3.5 stars. True story: I used to frequent this Starbucks at the Bayhill Shopping Center in San Bruno many years ago (Why wouldn't I? It's close to home, has a lot with ample parking and is neighbours to several establishments that I regularly visit.)...until they upset. Due to reporting horrible service rendered by them, I received from the corporate office a few free beverage coupons. The vouchers were mailed to me with a letter of apology, dated March 15, 2013. Because I was so turned off by Starbucks' customer service, I never bothered to use my drink coupons for years. On October 20, 2018, at approximately 10:30 AM, I finally decided to give this location the opportunity to redeem itself by ordering a drink and finally using one of the vouchers. The team member at the register asked his Shift Lead, Roni Sargent, for assistance with the transaction. I had noticed Roni earlier, while I was still waiting in line. She was covered with tattoos that were exposed and visible to customers and she appeared to be on a personal conversation on her cell phone. When she came to the register for my transaction, she rudely turned me away, claiming that my coupon was valid only at the Starbucks in Safeway stores and Targets. I explained to her that the letter that accompanied the coupons did not state any restrictions on where I could claim my drink nor did they have any expiration date printed on them. Roni Sargent was extremely loud, confrontational, and did not have any concern that I was gifted the tickets by Corporate to make up for the terrible service that I received at her same exact store! She was unapologetic for my experience and demanded to see the letter from corporate before she would honour my coupon (I did, indeed, have the letter, but never thought that I would be required to carry it around with me). As a result, I left without a drink and even further dismayed by Starbucks as a company. Shift leads or above representing the corporation should behave in a much more professional matter and with courteous empathy. For the awful experience with Roni, Starbucks at Bayhill Shopping Center deserved zero stars. Fast forward to many years in 2025 and a remodel or two later, I gave up on the coupons (I still don't think that I should have been forced to forfeit them) and decided to give Starbucks another chance. I'm glad to see MAJOR improvements; the venue is cleaner, more orderly, and the temperature inside is finally comfortable...and no more signs of Roni! Out with the old and in with the new and I like it! They also have taken steps to rectify their abhorrent customer care - when they make mistakes on drinks, they let customers keep the erroneous beverages + the corrected ones, no matter how many times it takes them to make them right. Hope that this Starbucks at Bayhill Shopping Center continues to progress from their low, super poor quality caliber era. For now, I am willing to increase my initial rating from zero stars to 3.5 stars. Since we are unable to give half stars, I'm submitting with an official 3 stars.

My local Starbucks has gone through many design changes over the years. Frankly, it used to be more homey with comfortable chairs and bigger tables. I understand that certain world events have made it necessary to create more space between the furniture and accessories and this store has done whatever was prescribed. It's still a good store and still my Go-To. The good folks behind the counter work hard and try to give good customer service. I have noticed that the headcount during any given time seems to have shrunk by one or two people. Consequently, wait times are a little longer and they are not has friendly as they used to be. This isn't a big gripe, because I do empathize with them. However, the overall experience makes me miss the old days, and when I say old days, I mean anything before 2020. All in all, it is still a good store and I will continue to go there. Okay, just one pic.

It's too bad this isn't one of the better Starbucks in the area. I usually always order mobile order but the drinks just don't get made on time by pick up time. I know they get tons of mobile orders. But sometimes the staff are just flat out slow and don't really pay attention. I'll keep coming back cause it's the closest and convenient location.

A large Starbucks spot that shares a shopping plaza with other chains including CVS and Jamba Juice. On my birthday, at my request, my loving boyfriend drove us out here so that I could get my free birthday treats from both Jamba Juice and Starbucks. I got a Spinach, Feta & Egg White Wrap for free for my birthday treat! I enjoyed it very much in that spacious Starbucks. Thanks to my beloved boyfriend for driving us here.

5:31pm on Saturday 1/18/25. The barista was not paying attention to online orders. Served the in person people first and disregarded orders already in the queue. I had to ask if our order was ready after watching multiple people walk in, order receive their order and walk back out. Finally poured my coffee but she left it there for several minutes while she was making other orders. I finally had to ask another worker to pass me my coffee from the machine. Frustrated and pissed off. Also complained to corporate. Oh also my grilled cheese was not fully cooked.

3.5 Stars. Friendly staff, the barista quickly made my drink. Nice large location. It has a lot of space where patrons can sit, relax, surf the web, etc. They have a lot of food choices (pastries, sandwiches, wraps, etc.)

They have lovely bouqets from the Beloved Flower Garden, business on hand should you if you're looking to gift something for a loved one, got my man one from here. Their cookies/deserts are really good. I did make the mistake of eating the twice baked crossitants not realizing that those usually have almonds.. so be mindful of that. Their bagels - they get from a different facility not in house just FYI; I did ask about soy allergens which they couldn't confirm but I took a risk and got one of their High Protein bagel sandwich which was very good. And their Beef N' Herb Manakeesh is divine, I get one every trip. Service - great, ambiance - great.

We tried the first two specialty bagels on the board. The Smoked Salmon & Labneh was the star, my wife's order and honestly the reason we'd come back. Great texture on the cream cheese, well-balanced toppings, solid everything bagel base. The Cream Cheese & Heirloom Tomato was fine but not memorable. The herb cream cheese was thinner than I expected, more spread than schmear. Didn't wow me, but that's a preference thing. Iced salted caramel latte hit the spot. Nice touch that the specialty bagels come with sides. Price check, two bagels and two drinks ran us close to $50. That stings a little, but the quality is there and the portions are honest. Not an everyday stop, but worth it for the salmon bagel. Would return, just ordering differently next time.

This is officially my new airport dining choice when available. I'm not a coffee drinker but they spend an equal amount of love on their matcha and chai!! This warms my heart! The pumpkin spice chai available year round (joy!) and the banana cram matcha (so far seasonal). Both not too sweet. Would like some kind of cream on top - still great as is. Both times I went for the breakfast burrito. Big fan of the veggie breakfast burrito with added bacon :) The chipotle sauce is the liquid gold! I find potatoes and hash browns to be fillers when not extra crispy for texture. Sadly they were filler here but so far they are light handed on the filler so all is right in the burrito. Did well on my request for light cheese as well. Ambiance reminds me of all my favorite cafes and tea shops with the artsy flare, welcoming colors, tons of plants, and some cool jams. Can definitely see them having a local artist showcase or local concert or open mic night. I have one request for the owners, one day please add a cardamom matcha to your menu It's such a great flavor combo! I'll be back again soon!

What a wonderful find on our SF vacation! We were staying in the area and had just finished dinner…read more We really wanted something refreshing and sweet to drink. Yelpers directed us towards this place, and I am grateful for this community for that! We liked it so much, we came back twice in two days! Our first visit, we ordered the Sesame Fans and Chestnut Dream. We also added the Mango Panna Cotta dessert. Both drinks were smooth and nutty and the dessert wasn't too sweet but still really fruity. As we were waiting, we saw all the other waffle desserts that were coming out of the kitchen. We both said we needed to come back for those desserts! On our second visit THE NEXT DAY, we ordered the Mango Sago and the Red Rose drinks. As we had just finished a very large lunch right before this, we just couldn't bring ourselves to order any of the waffle desserts! Again, our drinks were amazing and refreshing. Parking is a bit of a pain as it is strictly street parking... making a visit challenging. Interior has limited seating but at least it's bright and airy!

I've been exploring all the breakfast burritos in SanFran but this place is now also at the top of my list! I ordered a breakfast burrito with sausage and was happy with all the fillings - chunky potatoes, good amount of egg, onions, tomato, and chunky pieces of sausage in a spinach tortilla. (Instead of protein, my friend added avocado instead. And you can choose different types of tortillas - flour, whole wheat, spinach, and others) Just overall good and very filling. Not huge but not small either. The only thing I missed was salsa to put on it. Tapatio packets were given instead. (To be fair, these are Latin American-inspired breakfast burritos not "Mexican" burritos with salsa on the side.) Great breakfast burrito! Looks like there are other dishes to try.
