Located on Van Buren Blvd & Wood Rd in a small shopping center. I went during rush hour so it was a bit hectic with parking and street traffic. This is a smaller location but has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. No drive-thru. Today, I ordered an 'Iced White Chocolate Mocha'...it was made perfectly and super fast regardless of how busy it was. Service was ok. Some of your employees should be retrained in customer service. This isn't my normal Starbucks but I stop here on occasion and every time it's the same issues with the attitude and snarky remarks. I ordered a simple vanilla sweet cream cold brew and added cold foam on top. They handed me a black cold brew with cold foam on top which is not right. I tried to get her attention multiple times but she continues talking with her coworker like I'm not there. When I asked if they could just add a splash of cream it was like I had asked to have the whole drink remade. She tells me it doesn't come with cream (which it does) and I get this drink every day so I think I know what it is supposed to look and taste like. read more

The cashier Megan was so rude. I'm literally in the store right now writing this review because I'm shocked at her service. For reference me and my husband are Hispanic and we're waiting for a while for her to attend us. She had a very snobby attitude and didn't even look up at us. And pretty much dismissed us. The next people in line were white and she was smiling at them and said hi welcome and did a total 180 attitude change. This location is already inconvenient since it has no drive way but I'll definitely make sure not to come back here. Also don't know if she intentionally gave us our drinks after the 2 other parties but all we got were refreshers and they took 12 mins to hand them out and the people who ordered after us got they're drinks like 2-5 mins after ordering. Starbucks morning are always busy....understandable. Drive-Thru was 20 cars deep so I went inside. 1 person ordering and 1 person waiting. Thinking quick right? Nope. All 20 cars plus 5 more went though before I got my coffee. I saw the the #20 car go though....recognized the sticker. Waiting 20 mins when only 2 people in front of me. Hi my name is Rick and I frequent this Starbucks for my coffee needs. I've been to many other locations, but this one is the best. Every time I purchase from this place my drinks are amazing! I've visited other spots where the drink flavors were inconsistent, which is a bummer because of the cost. I also want to compliment the amazing staff. They are so lively and kind. Update: I will never be returning to this store, the 3 drinks I ordered got each and everyone sick. I pray for you guys because of how sick I was. What happened to customer service? Everyday when I walk in no on welcomes me or even makes eye contact. I normally do the mobile app and have to stand there for a minute before I feel awkward so I make eye contact with staff. I work next door and I went to the counter to order. Another customer was on the side so I stood in front of the counter for 5 minutes. 7 workers and no one can take orders or greet customers! Wow, so finally the barista greets me, yet at the same time the customer next to me starts talking so she takes her order. Customers plus the staff are rude but that's not even the worse part. I ordered 2 chi teas with different espresso shots. The barista puts the drinks down and just walks away. 10 min later I see no one else in sight so I ask if they are my drinks. No name no nothing, the girl says those are yours, I ask which is which. They had to remake them and she wrote on the top of the lid with a permanent marker. Wood Road & Van Buren location is like home to me and my family. We have been customers since it open. There were times when I had to ask to have my coffee made over because it was not done right and when that happens it's always when a new person is in training, that I do understand. Overall we enjoy the employees as well as the regular customers. One of the employees that has waited on us from day one is Blanca. She knows how to make our coffees at all times. Just passing by this sorry Starbucks in the afternoon. Parking is a bit spotty given it's a small plaza. Bathrooms don't even have paper towels... not that they ran out - they didn't bother installing one. I get the vibe that this store is pretty fresh the staff seem to be a bit oblivious where things are plus being all loud chatting with each other like a middle school hallway. Business is slow and they have 6 employees staffed yet you still have to wait on liquid drinks because 4 of them are in the back doing God knows what while one in the front is doing inventory and one more doing all the drinks... Usually love this place and have always greeted with friendly workers. Today i politely told the barista that the last three times I've ordered an Ice Matcha it's had so much ice in it that I'd get barley any drink. She was polite and said she'd make me a tall with no ice to add to my drink. Great solution. No problem. Until from what i think was the manager, came up in a defensive way questioning me in a rude way and demanding me to give him my drink and told me i need to order it different as it was my fault as he acted like a snob and walked away as i was talking. Let me preface this by saying..There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with having fun at work, BUT PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR CUSTOMERS! This is the second time I ordered something and they didn't get it right even though it clearly stated the correct drink on the sticker (I ordered a iced psl late, it clearly stated that on the cup) but they gave me a cold brew. Its not rocket science its as simple as reading the cup. I wouldn't have been that annoyed if they didnt have a LONG chit chat with the person in front of us as if we were invisible. This is my local Starbucks! I come here at least 4-5 days a week for my large cup of coffee (I really hate how they name their sizes and can never remember which size is which so I just say small, medium and large). I don't really order any of their fancy coffees, pastries or sandwiches. In my opinion, they are just too expensive for what you get. I love the Pike Place blend and Verona with no room for cream. I always order coffee the way I like my women: strong, dark and bitter (J/K, lol). Many people think that the coffee is too strong here but, a wise man once told me: "There's no such thing as strong coffee, just weak people..." This place keeps me functional on work days so I have to give them 5 stars. All the workers are super friendly and always greet me with a smile. They get my drink order right every time and there's never more than a five minute wait. I was out here for a funeral and my friend wanted some oatmeal so we popped in here. There was a long line and the place was packed! That's always a good sign. We had ordered drinks at the Juice It Up next door, which were totally delicious but my friend bought a grilled cheese sandwich instead. That sandwich was perfect. She pulled it apart and the cheese oozes out and the bread perfectly toasted. Can you say yum? All of the pastries looked delish and they had a variety of oatmeals. It was a nice place as well. A gentleman walked up to the pick up counter and said excuse me to one of the baristas and she turned around and said "what?" Meh! This has to be the least friendliest staff in had the pleasure of interacting with at a Starbucks. It seemed as if none of the employees wanted to be there or enjoy their jobs. I felt as if I was an inconvenience for asking for a stopper for one of my two coffees (was only provided one originally). I can kind of see why the employees seem checked out though. The clientele there seemed more entitled then those I've seen at other locations and there were lots of high school kids in there. The entire experience at this starbucks was extremely offsetting. The woman at the register that had helped my friend and I was rude from the jump. She appeared to be new, which is no problem, and had a bit of trouble putting in the order. We were more than understanding, however she responded very poorly to our requests. When she was unable to hear she would ask us to repeat ourselves very rudely. Additionally, we were given the wrong size drink and a customization was incorrect. I typically don't mind these errors, however the hostile environment made me uncomfortable asking for the drink to be fixed. Will not be coming back here.
