I've waited a long time to post because I visited many times before and several times AFTER my bad experience. I gave my order, and I sat down because a table was available. I set up my computer, books, etc. and never heard my name called. The manager and his staff were laughing and chatting it up in front of the area where finished drinks are, so I could not see my drink. After a few minutes, I decided to walk up and ask if the drink (I had never been able to see with the manager standing there) sitting there was mine. I did not see my name on the cup, so I figured they were too busy. No big deal. However, instead of a polite "yes" and clearing the way for me to get my drink, the manager (big guy) stayed standing in front of the area where I had to nearly touch his belly to reach for my drink. Worse, he quipped with an impolite tone that my name was called after I gave him a look for not respectfully moving away from the drink area. Super disappointed with his attitude because he wasn't a young teen. I didn't know of the Starbucks near Zachary Pizza, so I continued to visit this Starbucks and again and again, the workers are all business and really expect you to be the same. While I did not have another uncomfortable experience with the manager, it is clear to me that management is the reason the staff are less friendly. Working in SF, I can still get smiles and great customer service with Starbucks establishments, and if a drink sits there, names are called repeatedly despite the hustle and bustle. I have lived in San Ramon for over 15 years and will visit the other two Starbucks stores before this one any day! A personal example: the Nob Hill/Market Place Starbucks had young people come in and serenade a Starbucks worker one time I was there, and it was so nice to see the way those Starbucks' workers interact with customers. It's all about management in my opinion. read more

Barista had all options of milk (at least 5 different containers) out on the counter and I was the only one in the store. Made me sick wondering how long he had it out and how often it is done. As a previous Starbucks supervisor I know this is not okay. I can maybe understand if they were slammed with a bunch of drinks, still no excuse. Although the barista made the drinks well and fast, I'll pass on this location. read more

The one star is specific to the Starbucks internet service. If it wasn't for the exceptional employees, I would never frequent Starbucks. Congratulations Starbucks, you have figured out how to provision an internet connection that is slower than a 9600baud modem. My recommendation, If you need to get work done, I highly recommend another coffee shop. Surfing the web at this location will leave you frustrated. read more

Still my favorite Starbucks to go to, mostly due to convenience. Now that they have mobile ordering, instead of waiting in that crazy line, before I walk out the door of my house, I place my order and head to Starbucks. And voila! My order is ready on the counter. In and out in less than 10 seconds. My order is alway made correctly and the baristas are always friendly. read more

I love this spot! Specifically this location. They always have my mobile order ready and always on time. And today for some reason my coffee was not done the right way. Came back and they change my coffee with in a minute. You're very apologetic and it was very courteous of them since they were pretty busy as well. read more

This Starbucks doesn't have a bathroom. There is one all the way at the end of the entire complex. It's fine if you are just there to drop in and grab a quick coffee, but if you are staying awhile or trying to get some work done, be prepared to have to grab your entire belongings and lose your spot, just to go to the bathroom. read more

I got into an argument with a customer because she pushed herself in front of everyone twice. Certainly she was selfish but the real issue was the way the barista dealt with her by not telling her to get to the back of the line. Actually even more importantly the coverage was poor at about 10:45 am on a Saturday. Another barista should have been on the other register helping the pushy client but there was only one person on the register and one person making the drinks. This should not be the case at this time. A long line of customers waited and waited while this woman occupied the one barista. read more

People need to understand who post on Yelp that no establishment is 100% perfect, I work at a restaurant as well, everybody in life has a bad day from time to time, haven't you? If someone does mess up your drink, go back and say something! They will fix it! It is called customer service, please do not blast it on Yelp, that does nothing to fix the problem. Tell your issue to their face and not your iphone or computer, trust me they will fix it with a smile, no questions asked. Anyways, this is the best Starbucks in the area by far! I have been coming here with my wife for a few years now and the staff is always so friendly and welcoming. We both work right by this location so I am here almost every day. The store is always clean, and most importantly they make their drinks consistent; it is always frustrating to go to a Starbucks and your drink doesn't taste right but here no matter who makes it or what I get it always comes out right. Cody, Tu, Robert, Alex, Lynell, Allison, everybody is great. I have been meaning to write a review for a long time so it is long over due. Also, I appreciate that the chatter amongst the employees is quiet, they have respect for their customers that are relaxing in the store having their coffee. It is annoying when I go to other Starbucks and the employees are out of control loud and I can't relax or focus on anything. I love this place, great job guys! read more

Nice Starbucks. No drive-through at this location. No direct access from crow canyon road - if westbound on crow canyon road, you have to first turn into crow canyon place, then into this plaza. But to save time you can park in the adjacent plaza, by Harding martial arts, which is directly accessible from westbound crow canyon road. read more

I went in on halloween night and was charged $50 for a cup of coffee that cost $4.15. I am highly disappointed that it took 5 days to get my money back. My bank was no help whatsoever. The cashier kylie was stupid enough to key my order into one register and swipe my card for payment on the other register. I had to call the corporate office and make a formal complaint against the store manager and district manager. I finally got a refund for my money on 11/5. NO apology whatsoever. Rude service for the price you pay for their brand. I will not be returning to starbucks. From now on Peet's coffee and tea will get my business. read more

The baristas are very friendly and make it a point to get to know you. They know my order and many times it is ready by the time I'm done paying. This location is very convenient to the freeway and the employees are always friendly. They call customers by name and remember your favorite drink. The lines can be long but they are pretty quick. Plus they opened at 4:30am and close at 11pm so you can get your caffeine fix really early in the morning and when you come home from work. read more

This by far has been the WORST Starbucks I have ever been to... stopped in for an afternoon pick me up with my mom and the gal behind the register didn't listen to what we were saying, then after messing up the barista told us we would just have to wait till next time to use our gold card freebie. Great place to study, quick as can be, and great coffee.. BUT I feel kind of disrespected by staff. I simply went and asked what time it was, but then they decided to laugh at me as I walked away saying "Can't you just look that up?." I just went into this Starbucks and I have never walked out being so pissed off. The employees are extremely rude and don't even acknowledge your presence. It's kind of ironic that this happened couple days after they shut down all the Starbucks fir their anti bias training.
