I typically place my order ahead of time and pick it up in the drive-thru window, but they're always efficient and my orders have always been consistent. There isn't a lot to complain about at chains like this except wrong orders or drink/food temperature. That was my disappointment today: cold, brewed coffee. I know what the cause is: it's cold half-n-half; pIus it was overfilled. sometimes I ask for steamed cream. Depending on the location, they try to charge for a breve or something else that isn't just brewed coffee with half-n-half. Sometimes I ask them to please put the half-n-half in first, so the coffee isn't cooled down. This should be a given--not just for this location or this chain but for ALL coffee shops. Nobody wants a cold cup of brewed coffee; otherwise they would order an iced beverage. By the time I sipped my coffee, I was down the road with my cold hot brew--too late to take it back. read more

Whoever was working last night gave the worst service I've ever had at a Starbucks. Walked in to briefly look at the cups they had on sale. I finally walked to the register to order drinks for my family. I was ignored for almost 5 minutes, as I noticed staff saw me a couple of times and opted not to approach me. BEST PLACE EVER I LOVE CASSIE it was my brothers birthday and we walked in five minutes before close (we felt bad) and he wanted a muffin and Cassie, the light of this earth, gave us TWO. So I pre ordered through the app for my family before church. On one of the drinks I forgot to add soft top. We politely asked the young man at the window if it can be added & we will pay for it. Mind you soft top added on a drink is what 1.25 or something close in that range. The kind young man adds it and we paid for it. This rude young lady comes to the window maybe the manager I'm guessing on this day (1/19/25 around 9:45am) says "next time add the soft top on the drink or I'm charging you for a $5.00 drink just for the soft top" my husband and I say but we're paying for it so what does it matter. Lady had a major attitude about some soft top that a customer is paying for. Even my kids who are grown said yeah she was rude & unnecessary because again we didn't ask for nothing free. Who knows maybe she woke up on the wrong side of the bed on a lovely Sunday morning but what I will say is don't ever threaten a customer that they will pay $5.00 plus tax for a full drink when they missed 1.25 of adding soft top or anything else that may only be $1.00 something. A simple mistake that we said sorry to the young man & he was kind of enough to help. Unlike your customer service at a negative was not needed at all! My husband asked me if I was sure I wanted starbucks and not another local coffee shop Beans & Brews. This Starbucks is pretty much like the others. The menu though did seem smaller than some. Maybe that's just a misconception on my part. Met a friend here and we weren't sure till what time it would be open, being Christmas Eve. We asked and they needed to check, since their hours board said 6:00 pm, and we had gotten there around 5:15. Turns out they were open until 7:00 pm. So we had some quality time to enjoy our coffees. One thing that took away from the otherwise good experience was the female employee who was cleaning the floors and dragging the chairs across the floor to clean. The sound was so annoying (and loud!) and did not need to be made. I'm hoping employees might be instructed to lift the chairs instead of dragging them. From the outside they make look clean but step behind that counter and you will see the multiple health code violations. From these pictures there's rat traps, fruit flies in the chocolate malt powder, a fly in a protein box and a fly in a tea pitcher. This store is also ran very poorly. The store manager Lauren treats her employees awful and talks down on them she has also said multiple times to us "cleaning inst a priority."I would consider visiting a different location. read more

Called our names and only one of two were made. we asked about the second one and we're first ignored then snapped at by the girl making coffee. very rude and abrupt "yeah I'm still working on it" then she gave us the wrong size and continued being extremely rude and ultimately both were wrong. Worst drive-through experience ever! Not sure if you can tell who was the cashier/ lady working the window with my receipt. My dad was driving and I guess because he looks "Mexican"? So where do I begin? For starters the staff at this location are beyond nice. These people are kind, enthusiastic people who just have the right stuff to work with the public. I generally don't like small talk but the baristas here just are so friendly I find myself making conversation without realizing it. A fair amount of the baristas know my order by heart and notice when I decided to change it up that day. Pairing hardwork and good social skills seems to be a rarity these days in food service but this location has it in abundance. Keep doing what you guys are doing! This location has been getting very busy lately and they are truly doing their best! I went today and accidentally forgot to say I wanted my americano iced instead of hot, I would've just taken the hot one since it was definitely my fault. The Triple Mocha Frappuccino is my new favorite cold drink! It tastes like a cross between a melted tootsie roll and Hershey's syrup. This is one of the newest Starbucks in SA. I like the location because it is easy on and off to Loop 1604 at Shaenfield Road. When I order using the Starbucks app, this store always has it ready quickly. This place has a lot of wrinkles to iron out, It seems like no one cares, and it is visible because the same packages have been in front of the merchandise the last couple of times we have been. We have had 3 orders messed up, on all occasions. And mind you, these are simple orders, no alterations or substitutes to the drinks. This location does not deserve one star. In the last 3 weeks I have been there before 9am and no one is providing any service. Today was the third time I have gone to this location, lights are on, there is no sign anywhere indicating any issues. The line of cars in the drive thru are all waiting until they get frustrated and move on. So you wait 20-30 minutes to get to the front and realize no one is there. Not sure what is happening but with no communication from this location you run the risk of wasting 30 minutes for no service.
