I am not sure why there is so many negative reviews on this place. It is small, I'll give you that and the trashcan was super full, but not overflowing, but I would have to say the staff are some of the most cheerful I've seen at a Starbucks in a long time. They were actually being funny and dancing for customers while they were taking their sweet time trying to figure out what to order. We popped in to grab an almond milk latte and a Christmas blend blonde roast as well as shared some warm pumpkin bread. A delightful treat on a chilly morning. They do have some comfy bench seating, but like I said, it is a pretty small venue I'm not sure I could recommend this place to work as the music is quite loud so keep that in mind - if you didn't have to do a call it would be fine read more

I am local and remember when this Starbucks was built. I've been wanting to write this review for a long time. I've dined in at least 20+ times thru the years. The service is good (B grade). The drinks & food are standard Starbucks fare (C+ grade). But the ambiance and interior decoration is a FAILURE. Where is that cozy Starbucks feel? Ambiance ambiance ambiance. Grade F. When built it was ok (C) but when they remodeled a few years back, yuk! I base this on so many Starbucks visits in the US and some in Mexico. Awful service for mobile orders. This is the third time I haven't gotten my food when ordering ahead. The whole point of mobile ordering is to grab your food and go. Extremely frustrating when I'm waiting 10-15 minutes for food that I ordered 20 minutes beforehand. read more

What is going on with Starbucks. After ages, gave them another try this morning and were utterly disappointed. We especially told the associate taking our order, NO dairy and light caramel drizzle. When we got our beverage it had real milk and no caramel drizzle on the macchiato. So we asked for this to be remade with oat milk. It was still so bland, had no caramel drizzle or coffee taste and perhaps the worst tasting coffee beverage. This location seems they are making errors at time of taking orders and then messing things up after that too. For $6 a beverage, they need to pay more attention. Also not best place to meet somebody as it's cluttered inside and students are sitting on sofas with shoes off and doing there school work. I used to love this Starbucks. It was my favorite. And then it went downhill. The customer service just isn't the same. The lady has forgotten to give me my change twice. She just says I assumed you wanted to leave a tip... miss mam I already left a tip give me my change ... they just do not properly mix drinks anymore. 12 years since I first reviewed this Starbucks location. Just amazing. I've never lived in one place that long, but time flies. Other than being cramped in many ways this is a great location to get your caffeine fix. Whether it's a latte, frappuccino or iced tea they always get the order right, at least for me. By cramped, I mean I don't understand how everything in Arizona is packed in tighter than sardines. The parking lot is made for maybe 20 cars, but there are that many businesses. Pre-COVID the seating area was always packed making it impossible to find a place to sit. Now for the good stuff. The baristas are friendly and make you feel valued as a customer. The only thing I ask is that you don't line up out on Tatum for the drive-thru. Please just take a minute to go inside, Heck, you probably need the steps anyway. read more

Oh my goodness Starbucks! Help me understand what you are doing. The redesign of the interior is HORRIBLE. Very cold feeling and teeny tiny tables with hard tile floor and chairs that make a screeching noise every time they are moved. People are shuffling around to try and get a spot at a little table and it just gets obnoxiously loud. It was very difficult to have a conversation and enjoy the coffee with the atrocious acoustics. There are two tables outside but they are right beside the drive through which is always backed up. This location is close to me. The drive through is near desert ridge so a very convenient location. I have never had any issues with my drinks and the staff is amicable. I love that they are so dog friendly!! The only con is it is located in a narrow corner so when it gets packed you end up stuck there. read more

This particular Starbucks is one of the smaller locations. The staff is friendly and atmosphere casual. It's different to find parking since it shares a parking lot with other busy stores. There are only 3 tables for outside seating. The drive thru line is usually backed up into the parking lot. It's my least favorite location for all the reasons I mentioned. I used to love #Starbucks. Used to be focused on good #coffee and great customer service but they've turned into a oversized Corp company that doesn't care about quality. I swear something always is messed up at this location. Today half my fams #caramel #macchiatos were spilling everywhere and caramel was all over the dang cup. I used to work at Starbucks, the recipes aren't hard. Pay attention to the lines and quit overfilling the cup. The only reason why I continue to go to Starbucks is because they're on every block compared to independent coffee shops. I never do this review stuff but I was in a couple weeks ago and had very pleasant experience and thought I should write about it. My latte was great but my service at the register was even better. In particular, one very sweet lady. I can't remember her name but she had short hair and was an older lady, I believe her name started with J?? She helped me out so much with picking something that I would like, I was trying to do something different than regular coffee. She recommended my new favorite drink. Her service made me LOVE Starbucks and this location. If you are in a hurry do not go to this location! On multiple occasions, I have been in the drive through line with 2 cars in front of me, and it takes 15 minutes to get my order. The associates at this location do not know what customer services means and can't recognize regular customers. Despite service issues, my drink order is always correct. read more

This was our first time to this particular location and as the other reviews state - it was slammed both inside and in the drive-thru. Took about ten minutes to get through the line, with about six people in front of me and about eight workers behind the counter. They also don't seem to have any storage in their back room, since they had well over 20 merchandise boxes sitting around the the store and unopened. They also had a large pastry metal cart with single wrapped pastries sitting on them. The poor staff looked highly stressed and the cashier wasn't overly friendly, but wasn't rude or mean either. My drink order was correct and tasted just like it should though, and let's be honest - at the end of the day, isn't that all that you really want from your coffee? Overall: B It's a busy location with staff under pressure to get through lines and lots of seasonal merchandise to put on display. It wasn't an exceptional experience, but it wasn't bad either!
