Just about a daily ritual for myself. This location and East Washington in Madison. The staff here is great, I have been here morning, noon time, and 5:30 at night and no matter how busy, how long the line is when it comes to your turn, you get the attention. Terrible drive thru service. Why should it take over 10 minutes for a decaf iced beverage? Their excuse was that there was a problem with decaf, then I finally was given a hot beverage. It took another 4 minutes (all this time there were cars waiting behind me) to get what I ordered. When I asked for a refund, he said they couldn't give refunds on the drive thru register. He never offered me a coupon for a free coffee or even apologized. This was not during a peak time either. It's faster for me to drive down to the Starbucks on East Wash in Madison. I won't go to the Sun Prairie location again. I'm glad Beans N Cream is opening a drive thru location on Main Street in Sun Prairie. read more

It's a Starbucks so you can expect the usual. Counter person was pleasant - took the order, write my simple first name on cup. Started working - free, good wifi - and after a few minutes when I didn't hear my name called I walked up to the counter. There was a cup there but I did not see a name on it. I asked the two baristas if it was a medium latte. They said they thought it was for chad. My name is john. No one else moves to grab the cup. I asked if it was a medium latte. No answer. I asked if any of the cups about to be filled had the name john on them. No answer. Got one brief stare and then they went on about their business. I counted to ten, trying to take up all the space at the counter. They knew I was there. Took a deep breath and asked if anyone was going to help me. The gent, surly as heck, loudly states that he is making me a latte. Unfortunately my ability to read minds want working this morning so I had no idea. I decided to take the high road and just smiled. When he handed me my coffee he made it a point to loudly call out what it was and wish me a great day, which is slang for FU. I wished him a BETTER day, which is slang for right back at ya. Nice job at stating my day with unnecessary confrontation Starbucks. I watched for a few minutes as I worked. Cashiers seemed nice. I come here way too often for you to be fucking up my coffee the way they do. EASY ICE, it's not that complicated. I finally said something to the girl at the window, after having to scoop out ice, on more than one occasion. She looked at me, dumbfounded, and continued to stare at me without any apology, "we'll try not to fuck it up next time" nothing. Maybe she should work a little harder on her customer service and less on her tacky red lipstick . I'll stick to the east side, for some reason sun prairie cannot handle the drive through AT ALL. get it together, it's coffee, not rocket science, and I'm not ordering some fluffy drink with twelve steps either. read more

Awful Experience... I ordered two fairly simple drinks and then forgot that I needed to order another drink. It was an hour later and I received the 2nd order first and then the gave me only half of my other order and had to ask for the other drink. If i could give this place no stars i would. So, to get started, i ordered on line. i was wondering what to get searching the app multiple time because i didn't know what to get. I finally decided on a Carmel Frapuccino so i wanted to modify it to have bananas, cause it'd be good. so i ordered it and the total came out to be $12.50. Yeah you read that right. I couldn't believe my eyes, but luckily i had a free drink coupon through the app. So i ordered. So i got in the car and headed to starbucks. I arrived. Went in and talked to a lady and she gave my sister and i our starbuck frappuccinos. we both tried it and thankfully my mom stood in line, while we took our first sips. My sister said it was good; mine not so great. There was no banana. I thought i wasn't just not tasting it. i was wrong. So now my mom is up at the counter and we asked the lady if there were any banana, maybe it was a mistake. She said there was one banana in my frapuccino. i tried it some more and wanted to just leave. So to double check we asked to make sure there was one banana in this drink. she said no, we are out of bananas. So after our 20 minuets in this place with attitude and lies. we left unhappy and disrespected. not okay. read more

It's a fairly convenient location off of 151 but the drive thru times have been horrible! I waited 25 mins and 30 mins in the line. Yes we were given a free drink but the wait was awful. If I could've driven away, I would've. If you are in a hurry definitely go in to order. read more

Slow service. Had the music blaring at concert level. Not a good place to relax and read a book let alone hold a conversation over the loud music. read more

This is the worst Starbucks location I have ever visited! The staff gossips among themselves, talking about their weekend plans, including the "staff supervisor" of the day, while working VERY slowly and continually stopping to talk/dance/sing/laugh while the store is full of customers waiting for their drinks. There were 8 people "working" (some just standing around) and I, as well as other customers, still waited 20+ minutes for 2 lattes. When I asked for the manager's contact information, their attitude changed. As I walked out the door, a bunch of them literally yelled at me "Happy Holidays, Happy Holidays, Happy Holidays!!!". And when I turned around to look at them, they all laughed. Truly a childish environment. I felt like I was back in Middle school. One side note, there was one employee, a seemingly nice gentleman working the drive through line, who was the only person working hard and seemed mortified by what he was seeing. Poor guy. read more

worst starbucks I've ever been to. theres a white girl and im sure even with my vague description people who've encountered her know who im talking about. i couldn't stand looking at her long enough to see her name. she does wear a ponytail and has longer hair. the guy messed up my order but he was nice. then when i tried to explain to her i got charged for a drink i didn't order she goes "one drink at a time i cannot make all your drinks at once, " hold up. you didn't even listen to what i said second i didn't ask for all my drinks. long story short she made my drink and didnt even call my name. and glanced at me a few times to roll her eyes. i nearly wanted to throw my drink at her. she shouldn't be working there as it seems like a drag to her. management needs to come down to this location as the service is bad and especially the workers. read more
