    Drive thru menu Feb 2025

I stopped by this Starbucks today in the early morning to get a bagel. I was going to order it off the mobile app but decided that I wanted to eat my bagel fresh so I figure I'll order it when I'm at the store. Since I came in the early morning, I think only drive thru is open because all the chairs inside was on the table so I went to the drive thru line. There was only 2 cars in front of me but I didn't have to wait long. I got my plain bagel with cream cheese and asked for a venti iced water. By the time I pulled up to the window, my bagel was ready and my water. I tooked it back to my work office to eat it and it was great. The bagel was not over toasted and the cream cheese just added that extra delicious taste to it. The woman working the drive thru today was very energetic and polite.

The tastiest one I've ever had and the nicest customer service from TESLA in the drive thru!

Wow! Today was my first time at this location. The employees are so nice! I went through the drive thru. TESLA, you gave such amazing customer service and are super friendly! It literally made my day receiving happy, kind service first thing in the morning. Why can't employees everywhere be this friendly? On top of that, it was the best Hazelnut Oat Milk Shaken Espresso I've had yet! Trust me when I say, I've gotten some terrible ones from other locations. Thank you!

My barista felt bad forgetting my name. So she drew a portrait of me.

Great service with a fun easy going vibe! Crew works hard to make your experience a great one!

I never write reviews but this incident threw me so off guard that I wanted to warn other people about this woman. I have been coming to this Starbucks for a couple of years bc it's on my way to work. I work 4 days a week. I am always super nice and respectful bc I also work in food service and would never be a horrible customer. Today (11/3/25) when I went, the lady at the window was not only rude but my main issue that I'm writing this review about is because she put my name on my order as "Fiend". My name is Jayden, there is no way she misheard my name. She is always rude every time she is at the window but today was my last straw with her. That is so extremely unprofessional and just flat out mean. I go there 4 days a week to have caffeine before my opening or closing shift. If her attitude and response to me going there 4 days a week is to call me a fiend, I just wanted to warn other customers about her bc I KNOW people go there every single day so I can only imagine their attitude towards them. I've never had any issue with any of the baristas, they are usually so so nice, but the older woman who has a thick black ring on one of her fingers should not be at the window serving and interacting with people, and apparently as well as writing people names for their orders. I will not be going there again.

This is the relocated Starbucks in the Wood Ranch Shopping Center. They built a new stand alone building in the corner of the parking lot to make this a drive-thru location. Same friendly employees and great quality. The Wood Ranch Starbucks has always had great service. The employees take the time to get to know you and remember your drinks. They are still working out the drive-thru kinks, but all in all, they are doing a pretty good job. Just a little slow at times. The interior is modern and spacious. There is a nice little patio in front of the store if you want to enjoy your drink outside.

We were craving coffee, searched for the closest coffee shop, and happened to stumble across Makenna Coffee. I remember absolutely falling in love with their coffee and thinking, "I cannot wait until we come back this way so I can get this again!" Unfortunately, I never ended up making it back... until today! We happened to be in the area for an appointment at the Jeep dealership, and when I realized Makenna Coffee was nearby, there was NO WAY I was leaving without stopping. This was only my second time here, and somehow it was just as good as I remembered. Taylor helped me and she was such a sweetheart! I couldn't remember what I had ordered the first time, so she helped me pick out two different drinks to try -- the Sandy Blonde and the Maui Latte. I ordered them half sweet, and they were still a little sweeter than I normally prefer, but honestly, they were amazing nonetheless. I'm usually a black coffee/Americano kind of girl, but every once in a while I get a serious sweet tooth and want something fun and indulgent -- and Makenna Coffee is PERFECT for that. Their coffee is so good, and there's just something about this little spot that I've loved ever since I accidentally discovered it. I only wish I lived closer because I would definitely be here way more often. If you're ever in this area, do yourself a favor and stop at Makenna Coffee. It's one of those little gems you're so happy you found.

Since I work long hours during the week and usually am not up for jumping right up on the weekends, that is cool with me! DH will go over and pick out fresh pastries for us for breakfast/brunch. He'll usually select one savory item and one sweet treat. Often, their Japanese-style egg salad tucked inside a pastry is so perfect for me. The actual dough is like a marriage between a bagel and a croissant. It's lighter than a bagel, but it's flavorful and tender like a croissant, but not flaky. The egg salad filling is just right for my tastebuds, and it provides protein in a fancy, delicious fashion. Today there was a hint of savory garlic on the pastry, and that added a nice flavor accent. Today's sweet pastry was an open-faced tart filled with a smooth, light chocolate base, topped with creamy custard, and then sliced pears on top. Mmm. I like the choice of pears offering a hint of the autumn season ahead. The last time we had out of town guests staying with us, we took my them to Le Herisson one morning. They fell in love with the food and the sweet, simple ambiance. The next morning, my sister-in-law got up early and went back over, bringing back a box of pastries for everyone to share. That definitely tells the story of how much everyone enjoyed the food offerings. It's a special treat to have a quality bakery like this in Simi. We prefer it to another well-regarded bakery on the west end of town, which is a different style and more expensive.

It's my opinion that it really is hard to find a local bakery offering sweet and savory pastries freshly made with a very personal touch, they are far and few these days. So many wonderful pastries to choose from, so more visits will be in the future to explore the deliciousness baked daily. She is open from Thursday to Sunday and closed Monday through Wednesday. Very friendly staff ready to guide you through the many pastries baked fresh each day. This is an incredible bakery to have close to home, it does remind me of establishments you would visit in France or Italy or other European countries. Much to my surprise, it was about as lively as I had remembered it. The Alley was established during Covid times and offered a retreat to escape from the humdrum of the homestead. It's a causal scene and easy to soak in the live music, sunlight/moonlight, and neighborly banter. The layout resembles an alley with shops on either side, big open doors invite you to grab something to eat, sample a drink, or shop for handmade gifts. On one side, you've got craft brews and coffee roasters. On the other side, it's local wines and piping hot pizzas. Dogs are welcome all around. At the center of it all, there's live music on the weekends. Modeled after a Beer & Wine Garden concept, The Alley features Enegren Brewery (beer), Lucas Sellers (wine), California Coffee Republic (java), Fire & Vice (pizza), and The Craft House (non-alcoholic tchotchkes). As a self-proclaimed wino, I opted for a sampling of the Lucas Sellers Wines. Ashley, who was behind the bar and top of the pours, gave me good suggestions and offered anecdotes about each wine on tap.
