Navy, Party City, Chipotle, and Ulta that I enjoy going to. The service is always nice and friendly here. When it's nice out, you can enjoy your drink outside where they offer a few tables with umbrellas. I enjoy this Starbucks when I'm on Foothill. read more

A Starbucks is a Starbucks is a Starbucks. Star-sucks. *sucks. I haven't been in one since visiting NYC years ago - and I never even was a patron there. Everyone in NYC knows the Starbucks is the public restroom. This place is small and sad. Every time I enter a Starbucks I feel like I'm in an extended portion of a public restroom. I came into this one and the floors were being wiped down...and it was just overall untidy. I think no music was on at this location,1 star for that! The barista lied to me. I just got a regular ole cup of "blonde (light) roast" and he said he'd make a fresh batch since the time's up on the current one. Having been a barista for The Coffee Beanery, I understood and said I wouldn't mind waiting 4 minutes for brewing. I waited the four minutes, looked forward to a fresh hot cup of blonde, and when I got it...I guess they took me for a fool, because it was so not fresh and hot. Anyone would be able to tell. Lucky for them I was really in a good mood anyway not feeling confrontational, and for some reason the first thought that crossed my mind was - at least I won't have to wait for it to cool down. I just had to pull over somewhere and have this one last cigarette I've been holding onto since Saturday which my friend bummed, being a social smoker. I was just running errands and getting groceries. I sure as hell couldn't see myself smoking outside of Sprouts. I'm sure health foodies wouldn't appreciate second-hand smoke. I should have just got coffee from Whole Foods and wandered the parking lot in retrospect. Ah, the neurosis of coffee and cigarettes...in California, a particularly health-conscious state where it is a no-no to smoke in a car when there's a minor present. (Which I think is wonderful). I thought of smoking in my car, but I always hate when smokers throw their cigarettes out! It causes wildfires in some places, people! I usually have a drink or something in the car I leave ever-so-partially unfinished and just douse it in and toss away safely after having parked my car. I seriously think people that smoke in their cars should just keep ashtrays in them or something. I didn't have any such thing and this place is down the road to Sprouts. I figured if I was going to have a cigarette outside of my car I might as well get caffeinated before my errands. I hate Starbucks but I reasoned I was just getting a simple cup of joe. Surely, they can't screw this one up for me. But they did. A simple cup of light roast joe. SMH. But seriously, boys. Gettin' fresh with a customer by lying about giving me fresh brew - shame on you. It worked out for me anyway, as I didn't have to wait longer in your establishment to try to let my coffee cool down which is why I didn't complain. Why come here when you can go to Peet's? I've always preferred the Starbucks down the street but it's always busy. This morning, I figured out why. I tried to order a custom drink that I've ordered at many Starbucks locations from Santa Monica to New York and the cashier refused to make it claiming its company policy not to. The drink is an iced vanilla latte in a trenta cup with extra ice. I really don't care what the excuses or reasons are, point is, I've gotten that particular drink everywhere else. Can you really go wrong with Starbucks. Staff is friendly and fast. At times there are lines but they move and coffee always made the way you want it and the f not they will re make it. They have many pastries to choose from and savory things as well. Coffee may be a little price depending what you order but regular coffee is about $2. Can't go wrong. read more

I really liked this Starbucks. Being on the West Coast for a week, I didn't have access to my Dunkin and this Starbucks location definitely filled my java jones.The staff here are really nice and kind and relatively fast. Most of the time, I just grabbed a coffee and hit the road but one day, m'lady and I sat and did some work in the cafe area. Nice seating area with a large table (if you can snag it) and free WIFI!! This is a tiny Starbucks, I think the only reason why I come back to here is the location. The Starbucks here is really accessible, but the inside is small and a little narrow. I haven't stayed at this location for long periods of time, but I think if I had to, I would just go to another location to chill and work. As for my drinks, I don't' have anything bad to say, other than the barista forgot my drink on my last visit, but then she remedied the problem by giving me a free drink voucher...all is well! read more

The parking at this location is horrible. It's a big lot, but it's always very congested and really hard to find parking because of all the other stores around this Starbucks. I usually avoid it but decided to stop in a couple hours ago. I ordered a tall nonfat peppermint white mocha, and it was the worst I have ever had. The coffee was totally overpowered by way too much peppermint syrup to the point where it actually left a bitter taste in my mouth. I should have gone back to complain, but I was already almost to my car and did not feel like returning. I will probably not go back to that one for a while. read more

I work for Starbucks myself and I must say the service at this location was not a good experience for me. I was served but a tallish-white woman by the name Cindy or Sidney. She wasn't wearing her apron, I had to ask for her name. She was finishing her personal conversation with the barista on bar and asked me to wait. I did, and more time passed that necessary. When she approached me to take my order she acted as though it was a bother. She proceeded to take my order and asked "how many more drinks are you ordering because we have a lot in line already" I felt that was rude to ask and the lobby only had 2 other customers in it. I was extremely dissatisfied with her service and her attitude didn't get any better when I offered my numbers for a discount. I won't be returning here. I wish all Starbucks locations were held to the same standards of service. read more
