They're always very nice and the outdoor seating area is nice when you just want to get out of the car whether you're on your way through Payson or you're from Payson.. I mobile ordered here for the first time and I'm not sure if they truly understand the concept of ordering ahead. When I arrived there were 5+ cars in the drive thru. I walked up to the pickup window asking if the order was ready (I had ordered 20+ mins before I even got there) so I assumed my order would be ready. The barista stated she was going to "find my order" come to find out they continued to make every order that was in the drive thru not my order. I waited over 30+ mins for my order ahead order meaning it took 50+ mins for 4 drinks. The service was awful- when I asked to check in on my order no one was around and that joyful Dutch personality was non-existent. When my order was ready the barista just shoved my drinks at me and said here. No I'm sorry for taking 50+ mins for your order or anything along those lines. I get it may have been a busy time but it's not worth it to order ahead when I could have just sat in the drive tru line and got my drinks sooner. This one is between a Circle K gas station and an AMF bowling alley. Decent amount of parking spaces if you're planning to order at the walk up window. Plenty of benches and tables outside. The drive thru line was long but moved at a steady pace. Took about 20 minutes. You can order energy drinks, tea, cold brew, smoothies, and baked goods (limited selection). Or choose one of their classic/seasonal coffee options. Hazelnut Truffle Mocha didn't taste like coffee. The flavor was mostly milky and caramel-y, with hints of toastiness here and there, Not much chocolate or espresso coming through. Sweetness level was manageable. White Chocolate Chai Latte was definitely liquified sugar, the cinnamon overpowered everything. Been hearing good things about their Golden Eagle drink, so I'm open to trying it again. read more

I used to come here every single day. The staff was great, fast and efficient. Since the reopening this place has gone down hill so much it's not even worth it. It's awful. Staff is rude, the wait for one coffee is minimum 10 minutes if you're the first 3 cars in line- 20+ if you're car 4 or after. So we've been in AZ for 6 years now and this was our first visit to a Dutch Bros. I'll admit this one isn't in the best neighborhood, but I had a gift card and had been across the lot picking up some stuff at Stanley's, so we decided to stop by. Service was top notch, friendly, helpful, caring. The two women I chatted with at the window were excellent and could teach other fast food employees a thing or two. I am not a coffee drinker, so never really thought about going to a Dutch Bros. before but with the gift card and it being right there, i should try it out. I had looked at the menu ahead of time and knew a Freeze was probably for me. I went with the White Angel which was delicious and may be my new favorite frozen drink. I let my husband have a sip and I wasn't sure he was going to give it back. He spent the rest of the day talking about how much he wanted one. Today, the Dutch Bros walk-up window was failing hard. When I arrived, the drive thru line was wrapped around the parking lot. So I parked to stand in line with only two people ahead of me. Fast forward 10 minutes; the first customer at the front of the line is still waiting for his drink, and the second (ahead of me) hasn't given their order yet. I got back in my car, with the cool AC, and decided that the drive thru was WAY more tolerable, since the walk-up window was moving slower than molasses on a cold plate. (Note: there were about 10 cars ahead of me at that time.) The girl with the tablet that took my order in the drive thru lane was fantastic! We chatted a bit and had a few laughs- (she's the real MVP of the morning!). After receiving my coffee and driving away, I noticed that the customers who were originally behind me in the walk-up line had JUST gotten their coffee! The walk-up window was averaging two customers for just about every 10 cars in the drive thru. Not sure if the walk-up window was grinding the beans with a pencil sharpener... or what was going on. Regardless, I was thankful that I spent that wait time with my AC and the fun "drive-thru tablet" girl. Coffee is always good here, and the staff is always energetic (pretty sure they're all on extreme caffeine highs). Their smiles and friendliness never fail though. This review is for the entire chain, some stores can be good/bad, but generally it's consistent. Good coffee, certainly on par with SB, they generally have a good flavor profile. They can be insanely busy with long lines of cars. Pro-tip walking to the counter can be faster in many cases, but you will be out in weather. So I normally love Dutch Bros, but I want you all to think again before you purchase/order from them and Door Dash... Door Dash delivers for Dutch Bros, however, according to their corporate office, they aren't partnered with them.. This means, when you order coffee through door dash as I did, multiple times, and they send incorrect coffee repeatedly, you won't get any type of refund, except a fraction of what you spent through Door Dash. Anyone who goes to Dutch knows their coffee/drinks are not cheap! I reached out to Dutch Bros corporate to advise of my situation: I had ordered coffees at least 6 times, 5 out of those 6 times the coffees showed up incorrectly.
