This Starbucks location seems to be run by high school students. It has been a month ago that I went there with my granddaughter and we ordered 6 drinks and 2 were being handed to me were clearly not correct and when I said that they were not correct I was met with sighs and rolling eyes. There were many teenaged girls in the work area and when I asked one of the girls if she understood why I wanted them fixed? She responded that I was rude. I asked why am I being rude as they clearly knew what my order was because they charged me extra for the cold foam and then they did not add it. I ordered a Java chip Frappuccino with skim and no whip and what they were handling me had whip and they were loudly signing at my request to remake it. I love this new location. It just opened within the last month. They moved the Starbucks that was in the same parking lot as the frys to this location so no more near accidents from backing out of the parking spots in front of the old location. I only been in the drive through but the staff are very quick and very friendly compared to the location on anthem way. This is already a pretty busy location due it being next to the circle k and next to the highway. From the inside it looks absolutely gorgeous and modern. I always go to this location probably 3 times a week and it's ALWAYS HIT OR MISS with the coffee. Sometimes I go and the coffee is made correctly, today I went and the line was fairly long, it went by very fast but the coffee tasted like dirt, I don't want to pay 5 dollars for coffee if I'm just going to throw it in the trash. This was the last straw for me and I will not be back, very disappointing. Edit: went back the same day to get another coffee made and it tasted the exact same like DIRT!! I'm writing this review for some constructive criticism, because I want them to be better. One of my favorite things at Starbucks are their cold foam cold brew coffee's. Pumpkin is to die for, and I know Irish Cream is on the way (a friendly bird told me) and I cannot wait. Since this new drive through opened, the staff has been extremely friendly, the drive through quick, and the location very nice and clean. However, three times now, this location can't seem to make a sweet cream cold foam cold brew correctly. Or, perhaps they are making it correctly and the other locations in Anthem are making it incorrectly, but if that's the case then the correct way is not so good. What do I mean? So, every other Starbucks that has served me a sweet cream cold foam of various flavors (pumpkin, salted, vanilla, etc.) it has come out the same way. Luxurious foam on top with the sweat cream slowly and gracefully falling through the cold brew. The foam has a hint of sweetness, lasts throughout the entire beverage experience, and by the end the cold brew almost turns into a latte since it eventually mixes enough with the sweet cream cold foam. The experience is amazing, a real treat. However, each version I've received from this location has been the same. Very light foam on top with almost zero flavor, and none of that rich creaminess slowly mixing with the coffee. Three sips and 5 minutes later, the foam just fizzles away (see picture). This last time through, I actually mentioned that it looks like they keep forgetting to add the sweet cream (my opinion), however the answer I got from the friendly staff (no complaints about the staff) is that the sweet cream is in the cold foam. So, Starbucks, I don't know what is going wrong (or wrongly right) at this location. If this is the way its supposed to be served, then the drink needs some redesign. Though I likely suspect that since this is a brand-new location, the staff may just need to be taught how to make one correctly. Or go visit the sister store on Anthem Way and have them teach you to make it their way (it's amazing). Or check out the Fry's or Safeway Starbucks, all these locations make it consistently the same way, and it's delicious every time. read more

Super disappointed with all the females working today at 8:11am. 10/30/2021. I go to this location about 2-3x a week and considering I'm a health care worker I not only get myself drinks but my coworkers as well. Normally I order ahead of time but what I wanted on the app wasn't available almost as if they didn't reset it on their end, so I ordered at the window. As I made sure the expresso shot was not in the drink but on the side. Didn't think it was that big of a deal but all the other ladies seem to think it was. "Oh really you need to have your expresso on the side " or "wow really you're that extra, don't be that customer." "She needs her expresso on the side now oh okay." First of all poor customer service. I'm embarrassed for how they were behaving including the older lady at the window. You'd think you'd want to take care of your healthcare workers but instead they sit there complaining about their job. I'm just as tired as they're if not more tired so this shouldn't have been an issue. If you don't like your job simply quit. They really let me down this time and for a reoccurring customer this looks bad on the company. Hope they get it together so no one else has to experience this kind of "customer service". Can't believe management let this happen. Disappointed. Very disappointed and super childish. read more

THEY CLOSE AT 6PM NOT 7 OR 9. STOP BLAMING EMPLOYEES, THIS IS GOOGLE AND MAPS MESSING UP THEIR HOURS!!!!! Imagine giving this place a 2 star review because you don't have any consideration for the workers. I've seen plenty of people leave rude and nasty reviews because it takes so long in the drive thru. I don't think people understand the employees have to deal with customers who take forever to present payment, or they have questions about things or they're flat out being a complicated customer. I've seen the drive thru backed up for 10 minutes because of the customer, NOT the employees. They don't get paid enough to deal with the people they do. They are as busy as they are because the are right off the freeway. If you do not have the patience for a busy Starbucks, do not visit ones directly off the free way. I see plenty of people complaining about the location being closed for no reason. They have their reasons, it is not in their control. If they are unable to run the store it is going to be closed. Not only is there another location right on anthem way but there are two Starbucks locations located right in front of both grocery stores in anthem. The staff here are kind and wonderful unless you give them a reason not to be! Don't ignore them when they try to have a conversation with you, don't be nasty when ordering. Order with a smile and thank you and you'll get the best service from these lovely ladies. Kindness gets you kindness in return. If there is an issue with your order, kindly tell them and they will remake it for you and make sure it is to your liking! They are also hiring a lot of new people, you need to be considerate of time management due to training. It is not always the employees fault, so please stop putting all the blame on them. They're trying, it's not an easy job. And if you think you can do a better job, they are hiring! If they are no social with you, it's probably because your attitude has shown you have no interest in socializing. Keep in mind they could be having a rough day or deal with communication issues :) I know a few ladies I've spoken with have a hard time holding conversations due to personal issues.
