I have mixed feelings about this location. I usually go through the drive through. Sometime I get average customer service and other times I get excellent customer service. Today the lady making my drink was complaining so obviously and loudly about either customers or other coworkers that it was fairly awkward for me to wait for my drink. Thankfully, that's not the norm but I would say consistency in customer service is a big issue here. read more

Had the worst Starbucks experience this morning. Put in a mobile order that was suppose to be ready in 6 mins. Got there and my order wasn't ready..apparently they didn't notice the mobile orders that were coming through. I had to ask and the girl working at first told me no mobile order had been made, showed her my phone and magically it was found. Then the girl who made my drink spilled the milk while pouring it into my cup, instead of cleaning up nicely before handing it to me, she hands it to me dripping with milk on the side. No apology for the delay or inconvenience was ever given...so disappointed and I come to this Starbucks often too...smh read more

This place has consistently good service. One time, I accidently left the house without my purse, and I didn't realize it until I was stuck in the drive through with other customers already behind me. The girl immediately offered to give me a drink even though I had no money. And another time they gave me a coupon for another drink because the line was long. The people who work here are very friendly, and they've never messed up an order. I've gotten into a (very bad) habit of going through the drive through almost every day now, whether it's on my way to work or just taking the dogs for a car ride. And I do have to say, there is a Starbucks two doors down from where I work, and one right across the street from where I live. I still prefer to make the drive down to this one where I know I'll get great service. read more

This used to be a great Starbucks. Not sure what happened. The final straw was just yesterday. Order my regular and it took 10 minutes when there was only one car in front if me at 545 am. WTH! I then was handed an iced coffee. When I told the cashier that I ordered hot she rolled her eyes and clomped away. Instead of making me a new one she poured the iced coffee into another cup and added warm coffee. She took her time doing it. I am a regular at Starbucks all over. I know how hot my drink is suppose to be. I was PO. But had to get to work. This isn't the first time I have had bad service. Seems like a new face every time I go there which was at least once a week. Think I will stay away from this place for awhile. read more

Wonderful customer service today! Young, sweet, blonde girl was so so wonderful when I got to the window and asked her to modify my drink! (I'm usually afraid to even ask) She smiled, said "of course", and returned with a smile on her face still! Normally, you get an eye roll & a frustrated barista, but not this awesome girl! This starbucks too me this is one of the better Starbucks in Poway. Yes they do get drink orders wrong but if you go there enough like we do. You would know they always have different people and new people training. So we don't get too upset when our order is wrong or the place is slow. Especially since it's one of the more popular Starbucks because of the drive thru. Usually they let you keep the messed up drink or a coupon for a free drink on your next visit. Never had anyone with a bad attitude. Last time we went we actually liked the person at the window so much we actually tipped for the first time. read more

I come here strictly for their drive thru service since im a lazy coffee drinker. Sometimes the service is great and sometimes it's just plain horrible. I find that when it's the men working, they just don't really give a damn about you. I never get the eyebrow when I ask for a stirrer, but once in awhile this same particular guy with the grumpy attitude. read more

This Starbucks has good service but the store inside is a little small. The outdoor area is super small, just a couple of tables right next to parking lot. If I come here, I rarely sit outside because you're right next to the cars pulling in and out, which makes it hard to study. read more

The service has changed. The associates are rude. Every time I order a drink with "light ice" I get 1-2 ice cubes. Like wtf?! For example I'll get the Carmel espresso granita. Light ice. They slushed up 1 cube put in 1/2 cup or Carmel on the bottom. Whatever drink I get they have to be catty and alter my drink to an extreme. Worst 'everything' bagel ever, has cheese...really, and poppy seeds, nothing else, disgusting. And the SB cream cheese tastes like nothing. The evolution OJ cost me $4. really? Starbucks not only this one need to change their recipes. Venti Hot expresso drinks have the same amount of espresso as a Grande! The only difference is the amount of milk that they put in it. So they are charging you more for some extra milk and the drink no longer taste strong! They really need to change this! But for now go with a Grande. read more

I would give all the Starbucks a 0. Look at their expresso drinks. You are paying more for their expresso drinks. The hot Venti drinks only have 2 shots of expresso the same as a grande. I ordered coffee beans, oatmeal and a cup of coffee. My coffee and oatmeal were forgotten about. After waiting a few minutes I went back in line to ask. Apologies given by the young red headish girl. I think Starbucks in general needs a better system for serving oatmeal. This is not the first time. It seems like the cashier waits for someone else to give the oatmeal but it is often forgotten about. read more

I'm daily customer to Starbucks. I work up in the area where this one is located and it's a night and day experience to the one I go to back at home. Anytime I've walked into this location I've never been greeted. Which I usually don't really care, today I went through the drive through and got back to my work and took a sip of my drink. Dirty chai with one add shot. It was so watered down. I get this drink all the time at different locations but has never tasted like this. I had to go back to have it remade. I went in and they weren't very happy with having to remake it. I actually am the one who said I'm sorry but I can't drink this. Nothing on the employees part. Once my drink was ready I said thank you so much, the barista looked me straight In the eyes and didn't say anything back . (Sam). Then I didn't see writing on the cup so I asked to make sure they put an add shot and she said yes and rolled her eyes. Never have had an experience at a Starbucks but I'll have to start waking up earlier and going to the one by my house. Ps they remade it and tasted like water again. The service tends to be great, and the people there can be friendly. There is a lot of shit talking going on about customers over the headsets and sometimes even on the floor. I blame the manager Ashley! She is horrible and aggressive, it's a wonder to me how she has kept her job for so long she seriously needs to change her attitude or be fired! Oh the horror stories I have heard. Favoritism is her strong point however, if you're her friend you can be sure to get preferential treatment. You'll get promoted even when you aren't good at what you do, and if she doesn't like you she makes you do the grunt work and always yells at you. She may even threaten your job. It's no wonder she is losing so many regulars and long time employees. She's a bitch enough said! I did however love Jennifer, she was an amazing assistant manager. Maybe corporate should fire Ashley and have Jennifer take over her store. More and more people would stay, and the business and atmosphere would be less hostile. Ashley NEEDS TO GO!!!! read more
