The barista wrote "we heart u" on my cup and I noticed it when I got back home. It made my day better! I heart them back!! Human beings spreading love and kindness is something I want to be apart of!!

It's strawberry and chocolate day! Have your friendly Starbucks Specialist create for this delicious drink for you! This place is great for study groups! Tip generously, for this drink is a difficult one to make!

I great place to grab a coffee or a small bite. Plenty of relaxing seating. The employees all super chilled and upbeat. This location was very clean and stocked with many drinks and food items. They had a large selection of mugs and canisters for sale. Lots of parking.

Okay so I know it's not the end of the world, and mistakes happen, but I wanted to make the store aware- if it doesn't say iced on the Uber eats item order (like this sticker does not say iced anywhere) it's because someone ordered a hot coffee. I know it was probably a genuine mistake, but would appreciate awareness for future orders. Thanks!

New New location, I likey. Then again I like all things "new". Located at the corner of S. Grand and Sidney; across the street from Tower Grove Park. The decor is an industrial, rustic feel. There are 2 leather chairs but no sofa which was a bummer but the long tables and steel stools made up for it. Full stock of your Starbucks favs; tins of tea, coffee, tumblers, sippers, pastries, sandwiches, parfaits and more! There's a "What's Happening" board at the front entrance if your interested. Patio seating is available with plenty of shade for you to work. The drive-thru looked forced. Tight. Sharp turn-ish but hey whatever works. Lastly, the coolest thing I've ever seen at a Starbucks was the "Customer of the Week" incentive which shout-outs a random favorite customer who receives their next drink on the house. I asked how this was made possible and Jeffrey explained "It pays to get in good with someone; it's totally random." Made no sense but at least we know its a possibility.

So Starbucks gets a 5 star no matter what cuz I'm super bias towards them. They provide me with cups of happiness and joy that make my day much better. The best Chai Tea Latte I've come across to date. Their Vanilla Petite Scones are little bites of smiles and rainbows. Never had a bad experience. *Tip* the parking lot is sometimes hard to get into and out of. If you park in the Family Dollar lot across the street you can save a lot of time.

First time going to the new Starbucks! I only went through the drive thru but the girls seem to be super friendly and my drink tastes perfect! It's really nice they opened one at this location. The other one down the street can be a little congested and hard to get in and out of during rush hour. Also, read a review about a guy complaining about keycode on restroom door! Need to go check that out! I've never seen that before and it seems like cool idea!

I come here multiple times a month. I always get excited when Rhett is working or helping me. Always makes great suggestions; like changing my milk on my dirty chi tea, or how many pumps to put in it. Or adding nutmeg or hazelnut to my iced americano. I work from home or at different Starbuck, I would say I got to at least 5 different locations throughout the month or not more. From St. Charles to downtown STL and everything in between plus some in IL. This is my favorite location. They just seem to be more on top of it and caring about their guests, mainly Rhett!

There are plants in the front window, local artists artwork on the wall for sale and a glass case full of goodies. You order at the counter and they bring your order to the table when it's ready. On this visit, I ordered a breakfast bowl that had potatoes, eggs, cheese, spinach and tomatoes, with a side of toast. I also ordered a black pepper & rosemary scone, and a cold brew coffee. Everything was absolutely delicious. Besides this establishment having a wonderful and welcoming vibe, the staff is top-tier. They were so incredibly kind, friendly and patient. Absolutely love them!

The staff is always friendly and helpful, the food comes out quickly, and the shaded patio is a great place to sit and enjoy your meal. The espresso shake was absolutely delicious, but the Lou Melt was the standout of my visit. The bread had the perfect crunch on the outside while staying soft on the inside, and unlike many steak burgers , it wasn't greasy at all. The French Dip was just okay. It could have used a bit more flavor, and I wish there had been more meat on the sandwich. The bread, however, was fresh, airy, and incredibly soft, which helped make it enjoyable. The Caesar salad was another highlight. The kale was massaged just enough to make it tender while still keeping a nice crunch, and every bite left me wanting more. The Greek salad wasn't quite as memorable. The dressing tasted mostly like oil with only a slight hint of vinegar, so it felt like it was missing the bold, tangy flavors I was expecting. I also ordered an iced vanilla latte, which was excellent. It was smooth, not overly sweet, and didn't have the bitter taste that some coffee drinks can have. Overall, Mokabe's offers a warm, inviting atmosphere, consistently friendly service, and a menu with several standout items. While a couple of dishes could use a little more seasoning, I'd happily come back for the Lou Melt, Caesar salad, coffee, and the overall experience.

I was already familiar with Upshot Coffee's game from a visit to their Clayton location a few weeks…read moreago. I tried the breakfast burrito, and it honestly changed my life. I was able to get off drugs and reconnect with my family as the result of eating a burrito. You can imagine my excitement, then, when it was announced that a group I run with was meeting at this Tower Grove South location. I wasn't crazy about getting up early the day after America's 250th birthday, and there was the slight possibility that I'd barf during my run around Tower Grove Park (people might think I was back on drugs), but I was willing to risk it for the, erm, burrito. Actually, it occurred to me that I might try something else, for the sake of citizen food journalism. Then my decision was made for me when I saw that they carry a bagel with lox. I've eaten literally a million bagels with lox, going back to the 1980s, but only either at home or at places that aren't very good, like Einstein Bros. Alas, I was informed that the bagel with lox was currently unavailable, because they were out of lox. Which struck me as odd, given that lox is not served fresh. It's not like they had to go pull it out of the water that morning or have it flown in from Alaska, packed in ice. Was there a run on the lox due to a nearby media-industry convention? Did they accidentally leave it sitting out overnight? I imagine that would smell crazy. I went with the Everything, which may have been the better choice anyway. Named after the famous bagel seasoning, it's essentially a bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel with cream cheese and a tomato. But describing it that way doesn't really do it justice. You have to attempt to wrap your lips around it in order to truly appreciate it. No Diddy. It's the bagel-sandwich equivalent of their legendary burrito, and it might be just as good. The bacon and egg are perfectly cooked, with the egg just slightly underdone and the bacon nice and crisp but still with a little bit of chew. The helping of cream cheese is weirdly generous, to the point where just the cream cheese on a bagel would be a fairly substantial sandwich. The tomato, which was a little bit tart, made for a nice accent. It comes wrapped in one of those diapers they used to use on some of the bigger burgers at Hardee's, to keep it from falling apart the moment you try to bite into it. You'd still eat all the individual elements using your fingers, because you're a savage and because they're that good, but it wouldn't be the same. It's a testament to the thoughtfulness and the ingenuity of the kitchen staff at Upshot that they thought to do that.

In fact he actually hung out at our table a little too long- we wanted to get on with our conversations. Ha. Anyway I had the avocado toast with an egg on top- it was huge order. And very good. They sprinkle crunchy mix on top of the avocado- seeds mostly and lettuce under it - a great combo of texture and flavor esp with a creamy green sauce with it. It was interesting and visually impressive, although I would say the taste may not be everyone's cup of tea. The Norwegian pancakes were also beautifully presented. They looked very much like crêpes and, to me, tasted very similar to crêpes as well. The coffee was probably one of the more interesting parts of the experience. It was made with Indonesian coffee and green Indonesian spices that gave it a unique color and appearance that reminded me a little of matcha. Definitely something different to try. I initially ordered bacon and eggs, but unfortunately they were out of bacon. What surprised me was that there really wasn't another side available to substitute for it, so I ended up choosing something completely different. I also asked about sampling something before ordering and learned that they do not offer samples. Overall, this is a very visually appealing and unique dining experience with some interesting flavor combinations. I think it's a great place for someone who enjoys trying something a little different, but some of the flavors and menu options may not appeal to everyone.
