Loved being greeted with a sample of their whiskey barrel age cold brew, it was delicious. The location is so beautiful and so much space to enjoy the food and drinks. Sat at the Arriviamo bar and had a seasonal flight, which was phenomenal.

This place is absolutely cool and such a great spot to hang out. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and everything from the pastries to the coffee is top quality. The whiskey barrel-aged cold brew was especially delicious it's definitely a must-try! There has been times they even had live music. One of the coolest parts is getting to see how they roast their beans and they walk you through the process. Highly recommend if you're around!

It's like a Starbucks cranked up to the max. There is a lot of seating so good to chill with your friends with a lot of good food and drinks to choose from and a few areas of which to do it. There are sweet pastries and savory bites and unique coffee drinks to this location. First, we tried the caramel mocha drizzle affogato which was the perfect little sweet treat and a decent size for sharing with a blend of coffee flavor with creamy ice cream and a blend of sauces on top. To go, we got a pastry I hadn't heard of before - the demerara kouign-amann which was a sugar, crispy on top, soft pastry. It definitely had some great options beyond your usual SB fare. There was also a coffee sample available when I went and some blends only found at that location, so we picked up a bag to go (other merchandise was available too). This is more than your ordinary Starbucks you've been to before. Definitely worth a try just for its uniqueness.

This place has been on my list for quite some time to visit. I can't quite put my finger on it but something felt off. The entire place felt somewhat performative and not authentic! The entire time inside I did not smell one ounce of coffee roasting even though the staff led with this guise that you could get the best cup of coffee in the world here freshly brewed. The staff were knowledgable and enthusiastic as a way to draw in customers and tourists. I'll give them that. They have a large selection of pastries and sandwiches. I tried the raspberry cheesecake ($12.50) and it was stale. On top of that, I could barely taste the flavor. Most of the other treats looked a bit stale as well. Nothing had that sense of freshness to me and service was painfully slowwwww. I will say that the space however is incredible. The bar upstairs is cool and so is the entire layout of the store. However to me it just felt like a regular Starbucks in a fancy glass case.

Woah... this was a next level barista experience. Brilliant way to show how the coffee is made, such a beautiful design for the store, and the menu has secret items!

Very nice Starbucks and comfortable... got the CARAMEL MOCHA DRIZZLE AFFOGATO & ice Ube coconut latter ... the affogato was good But the Ube coconut latte was ok not bad

The ambiance of this location is amazing and easy to navigate with no issues. Upon entering we are greeted with the nice gentleman who is welcoming and friendly. The service downstair is excellent and friendly with the staff as they are very nice and polite. My biggest disappointment was in the merch area. I asked the staff for a medium size reserve sweater and I was told that she needed to complete her inventory and then will bring the items back in. She could have just grab my item out of the storage to hand it to me but instead she had me wait until she finishes her inventory and she acted that they didn't bring my requested item in where she was the only one doing the merch count on the floor. This location needs to revamp the customer service team. There are definitely have rooms for improvement.

Elevated Coffee break experience ... When I walked into this coffee shop, it took me away, it felt like a chill club bar feel meets coffee court meets merch for Starbucks. It was cool. I definitely would order an upgraded coffee and also stick around for awhile, sadly it was crowded, no seats were available. Started to look at the design and furnishings to see how I can integrate ideas for my apartment to enjoy a cup of coffee vibe. Again, pricey drinks, but you're paying for the setting.

It gets pretty crowded at times, so it's best to come during early morning. We were lucky enough to catch it on a snowy day where we could get some nice seats. They have really nice restrooms downstairs and pastries and food you can order as well. Sometimes they have really good creative drinks, but this time around, we didn't see anything that caught our eye. My husband and I opted for a mocha latte. My brother got the whiskey barrel aged cold brew and it was pretty good. My cousin got a coffee flight and it came with a generous portion of each brew.

Yelp Review 2025 #257: I love visiting Starbucks Reserve Roastery in every city that has it. My favorite so far is the one in Tokyo which has 4 floors. The New York location is in the Meatpacking District and has 3 floors: 1st floor: the entrance with merch such as totes, shirts, mugs, water bottles, mints, magnets, beanies, caps, chocolate, and coffee making supplies. Cafe with a few tables and chairs. Top floor: bar and more tables and chairs. Bottom floor: cafe with more tables and chairs. It's more quiet here. COFFEE HAZELNUT BRIOCHE: Coffee-infused brioche, hazelnut cream, coffee hazelnut glaze, caramel hazelnuts. In theory, should be great because the description seemed fantastic but it's dry, dense and super sweet. 2/5 TIRAMISU LATTE: Made with 70% cacao dark chocolate, espresso, steamed milk, tiramisu cold foam, dusted with dark chocolate mocha powder. Pleasant and balanced with bitter and sweet flavors. 4/5 DARK CHOCOLATE MOCHA: Made with 70% cacao dark chocolate, espresso, steamed milk. There's a piece of chocolate melting at the bottom of the mug so, savor this drink slowly. 4/5 They have pastries, doughnuts, cookies, tarts, galettes, savory food such as avocado toast, sandwiches, pizza, hash brown egg cup, etc. The interior is pretty cool and spacious. Check out the bathroom.

Visited the SB Roastery three time on our recent visit to NYC. My favorite drink was the tiramisu cappuccino. It's giving Italian café. Lines were a little long, but that's expected here!

Great experience here today!!! I've been to the reserve in Chicago and the one in NYC was just as awesome of an experience. Some drinks are the same classic ones we loved previously: the whiskey cold brew for example. Some are new and city fab, like the matcha margarita! Loved the seasonal espresso tini flight too!!!! I got the holiday version and the OG. My favorites were the mole chocolate one and the peppermint mocha one!!! Service was a bit slow. And the 2nd floor reserve tasting room (alc offered) didn't open on time, we were still able to order at the tasting room (lower level) so our experience was still very enjoyable.

    Bourbon and coffee? Yes please
    Tom R.

Had to drop by this Starbucks Reserve Roastery during my NYC visit. There are only five in the world presently and just two in the U.S. My wife and daughter are huge coffee lovers and would have disowned me if I didn't stop in, take photos, and pick up a few gifts during my guy's trip. This place is Starbucks on steroids! Four floors, striking design everywhere you look, and great service with dedicated staff who walk around to make sure everything is just right. The upstairs area is 21+ with top tier cocktails, including an impressive lineup of espresso martinis. As a bourbon fan, I had to try their bourbon barrel aged coffee. Outstanding. Smooth, rich, and full of flavor. The food is also kicked up several notches here, with far more options than a standard Starbucks. As a savory guy, I really appreciated the wide range of non-sweet items. A great experience and absolutely worth a visit for any coffee lover, especially since you can only find a place like this in a handful of locations across the world.

I've ordered an array of different beverages and today I got the Honey Lavender Latte. Highly recommended!! They were out of oat milk so I substituted with whole milk. Not a problem for me but might be an issue for people who don't drink regular milk. Not only did the drink look beautiful (the barista drew a latte art leaf), it was also so so good that when I finished it I wished I had gotten two lol. The coffee is a little bit pricy but they do a good job. The baristas are usually very helpful. Sometimes the service isn't the speediest but I think it's because they are taking time to craft a high quality beverage. There's a bench available for sitting and waiting but it's not really a sit down and sip on your beverage coffee shop, more of an order to go spot. I've been pretty happy with my experiences here and will continue to be a regular at this location.

There is some outdoor seating but this is mostly a grab & go type of spot. You order on the kiosk which is a bit impersonal but at the same time, I didn't mind since it allowed me to take a better look at everything they offered before deciding. I got a Regular Iced Latte w Rose Syrup which was actually made so well! The espresso was bold & balanced, the rose gave it that nice sweetness, and it was creamy from the milk. The Regular Iced Matcha Komorebi Latte w Honey on the other hand did not come together as cohesively. The matcha felt powdery and the honey wasn't a good move here. It would've worked if they warmed up the honey a bit so the flavors would blossom into the matcha. Some sips were overly sweet while others not at all, and it just fell flat. Good try but I would stick to their espresso-based drinks next time! PS, love the cup design!
