I've been coming to this Starbucks location quite often, but unfortunately, the customer service has been consistently disappointing. The employees have been very rude and unfriendly, and the overall experience feels very unwelcoming. On top of that, the drive-thru has been extremely slow, even when there doesn't seem to be a large line. I understand that things can get busy, but the attitude from some of the employees combined with the long wait times has made me reconsider coming to this location. I hope management can address these issues and improve both the customer service and drive-thru efficiency. read more

I've been going to this Starbucks since they opened since I lived in the area. I remember them being ok and going downhill. Came today - still the same issues. Takes so long for a drink, disorganized, crowded, new employees don't know how to make the drinks and the customers are NUTS! Will NOT be coming back. Ordered a brown sugar shaken espresso, barista said maybe they forgot the milk. But my coffee was almost black, usually it's a creamy color. Would recommend coming to any other location. read more

It's time to update after living here for 5 years. This is my home SB. The service is mildly better but they still don't know me even though i come at the same time EVERY weekend. Seems like an ever-changing staff. Hit or miss on service and quality. There is one gal that looks miserable constantly and if I ask for anything like can you check the status of my order she seems annoyed. The product displays are not great, somewhat empty and coffee bean selection is minimal compared to other locations. They opened a new one up the street that has way friendlier service. It did seem to alleviate the traffic in this one. read more

If I could give ZERO stars to my review, I would. Today, at this Starbucks location I was charged almost 3 dollars to use the restroom. It felt disgusting. I had walked in after cutting tip of my finger on a piece of postcard paper and asked to use the restroom. The answer I was given was "the restrooms are for paying customers only, would you like me to ring you up for something" as my finger starts to trickle down with blood. I honestly was taken back . I couldn't believe what I was hearing. So I kept my mouth shut and paid for the bottle of water I was forced to buy so I can use the restroom. SMDH. KEEP IN MIND- I've spent at least a few thousand dollars at this location. I just graduated from UTI college less than 1/8th of a mile down & on the same street. For 10 months I would get Starbucks every morning at this location. (I understand that this lady obviously did not know me ) normally I would come in during the morning and today I was in the afternoon. The entire morning crew knew me by first name - But that is beside the point! I am just astonished that this employee would rather have someone bleeding at the front counter while being forced to purchase something rather than just let me use the restroom really quick. HONESTLY- I shouldn't have even asked because the restroom did not even have a lock on it. I was trying to be polite by asking. It couldn't have been any more obvious that I had just cut my finger as I was walking into the store and just needed to use the restroom really quick. Also I'm not going to argue with somebody in public - again going back to me "trying to be polite" side of things - After I purchased the water this demon lady had the audacity to look at me and say " thank you for understanding" . It felt gross. What would you have done in this situation? Would you have brought to her attention that you have literally spent at least a couple thousand dollars at this location? Also keep in mind that I am not homeless and I am pretty clean cut looking person. So it's not like it was obvious that I had any types of bad intentions while inside using the restroom.(or even questionable!) But it was obvious that I was literally bleeding- At the register, in front of employees and any customers that may have been behind me. This is a nicer area too. Anyway. This is the last time I'll ever go back here or to any Starbucks for that matter. People should be supporting local businesses anyway. Who am I kidding - the food has been always over priced and undercooked anyway. The amount of times they've gotten my order wrong in the past is laughable. In hindsight I feel like I earned this horrible because nice guys do finish last and this is the day and age where decency has been forgotten. ZERO STARS thanks to the older lady em who would rather me pull out my wallet while bleeding in front of others than let me use the unlocked bathroom. This place unfortunately is pure chaos. Had my order stolen not one, not 2 but 3 times. Sigh. There should be a better system for this place. I've been coming to this Starbucks about every Friday since 2016. Using my Mobil app. I ordered two coffees for almost $15 without ice and when I got there they were just over half full. I asked the barista if something was missing from the drinks and he said no, it's their policy not to fill the drinks up all the way when they are ordered without ice. I talked to the manager who confirmed the policy and offered to ring me up at the register for additional milk to add to my $15 worth of coffees. I won't be going back. Today was my second time going to this particular location. There are many Starbucks in Natomas and I usually go to the one by Cal fit. This is my second time coming here and the second time my drink has tasted like nothing. I ordered a peppermint mocha, and there is no hint of peppermint in my drink. This location sucks if you are wanting your morning joe...Monday-Friday mornings are the most busiest. Always people waiting for several minutes and if you think mobile orders will be faster, think again! Note, whatever mobile order pick time is "estimated" for you be sure to add 10 more minutes to it and that's when it'll be ready. Oh and most breakfast sandwiches aren't in stock. I have been to this Starbucks several times and I have had a handful of great and not so great service. This particular time, about a month ago. I placed a mobile order and I went inside to grab it and the barista ignored me several times... three people walked up and he ask their name for their order, however, he didn't even acknowledge me. I had to get his attention and ask about my order. To be honest I felt discriminated. I have never felt so like this at any Starbucks with the exception of this place. This SB is a very busy one at the Bel Air Center on Arena Blvd. The staff is usually always friendly. One of the better SB's at that. Since it faces the road the sun hits it hard so you get some warmth and it is nice in the Spring and Fall but Summer you can feel that heat even with the blinds pulled. Never a problem with service here. Just busy most of the time so not the best if you are in a hurry. Seating is good and along the sides. Parking is sometimes hard when packed during busy times. read more

Time and time again i've been let down by this location. I use The Starbucks app to order ahead and each time I've used this location the wait for mobile order is astronomical (30 min or more for basic Starbucks coffee that was mobile ordered? Come on now!). Not sure if it's their system but no other Starbucks locations take as long as they do when they have 4 to 6 people behind the bar. The customer service isn't any better, they all have an "oh well" attitude like as if it's the customers problem why they're inundated. If you have all the time and patience in the world and don't mind waiting then bless your heart but if you're in a hurry or if it's before 8am mon-fri just keep on moving to another Starbucks or coffee shop nearby, there's plenty of others to choose from in the area read more

I can't believe I haven't reviewed my local Starbucks. Moving to Natomas has been a change both good and different, but coffee is a big change with Starbucks remaining the best option in the area. All the Natomas Starbucks lack drive through options, and parking is rather tight since they share spaces with neighboring businesses. Pre COVID, this location was popular for hanging out in the hood with people inside and outside drinking caffeine. The inside is upgraded Starbucks with a bar for online orders which can be frustrating to squeeze in between seated guests. They also upgraded to unisex bathrooms instead of gendered options. Post COVID, this location is online only. You must order online for takeout. This is the temporary solution as we adjust to the virus. It is nice to see the location open since Natomas has been on Starbucks lockdown for a long time. Prepare for some delays and confusion as we adapt. This is a weird time. Hopefully it will be short. In case it isn't, the Arena Starbucks will still provide a little comfort and stability in a time lacking both. This location suffers from a lack of a drive thru and tough parking, but it is a Starbucks. read more

I discovered this place because the boyfriend wanted to come here. I've lived in natomas for two months now and have never seen this place! It's right off the freeway on Arena blvd. Although this Starbucks is small, I like it because of how it's set up. There's lots of natural lighting that comes in through the window which makes the place very well lit. There isn't too much seating available: two lounge chairs, one community table, three smaller tables, one high chair table, and the bar seating. If you're looking to get some studying done, there is one outlet by the high chair table in the corner and two outlets behind the community table. Your best bet for an available outlet is at the bar area seating! There's a whole strip of outlets right underneath. Make sure to bring your extension cord if you plan to sit at the community table. Service was a little slow. But the girl was new. So no stars docked there. Minus one star because I ordered a strawberry acai refresher with coconut milk and she forgot the strawberries. Other than that, very good service. Everyone was friendly and this place was very clean as well. Will definitely come back! read more

This location was super busy at around 5:30 pm at my arrival. There were only two people working and about ten people waiting for beverages. They acknowledged everyone entering and gave updates to pending order requests. It's nice to see people waiting patiently while few workers work hard to properly prepare orders all while proving excellent customer service.
