Been to this location twice. The first experience was okay, a bit slow but clean and friendly. Can't say the same for the second experience. The cashier had an attitude, not a morning person I assume. The service was still a bit slow but what made the experience terrible is the fact I paid $3.75 for a latte that had 1 1/2 inches of foam. I have purchased this drink several times before so I knew what to expect. And last, my coworker almost chipped her tooth when she bit into her bagel and found a piece of hard plastic inside. First off, it's neat to have a Starbucks nearby with a Drive thru. There's another Starbucks over by the corner of diamond bar and temple but no drive thru. However, I think I'll be going back to the one at Diamond bar and temple. I was in the drive thru line.. The menu is a tv so it's new and neat... I couldn't hear the attendant at all. I just kinda guess he said what I would like to order so I ordered. I usually get the very berry hibiscus. So I drove up to the window and sat there, literally, for 10 minutes. They finally decided to come out the window and give me my total, which was 5.94 or something and I'm thinking how is it so expensive?! Well, that's because they didn't punch my order into the computer. So I had to sit there for another 5-7 minutes so them to make me my drink.... The drink, was a bit watered down than most Starbucks. I don't know if I'll be stopping by here again. It is very conveniently located next to Jinza Teriyaki which is my go to lunch stop but I don't know... This Starbucks didn't give me a good impression and they just opened recently. Curious to see the inside though. read more

Yesterday I asked my coworker to stop and get Starbucks as we usually do and this is what we received. After repeating her order three times, the drinks were still made wrong. I asked for my matcha GTL no not be shaken or stirred and a venti with light ice. I got a half of cup of the drink and it was filled with bubbles. My coworker order the cloud macchiato and revived half of a cup drink as well. How careless and inconviwnr. We paid for two venti drinks and received them both wrong and half full. read more

This starbucks needs a lot to be up to par, do not let the new facility fool you. Inexperienced staff & since its close to the colleges it is a thick breeding ground for people who never leave. Drive thru is ok, but it is absolutely always busy. Inside it is super noisy, the radio is so loud the lady got my order wrong cause she couldn't hear, than she made me wait because she absolutely needed to know what day it was. I didn't mind the wait, but she got my order wrong. Then she has the audacity to tell me i didnt qualify for a special price, cause my drink wasn't festive. Stopped in to get a morning drink and what I thought would be a quick bite to eat on Sunday late morning. Place was full with students which is cool. However, I quickly noticed the I kid you not! The 35 minute wait to get one drink that they basically pour from a container and add ice to it. They only had 3 people and they were working at the speed of sloth! Then to top it off, a drink was on counter to be picked up and some girl who had no clue what it was thinking it was hers she TOOK A DRINK out of it and put it back!! That was disgusting! When I went to this Starbucks first time, I went with my two classmates. We decided to do a group work there together and there are near by our school- Cal Poly Pomona. I think this Starbucks's staff are very kind with us. Good service and there are so many seats that we don't worry about there are no seat for sitting. Pretty disappointed at my iced green tea latte. This is my usual drink at all Starbucks and today when I ordered it at this location, it seemed like they put no effort in my drink. When they handed it to me there were a bunch of big chunks of the green tea powder in my drink and it tasted like I was just drinking milk while occasionally sipping a giant chunk of powder. Wish I could have saved myself $5 and not have gotten this drink because it was NOT GOOD. Only reason why I'm giving them 3 stars is because the drive thru man was polite and did his job. Always a really long wait in the drive through. I would walk inside but there's never any parking. The food and drink service are fine. Just like any other Starbucks chain. While this Starbucks may be more aesthetically pleasing than others, it is not up to par at all when it comes to quality. I've been to this new Starbucks twice in the past week, and both experiences have been horrible. Is it because the new system makes it difficult for the barista to hear my order correctly??? I frequent Starbucks (the one on Barranca) about three times a week every week, so I know exactly what I should be getting whenever I order my drink. I always get a venti iced coffee w/ soymilk & caramel sweetener. The first time I went, I was literally the only car in the drive-thru and it took me over fifteen minutes to get my drink. I had to repeat my order at least four times, both via the drive thru speaker as well as face to face at the window. The cashier said something about how Starbucks always changes the prices of things?? and was trying to make sure I didn't get charged extra for the caramel sweetener... and it took fifteen minutes. Why not just give me my change and drink and figure out afterwards how to input it into the POS, if you already know that caramel sweetener shouldn't be an extra charge? A grande always comes out to $2.75, and a venti $3.25. Why not just charge me for that price and let me go? My second time was today. I got the same drink I always get, and instead of getting the 6 pumps of caramel sweetener I should've gotten in my venti iced coffee, I must've gotten two, if that. My drink is extremely bitter and tastes far from what I'm accustomed to. I know this Starbucks is new, but that doesn't excuse having all brand-new-to-Starbucks employees. Where are the experienced Starbucks baristas that are supposed to train these newbies? It is shocking to me that the barista today (07/24 @ 6:53 PM) couldn't get a simple iced coffee order correct, when everything else on the menu is probably far more complicated to make. read more

I ordered a cold brew and the wonderful friendly barista recommended I put toffee nut to make it taste better and she was right! I am a frequent Starbucks goer and this particular Starbucks takes forever and almost always gets my drink wrong. I really like this new Starbucks location. The staff is friendly and eager to check on items that frequently sell out early. I've run into an occasional slow situation, but the customer ahead of me was incredibly difficult to the staff, yet the staff accepted it with stride and apologized for the wait. I wanted to apologize for humanity. LOL The only gripe came tonight. Why do businesses feel they must make a distinction of our gender? Who wants to be called Ma'am? Better or worse, tonight I was called "Miss", yes, I am a guy! So I have a high voice, do you think a man wants to be called "Miss"? "Have a good evening" or "thank you for letting us serve you" would be a perfect statement. You don't need to determine if I am male or female. Just treat me like a human. Ridiculous.. First of all I have never been to a worse functioning Starbucks in my life. I waited obnoxiously long for my drink to come out and there were 3 people working there. Finally when the drink came out as I was walking to the counter and another customer mistakenly took it and took a sip and realized it wasn't his. He then preceded back to the counter and gave it to the barista telling him he took the wrong drink in which the barista looked at me because he knew it was mine. Now brace yourself what happens next is unheard of. The barista asks me "do you still want it?" AFTER ANOTHER CUSTOMER TOOK A SIP FROM IT. What kind of customer service etiquette is this? You clearly have had no training. Will not be visiting this place again. read more

Convenient location, store sucks. I'm not typically one to complain. I realize they are a new store but too many errors. Went through this morning. Ordered a simple latte with soy. Yes there was a modified request but I got my drink this morning with regular milk. Didn't call back or complain once I noticed just took it as a loss. Went back this evening to order drinks before work. The girl on the head set answer laughing and having a conversation with another person. Told her I had a big order (5 drinks) and she began repeating what I said without actually punching the order on the screen so she had to ask me to repeat my drinks multiple times. Let me start by saying that I always try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. But this Starbucks really lacks customer service. On top of the fact that once I received my drink it tasted horrible. I ordered a mocha frapuchino and it tasted nothing like mocha. The girl who helped us had a terrible attitude . I come here almost every morning and never have a problem. Even with how early I come, the baristas are always happy and greet me. My drink always tastes good too. Has a lot more space in order to study and even a drive thru when I'm in on the run! Will definitely keep this as my go to Starbucks. read more
