I was an early bird today. I usually don't wake up early, but today was a bit different. The minute I opened my eyes, I was craving some decaf Lavender Latte with oat milk, Blueberry Muffin and their Birthday Cake pop. Got a great, warm welcome by all their baristas and James was the one who helped me with my order. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable with the menu, helpful and kind. Place was clean with lots of patio seating. They also have a great selection of pastries, coffees, gift cards, gifts, cups/mugs and let's not forget great sandwiches. I also got their Egg, Pesto, Mozzarella sandwich on Ciabatta bread. Everything tasted fresh, hot and DELICIOUS! I have been to this Starbucks before, but not in a very long time. The most efficient Starbucks I've been to in my entire life! Friendly staff and quick service!

Be aware this location consistently will water down all of your drinks , this Strawberry açaí refresher was basically water with a hint of the drink. I legitimately have never had a worse version of this drink; I almost wanted to go and replace it but it wasn't worth the trouble. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've gotten really watered down or gross tasting drinks at this location. Never again read more

Super fast preparation even though I ordered while I was down the street at Barnes and Noble. I was able to grab my drinks and check out some books all within 50 yards. This Starbucks used to be my go to location. It was once a Reserve store and maybe it is still the same but I don't see the difference between a regular store versus the Reserved. Back in the days my buddy used to be a partner at this location. Because of that this location was very familiar to me. Quick, easy and convenient are the best things I can say about it. There are times now days that I would create a mobile order and pick up after a hike at Fryman Canyon. It is easy to access, there are plenty of parking in the rear and very accessible to other stores in the local area. Recently I would tell people to meet me at this location for quick hang outs and I feel that the location is just centralized enough to have those meet ups. I had a Starbucks gift card that's been in my possession since Christmas and with an hour to kill before my set Saturday morning appointment a block away, in addition to my hunger pangs sorta kickin' in, the timing couldn't be more perfect. Iced matcha green tea latte was a given, but to grub... what to grub... impossible breakfast sandwich it is! The wait was surprisingly short given the semi-crowd waiting for their stuff. I was also surprised they knew my name without me giving it! (That was kinda weird... was it the app? My debit card, maybe?) My drink was refreshing as I expected. My food came out really hot. I've had impossible burgers and meals before and man, they really figured out how to give this patty that meat taste and texture. It gave off that frozen-heated-in-a-microwave/warmer taste, but wasn't too bad. FOOD: 4. SERVICE: 5. Staff was friendly and swift. VALUE: 3. Ten and change for the drink and grub. It's the usual Starbucks pricing. PARKING: Street - I didn't see a lot behind the block. Meter rates at $1/hr, so it's not a big deal at all. OVERALL: 4. I'm not really a Starbucks fiend, but the experience here was above average. One plus for me is that they're dog friendly. Unbelievable! I frequent this store and today I went in to use the bathroom prior to meeting a friend for a coffee. They would not give me the bathroom code before purchasing a coffee first, I had to speak to the manager and even he treated me like I was a criminal. The worst service ever. What happened?! I came in this morning and within five minutes I witnessed three separate adults verbally abusing/yelling at staff for whatever reason.. Despite these people acting like children, the staff kept it cool, calm and professional. I really appreciate and admire this because if it were me, someone would definitely be getting a cup of milk to the face.. I stopped by this Starbucks since I was in the area across the street and my wife wanted her blonde Vanilla Latte. I parked across the street and walked over to this Starbucks because it's street parking if you don't want to park there. When I walked in, there was only 1 guest in front of me. I told the guy working the cashier my wife order with her customizations like light ice, 2 pumps of espresso and 4 pumps of sweetener. Everything seem right until I got the drink and look at the order label. It said light ice but the barista put medium amount of ice, he did the drink first and then put the ice to where the drink would look full. He also only put 1 pump of espresso, 1 pump of sweetener and give me the grande size instead of venti. My wife didn't enjoy her drink, saying it was too strong and I didn't want to ask them to redo the order so she just drank as much as she could. This location is obviously busy and I'm not mad at that. I got good vibes upon entering and the staff working had a really good attitude towards their customers. My gripe is when they have mobile orders just sitting there and they don't call out people's names. When the starbucks app tells me my order will be ready at a certain time, I generally wait until close to that time to hop in to pick up. There were a ton of people waiting for their orders so I literally stood there for 5+ minutes while my order just sat there. Lame. read more

I came into Starbucks on Sunday 8/4/24 and WOW, I was taken care of by the mayor of swoon city, Avy. Her service was impeccable, she was effusive and radiated kindness. She made me an iced honey citrus mint tea like it was a cortado, all while handling the floor with basically no other employees except for herself. Very rude baristas. Stopped one early Saturday morning. No one greeted me, even though I was the only customer in the store. When I tried to order, without even looking up, an employee behind the counter merely said, "order at the other counter." A different employee, with a sour look on her face and an attitude to match, took my order without saying a single word. When it came to pay, she merely said "scan" when I turned on my apple pay. When I held my phone next to the pay device, she barked, "scan!" I then noticed there was a scanning device. Not a pleasant experience at all. I love Starbucks ; but this location always been my least favorite even though it's on my way to work . Today however I stopped by, because my friend, who is a nurse as well told me that Starbucks gives free coffee to first responders. I was told at this location that they don't have acids and can't do it for me. She made me feel like a beggar ! I can still afford buy myself a coffee. And I thought it was a very nice gesture from Starbucks to offer it to all first responders. I m not sure if the workers not aware or it was not implemented; but this person made feel very bad just prior to beginning of my shift. Oh and most Starbucks baristas know how to make the drinks on their menu, but these guys seem to have a bit of trouble with that. Do not get a vanilla sweet cream cold brew at this location. It's my go to drink and every time I've ordered it at this location it's been made incorrectly. It's either missing the sweet cream or the pumps of vanilla. Always test your drink before leaving. Tuesday's triple digit temps sent folks who usually sip barista blended beverages at outdoor seating on the corner of Ventura Boulevard and Vantage Avenue during double digit weather inside. Me too. But not for either liquid refreshment or a quick repast. Nope, I was on a quest to find stainless steel straws to reduce my carbon footprint. Not a fan of Starbucks' coffee, I prefer one of their perfectly brewed iced teas. However, I am a huge fan of their totally tasty, waistline conscious food (Egg Bites, YES!!), fresh salads and snacks (single serving vacuumed packed carrots and apple slices), often dining in or getting a meal to go when I'm too lazy to brown bag it. Selection here was well represented. I'm also a fan of Starbucks' retail merchandise (especially gift cards), reusable ceramic or insulated cups, mugs, and coffee and tea packaged to take home or to gift a special someone. Unfortunately, the merchandise selection was small and did not include the stainless steel straws I was looking for. I may be a tad early on trying to acquire this item as the ban/press on plastic straws is still relatively new. Meantime, I'll continue to use paper straws (also not easy to find) to sip caffeinated beverages without staining my teeth. This Starbucks is an intimate place where the lines move swiftly and the clientele is mellow. I could hang out here in the future to study or catch up on paperwork prior to seeing Silver Triangle clients. Metered parking on Ventura Boulevard. There's a free parking lot behind Pier 1 that doesn't seem to be enforced if you're frequenting other businesses as well as neighborhood parking subject to street sweeping days on Vantage Avenue. read more

Not a bad place to work - but did experience some WiFi issues. There is indoor and outdoor seating, but as with most 'Bucks, if you want to get any work done, I recommend you stay indoors to get the strongest WiFi. Friendly staff but they have that annoying bathroom "sitch" where you have to get a code for the door... never easy to do when there is always a line at the counter.
