However, I had a Mother's Day gift card and I am so happy I stopped at this location. The young man working tonight was an angel. It was close to closing time and his attitude was amazing, it was the cherry on top of me and my child's night. Despite being late he was patient and energetic. He helped me with my order and our drinks were pretty yummy. He went the extra mile with my kid's drink and the sweet design on my cup. The ambiance was great, because I love an empty drive thru! This is my home Starbucks. Been coming here for years. I always get easy ice for all my drinks, and it has never been a problem. But today, I see this matcha and I noticed it's almost a full cup of ice. When asked about it, the lady at the counter explained to me "When a customer orders ice, we put in 1 cup less of ice than the normal." I asked if this was new policy, because I have gone to other Starbucks and this one as well, and I have never been given this much ice. And I don't like too much ice because the drink gets watered down and the flavor isn't the same. She said if I want "barely any ice" I need to ask for it. I went to Starbucks two or three months ago and bought a $20 gift card for my sister that lives in Hawaii. I mailed it over there and when she went to Starbucks, it said it had a zero balance so she mailed it back to me. it took a while because she kind of just set it aside and she sent it when she felt like it so time went by. I went to the store that I bought it at and they told me I had to call customer service for a refund or whatever and they told me basically that unless I had the receipt, I was shit out of luck so I just wanna say that left a bad taste in my mouth for Starbucks and I'm just saying you better double check to make sure that the balance that you purchased on those gift cards that you buy from them really are loaded on the card. Upon arrival plenty of parking. Although it was 10am,it was super busy. All tables were completely filled up. The ambiance was friendly but loud. Don't expect to come get quit or work done. I actually met a friend and yes, the wifi ws was super fast and convenient. The service was good. The place was clean with a lot of tables,but again all taken. Friendly customers did drink their drink and left and offered us a table. My dirty chai and my friends venti was on point. No food or pastries just drinks which was perfect for a quick catch up. Came here for a quick pick me up after grabbing lunch down the street. The service was excellent! All the baristas are very friendly and create a welcoming atmosphere. My barista noticed it was my birthday recently and made sure I took advantage of my free birthday drink. He also asked me how I spent my birthday and showed genuine interest. Little things like that go a long way. My iced latte was also delicious and came out exactly how it should. I'll be making this my go to Starbucks whenever I'm in the area. read more

This was our second encounter with Anthony and he is awesome. He has one of the best personalities I've ever come across in customer service genuinely friendly, patient, and upbeat every single time. Honestly, if it weren't for him, this would be a very different review. Some of the other staff can come off with pretty negative attitudes, and it really shows in the overall experience. I truly hope the work environment doesn't bring Anthony down, because he's the one bright spot every time we visit. I ordered a white chocolate mocha with almond milk and no whip. It took literally 30 minutes to retrieve my drink, mind you no one was in line when I ordered. After about 14 minutes, I asked where was my drink and the lady could not find it in the system. I advised her the gentleman who was standing next to her took my order. She then asked him about it and he told her it was in the system. She then recovered my order from the computer to make my drink. She was apologetic and made sure my drink was hot and fresh. The place is clean and spacious with lots of room. Limited seating and they have a drive-thru line if you don't want to come inside. read more

What's not to love about sbux?! This one in particular is walking distance from my house. Like, literally within minutes! Sometimes I don't understand these reviews. Every time I visit this location or pass by, there's ALWAYS A LINE! Staff are very friendly and professional here. They always greet you the time of day, say please and thank you, and are just awesome, wholesome people. My order is right, every time. I think it's a smart move to start the conversation with "can I get you anything to eat today?" Because that's their queue to start warming up your breakfast sandwich so by the time you pull up to the drive thru window, it's warm and ready. They are always there for me, at any time of the day. Whether is he at the crack of dawn, or at end of day, I know I can depend on my Starbucks for a pick me up! There's plenty of seating to sit and sip, study, gossip and catch up with your friends. Horrible and unprofessional! We waited outside of the Starbucks location since 8 PM 11/5/25 for the 11/6/25 release of the Bear cup. Prior to coming to this location many of us had called different ones to see which locations we're going to have it in stock. I had called and spoke to a gentleman who was very kind to get all the information and even put me on hold to confirm. He had told me that this location had 5 to 10 of the bear cups. We waited from 8 PM all the way to 3 AM for the release when they are supposed to open. All of the night shift that left before the morning shift coming and purchased a lot of the release, which is very unprofessional as starters. Then the morning shift is coming in for their shift a lot more of the merchandise hello Kitty and bear cups included. Manager Michelle proceeded to come out right before 3 AM and tell us the rules of how they were going to sell the merchandise since there was a big line. I asked her about the bear cup and she told me that they didn't receive any. She proceeded to continue to lie about it after I told her I called and one of the girls in line has video footage that she recorded from their window of the employees purchasing the bear glass cups. She has no backbone and couldn't admit it. She said that she didn't know anything about it. Starbucks employees should not be able to purchase the cups that are set to release to customers who wait in line. They need retraining at this location. I rather go all the way to LCF STARBUCKS next to the Exer urgent care because the locations in Whittier where I live can't make the cold brew salted caramel. Like always watered or milked down. Barley cold like it semi cold to like warm But at LCF I feel like there's actual coffee and tastes fucking great with 2 shot of vanilla mocha in a venti size. This store was recently updated only for the service time to double. This location is extremely slow. The drive thru line is always hectic and each car is averaging 7 minutes at the pay/pickup window. So imagine being the 5th or 6th car and waiting that times 7 minutes!!! I've been to many Starbucks locations. This location stood out as far the the customer service. If something was out of stock or not available they recommend something else and it was good! Even during the time they were training new hires, that didn't seem to be under pressure with a lot of orders. Other locations I've experienced staff feel overwhelmed when training new hires and having a lot of customers. That wasn't the case here. Awesome staff makes an awesome team, results in an awesome location! Will be coming back here often especially since it's on the way to work. read more

I understand the new policy but I don't like that it's applied to water. I'm 39 weeks pregnant and it being a little hot I was hoping to get an ice water quick to help with me feeling dehydrated. I'm only at this plaza because I go to the optometrist in this plaza but they were closed so I stopped by to get a water. Someone offered to get me the water since she ordered but they denied her and said I had to pay for something. They did apologize but overall I think they should've at least give water to at a pregnant woman without having to pay for a scone I'm not going to eat. Took almost 20 min for a mobile order that was supposed to take 10 min. They made my drink hot instead of iced as indicated on the app. When I pointed it out, she coldly took the sticker off the paper cup and put on the plastic one to make the new drink.
