I drove thru Starbucks today . Since it was my birthday I thought I would take advantage of Starbucks free drink offer. I have never done this before . However when I got to the drive through window I was informed I could not take advantage of this offer since I did not have the Starbucks app..the girl even asked her Manager and I was still denied . Even with my ID to prove it was my birthday. I was disappointed to say the least . Did I really care about the free drink, no . But more on the principle . Terrible management!! The only reason they get one star is because the store itself is beautiful. They are SO ridiculously slow though. As someone who worked at Starbucks for 5 years, I'm aware that it shouldn't take 25 minutes to get drinks out. Returning home on a business trip and wanted to get out of the car to stretch, use the restroom, and get a drink. It was 930 and I Google searched a Starbucks near me. The Googles warned location closes soon at 1000. Perfect! I was 3 miles away. Pull up and my husband hops out to use the restroom while I get my purse...and the door is locked. I pull up the Starbucks website (just in case the Googs got it wrong gasp I know) Sure enough 10pm. Not dinning room 9 and drive through 10, just 10pm. Also not one sign on their doors either. At this point I watch the employees and they have taken notice of my husband walking to the other door to check it. They are very careful not to make eye contact with him but are laughing and talking on their headsets. Neither door had posted hours. My husband comes back to the car and decides to go to the drive through for a coffee. As the guy greets us in a VERY jubilant maner. I ask what the hours are and he states he can't hear me. I ask again. Still can't hear me. I ask again. This time he says I am having a hard time hearing you from the passenger seat. So now it's obvious he knows it was us at the doors a few minutes prior and this employee was clearly putting on a show for his coworkers. I lean over my husband and ask one last time and he states 9 for lobby and 10 for drive through. I tell him the website states 10pm. He apologizes in that same triumphant tone that he'll get that fixed. He then tells us to have a nice night, unless of course we want something. I ask for his name and Zachary it is. We decline for anything and my husband thanks him and we leave. I wonder if Zachary is the shift manager and leading his team to think this lack of customer service is OK it if the shift manager was one of the other two there and leads Zachary to believe such behavior is a good representation of Starbucks. Best part we go next door to McDonalds and must have been a high school football game because they are incredibly busy with customers. We order a coffee and I'll admit it wasn't anything g to write home about but their service more than made up for it. I know where I'm going next time. read more

I was never a fan of Starbucks that much but I'll say this is a great location, most young girls are dedicated to their job here so as the guy crew, I would say Sanchez (guy) and Tyler are the top great barista for me, I love their energy, very attentive and good in connecting to the guests. I had the BEST experience with the employees at this Starbucks. I was driving through San Clemente and ended up leaving my wallet in the bathroom at the store. After realizing, I called, and Cole (an employee at the store) kindly reassured me that they had my wallet and had put it in the safe. Cole connected me with the store manager, Taula, who immediately reached out to me and even express mailed my wallet to me in northern, CA the next day! Thank you SO much Cole & Taula for making what was a stressful situation into a very smooth and pleasant one. I can't thank you enough for going out of your way to return my wallet to me! I believe in very fair reviews. The positive: The employees at this location seem genuinely nice. That's it. The rest is shockingly bad. For the 3rd time in 3 attempts (I'm in the Starbucks membership program), this location has claimed to have something (ham & cheese croissant), available to order via the app, only to get to the pick-up window and "Oh, I'm so sorry sir, we don't have that thing that you drove way out of your way for...can we switch it out?" NO. There is 3 SB's closer to me. The only reason I came to YOU, waiting literally 25 mins in your ridiculous drive-thru was that you said you had this. Other locations show "not available". But wait, it gets better. Via the app, my order asks for "no ice". You guessed it, they put ice in. I would trade a nice, cheery attitude for simply getting my order right. In other places, I don't have to make this trade-off. I won't visit this location again. They had me, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but fool me once..... read more

One of the few Starbucks I go to on regular basis and I know I will get good service. I have no idea what the inside of the store looks like since I hit drive thru only. Drive through is nice and long and never seems to have much traffic backed up. (I'm an evening goer). Staff usually nice and perky (coffee much?) always helpful and suggestions on how to use my starts to maximize my order. Starbucks still gets beat out by Dunkin though for prices. read more

This has honestly been the best Starbucks experience I've ever had. I came in early on Tuesday and ordered a latte with an extra shot. It wasn't so busy (though it got busier towards 8 especially the drive thru) and it was really well staffed so that in house orders were just as fast as the drive thru orders. Everybody was so friendly and very communicative, even letting me know when they started my drink. The cashier was very patient with my order and she was very genuine when she wished me a nice day. I really like the amount of almond milk they put in and the coffee taste was very good. The inside is very clean (it's also a very new Starbucks!) and I love the tall ceilings and large windows. There's plenty of seating, with most of the outlets being in the center part where the cushioned seats are. It's also in a super convenient location and easy to get in and out of. I'd say the parking is pretty limited, but since I came early it wasn't a problem. read more

I think a lot of times people go to yelp to complain and not enough people share there good experiences here. But I have never had a problem here. In fact they have some amazing workers, one In particular that enjoy interacting with is Arianna when I go through the drive through. She is genuinely so nice and you can tell. Her Spirit is always high and most the time I can tell it's her just by her distinct voice and kindness. I can even get her when talking to people taking the order in front of me and she's just so nice and cares and it shows and I think people like this don't get enough credit. So thank you for higher interest someone like her and hire more! read more

I thought it was well worth the time it takes to give a pretty remarkable recommendation for this store; which is now my store. Alex, Jake, Tasha, Lenneya and Amy have been nothing but impressive every day this week, every week this month dealing with my orders but also being just flat out incredibly friendly. They check on you if you're in store just sitting; taste testing, just talking and being friendly if they have time and even sometimes when they don't! I've been a customer for 15 years at least and this is the first time I've ever done this. Also this is only the 2nd time I've ever known the name of the manager (Paula; who is fantastic and I'm pretty sure lives at the store because I'm there all times of the day; and apparently she is as well). This location has the worst staff and customer service. I went through the drive through and the My drink sat there for 8 min with no one in sight to just hand it to me. Also the time for opening says 4:30am on Thursdays and I was there at 4:40 sitting in the drive through with nothing. I even called and no one picked up. When I drove up to the window there were three team members in there just looking at me they didn't even say anything to me. So I drove off to avoid anymore awkward looks. The line was long, and I get them rushing to get everybody they, but the girl at the window dropped my change and told me to pull up to pick it up. I asked how was I supposed to pull forward and get my order with the cars behind me? She pushed my order at me and then proceeded to tell her coworker I dropped the money. The money didn't make it to my hand! So rude. Admit when you've made a mistake and correct it! She should have handed me the money and had someone go pick up the money. Got 2 coffees this morning around 550am 10/18/19 one a venti white chocolate mocha and the second venti caramel macchiato, the girl in the drive thru asked me if I wanted whipped cream in the mocha I said ok, drive up to pay get my coffee the mocha feels a little light but I said to myself it has whipped cream so maybe that's why, I get to work n hand the mocha to my coworker, he says it's a little light I said yeah they put whipped cream, he opens the lid and theres no whipped cream and the cup is not even filled 3 quarters of the cup it's a grande in a venti cup, wth I said?!?! I said sorry I should've checked, then I take a sip of my macchiato n it tastes like just coffee and cream no caramel whatsoever, it is the 2nd time i go there n it's the 2nd time they mess up my drinks. read more
