Not impressed with Starbucks anymore. Blah service, over priced, and the thrill is gone!

Well Sports Fans,Once again I am at my Favorite Place , Starbuck's ! Why you inquire because I love their Coffee and the Ambiance and their impeccable service. Does not matter if I am at a Target Store; like I am now or a Corporate Store on 40th & E. Thunderbird ( affectionately referred to As My HQ). Fortunately they don't charge me rent? My Coffee requires 1Splenda and enough cold Almond Milk so I can enjoy my coffee as soon as it's prepared. 99.99999% of the Barista's deliver my order with a Smile. WOW, I love Starbucks . What went well was Just Another SB Moment

    Shit coffee

Ordered two specialty lattes via the drive thru. Upon being handed the cups, they felt light so I checked them once I got back home, only to find they were both around half full. At $7 per drink the bare minimum you can do is fill the damn cup up.

Parking was easy with both street and garage options available, which is always a plus. The space offers both indoor seating and a dog-friendly patio, giving it a relaxed and welcoming vibe. We ordered the Strawberry Latte and a vanilla cappuccino. Unfortunately, the Strawberry Latte was a bit disappointing since it lacked much strawberry flavor and isn't something we'd order again. The vanilla cappuccino, however, was excellent -- rich, flavorful, and served piping hot, which I personally loved. Even though one drink missed the mark, the atmosphere and the cappuccino made it worth the visit. Definitely a spot worth stopping into and trying for yourself.

The kitchen is in the middle of the shop, and with 6+ employees working there, it created a lot of noise. The matcha was okay, but pricey at $9. I also ordered the banana bread and was surprised there wasn't a banana nut option, especially for a bakery. Overall, the food and drinks were ok, but the noise level makes it unlikely I'll return when I need a place to study or have a conversation.

The only downside regarding the shrimp lettuce wraps, is that the lettuce didn't hold up very well even 10 minutes from the restaurant to our timeshare. Even though the lettuce was by itself next to the shrimp filling the lettuce wilted super fast. I do have to say the taste was on point though. Overall, their food tasted fresh, clean, and healthy. The 4 stars is simply because I could not follow the menu (although so adorable and changes monthly) and the seating inside being in very close quarters. Longer Review: Came here when they first opened and liked what they potentially would turn in to. Came back 2nd time with group of TEENS who all bought their own stuff. They really liked it but said the PRICES WERE TOO HIGH. So I drove the Group to a placed on the west side with the same quality but was more reasonable. 3rd Visit: I was treating two TWEENS by taking them some place where they could have fun spending their own money. While the two of them were chatting at the register, one of the tweens told the other she wanted something because it sounded good. The manager or team member said "you want that?", the tween said "yea". The manager/team member started making it. The two tweens came back a few minutes later with their real order. the manager or team member presented them with A BILL FOR THREE DRINKS. I informed her this is how the children talk, they just were talking and that wasn't their order. She refused to take it off the bill and forced children to choose paying the whole thing or walking out. I wasn't going to stand for it but the other tween (not the one who was taking about it originally) insisted they'd buy both their drink and the unwanted drink anyway (to try something new) even though they didn't want it. Not my kid and their parent was okay with it so whatever I guess. I didn't say anything bad but the first tween who went through the process of thinking out loud, watching the whole ordeal and how their friend handled the situation felt it was fine but also the shop manager/team member was rude and the other employees there were compliant with this poor behavior and doesn't want to go back. I never went back.

On my most recent visit, I stopped by on a Thursday. Parking tends to be busy in their complimentary lot, but you'll find a spot. Ambiance (4/5): The Sicilian Baker is connected to The Sicilian Butcher. It's a small bakery, with only a few seats. More of a grab-and-go type of spot or the source of your dessert if you're dining at the restaurant. While small, the decor and ambiance is nice. Service (3/5): A little bit of bad luck, but on my most recent visit, they were having trouble with their refrigeration so no gelato was available. While interacting with the staff, it was an average experience. I will say that the service was much better in the restaurant. Drinks (N/A): I only got dessert, but they do have coffee and a few other beverages available. Food (4/5): The Sicilian Baker is known for its cannolis, tiramisu, gelato, and lobster claws (dessert, not real lobster haha). On my most recent visit, I had a cannoli. They have your classic cannoli but also a nice variety of other fillings including pistachio, Reese's, and more. A+ for creativity, though I decided to stick with the classic. Solid.
