    Lobby (After 2024 Update)
    Jose R.

After the 2024 lobby remodel, this place no longer feels welcoming to those who like to stop by to read, study, converse or just take in the scenery. This looks more like an emergency room cafe than a Starbucks. The vibe now is really more geared towards the drive thru. That's a shame! The increase in prices don't help either.

I've been going to this location for 10+ years and this was NEVER an issue. I've done surveys and to no avail NOTHING NEVER HAPPENS. This location went thru a remodel earlier this year and what they did was made the interior smaller by 80-90%!!! What used to be plenty of seating inside, there now 12 seats inside and not as many exterior seating like there used to be. This location turned from a coffee house setting to an ANTI-CUSTOMER location. It's basically, "hears your drink, get the HELL OUT" mentality.

8 oz "Tall": $5.11. :-( Thank goodness for gift cards!

I've always wondered what it is that Starbucks has that people patiently line up in cars bumper to bumper around the outside of their buildings for coffee... Remembering a gift card I have, I decide to treat myself to an eggnog latté. Leaving the grocery store, I stop in on my way home for my much anticipated treat. The friendly barista checked the card as I was unsure what the balance was. I was good to go...except...they had no eggnog. WHAAAT?! Very disappointed, I got a Pumpkin Spice Latté instead, requesting decaf, light whipped cream and no sugar. The pumpkin syrup was very sweet; no additional sugar required. The beverage was flavorful and too sweet for me, but I can see why Starbucks has the following it does. What I CAN'T understand is WHY does a 8 oz cup of flavored coffee with a small amount of whipped cream COST $5.11?! Discuss amongst yahselves: how do coffee drinkers afford this (without gift cards)? Discuss.

Sucks that they're extremely slow. I submitted my mobile order at 11:45am and still in the drive thru waiting for my 3 drinks. It's 12:24pm. There's no exit within the drive thru so can't just leave and I wouldn't to get my $ back I'm sure.

You can't ask for better service- the staff is dedicated to making sure your drink is perfectly made and given with a kind smile to boot! I love anytime I go into a business and the staff is happy and playful- and this Starbucks obviously has a great team and good leadership because they were enjoying their work- something rare today! Then there was the order- Very Berry Hibiscus Tea for me, my daughter opted for a coffee creation only she could come up with and they obliged her writing her own order on her cup- yes she is that type and Connor got his 4 pump only latte that every other Starbucks makes with 6 even when he specifies 4. Happy customers for sure!

Bacon, egg, and Gouda! Love how gooey the cheese comes out every time.

This is my go-to Starbucks for the time being. I've never had a bad experience, nor have I had to ask them to remake my drink. One time I had to ask for some different freeze-dried limes, because mine were brown (???), but that was resolved quickly. Coincidentally, that was the day I realized the limes were even dried! When the last holiday event was going on, one of the goals was to say something nice about your favorite SB employee. I chose someone from this store, because she was super helpful and cheerful despite a purchase and return going a little haywire. It involved several gift cards and receipts, a voided transaction... complete hysteria. Okay, maybe not. But she kept her cool despite a growing line and resolved everything with a smile. Great customer service! There's also a really large round table you can pretend to be King Arthur at. Just saying.

Loud! We stopped here to fuel beloved with his daily java jolt and this place is LOUD. Music bouncing off tile floors in a super small store, grinding beans, shouting baristas, even my husband couldn't sit inside. Outdoor seating is under the flight path but the breeze was nice and the coffee was good.

However - this place is killer. I've tried several lattes and the cold brew, and they are phenomenal. I've brought people coffee from here, and each person has agreed that it's some of the best we've had in Tampa recently. The ambiance is interesting - it's in a kitchen store. But it works! The team is so great, and the shop currently has some of my fave baristas from formerly open shops. They're awesome! I highly recommend stopping in.

Inside this winding housing development, you'll find a small shopping plaza-gasoline on one end, dry cleaners on the other... and in between those bookends, a string of small businesses. And behind the door with all the flowers around it: Perfect Press Coffee. It's a hopping and popping kind of place. I've been there twice in the last year-and it's busy. It's a fun mix of neighborhood moms with strollers-people stopping on the way to or from work-and a few remote work workers-who thrive in the happy buzz of a booming business. To the right when you walk in: coffee, tea and sweet and/or savory small bites. There's bench seating along the wall, several small tables and two little couches in the middle. The decor is cute, cozy, modern and slightly caffeinated. It's not a huge place but it's super popular. There are tables out front on the sidewalk, too. It's busy, but the skilled baristas keep things moving. On this most recent trip, I tried the ube matcha-my first. I liked it! There were lots of tempting pastries, etc-but I had a lunch date coming up, so I stuck to just the beverage. If you decide to stop in, bonus: this business shares space with a fun kitchen store that has everything from gourmet salts and oils-fun towels and mugs-and all sorts of other items. I should have bought the cola flavored candy bar. Next time! Yes, the parking lot is a little hectic-but be patient, it comes and goes in waves-you'll get a spot. Oh! And really nice restrooms. This is worth a stop and shop. I'll be back for round three.

We chose to sit on the patio and waited for nearly 30 minutes without a single employee checking on our table. The line inside was all the way to the door, so at first we assumed someone would eventually come by, take our order, or at least acknowledge us. Instead, we watched multiple tables on both sides of us receive service while our table was completely ignored. Eventually, we ordered through the QR code on the menu. What wasn't clear is that QR code orders are apparently treated exactly like takeout orders. When our first item was ready, it was handed to us in a plastic container inside a bag. We explained that we were dining in, not taking food to go. I specifically asked a staff member named Graham if the remaining 3 dishes could simply be served on regular plates. He told me "that wasn't possible and that QR code orders automatically come in to-go containers". That explanation made very little sense considering we were sitting at a table in the restaurant. A few minutes later, one of my friends flagged down another server, who had no issue arranging for the food to be served on actual plates. That inconsistency was honestly mind-blowing. To make things even stranger, one coffee arrived in a ceramic mug while the rest came in disposable to-go cups. Nothing about the service felt organized or logical. As for the food, it was fine. Not bad, but nothing particularly memorable or worth making a special trip for. Given that I drove about an hour and paid tolls to visit, I definitely won't be making that drive again. I understand places get busy, but basic service still matters. If you're asking customers to tip when ordering through a QR code, serving dine-in food on actual plates instead of plastic takeout containers doesn't seem like an unreasonable expectation. There are simply too many other coffee shops with better service for me to return. 3 stars because the atmosphere was decent and the food was okay, but the service was disappointing from start to finish.
