I really enjoy going to the Veterans Starbucks. The staff is always super nice, and the atmosphere is very uplifting, especially in the mornings. Even when I stop by late at night after work, they're always so sweet and welcoming. I definitely plan to keep coming back. I actually choose to drive a little further to this location instead of going to the Starbucks by my house on Sheldon Road because that one feels so rundown and the service there is disappointing. I completely understand the challenges of hearing in the drive through with the flights, etc and my order was heard wrong and was just too sweet for me. I'm in town for the weekend and decided to travel to this location for my daily Starbucks fix. The first day I ordered they skimped out and left almost two inches from the top unfilled. On the second day, I decided to order light ice instead of no ice in both drinks and both drinks were filled halfway with ice. I've never had so much ice in a drink I've asked for light ice. When I asked if this was light ice the woman at the drive-thru window got snippy in response while the one that made the drink explained the amount she used. Please understand we had gone to a different location the night before and the drinks were made perfectly. It just seems this location & its employees have issues. I'm lazy, so I love a Starbucks drive thru. I have a Starbucks in Westchase on Linebaugh maybe only 3 min away, and another on Racetrack road. However I have to walk into the one on Linebaugh and the one on racetrack isn't convenient during school traffic and there's always a long drive thru line. So, I go out of my way to this location on Anderson. It's never busy. They make my geen tea lemonade sand toffee nut mochas correctly. Starbucks at Starbucks yes they have comfy lounge chairs or barstools with high top tables that you can sit enjoy your coffee and enjoy the free Wi-Fi. This particular location is usually pretty packed. Most of the students from Kaiser University and HCC end up studying here so we can ours are not recommended for this particular location because it will be fun. There's an outdoor seating area where you can come and sit with your dogs and it is right in front of the movie theater. read more

I managed a Starbucks in Ca, way back in the early 2000's. Their goal was to have 2,000 stores nationwide. They now have over 20k stores in their repertoire. Everyone knows what to expect when they enter. You know the scene. Wifi surrounded by coffee and tea, sandwiches and pastries. Most SB strive to have a community feel and this one is no exception. Located in the AMC Veterans movie plaza on Anderson Rd, this SB has outdoor seating as well as a convenient drive thru. The baristas here are friendly and proficient. My only beef (pun intended) is that they don't carry almond milk. But in their defense, I was happy to find coconut milk as well as soy. They are open well before other neighborhood coffee shops. Daily at 5AM, w/e at 6AM for you early Java nuts. And they stay open to 11PM most nights and to the witching hour on Fri and Sat. So kids, keep on trucking over to your local Starbucks as I have stock and it continues to grow. read more

I had mobile ordered a drink at 8:10am and went to this starbucks to pick it up. When I got there, I was trying to back into a spot and a woman tried to pull into the spot I was in the process of backing into. I beeped to make sure she saw me and rolled down my window and politely told her that there were lots of spots right there and we could each have one. She flipped me off, got out of her car, and started taking pictures of my license plate. I wasn't concerned because there had been no harm done and we each got a spot so I continued smiling and continued into this location. Now, I know the parking debacle had nothing to do with the service there, HOWEVER I had walked straight over to the order pick up (because I ordered ahead) and she got in line. When she got up to the counter, she started talking about me (very loudly) and pointing at me and the starbucks barista kept telling her that I was so rude to have done that and I shouldn't have done that and then they made some rude remarks about my appearance and giggled like high schoolers. After waiting there until 8:45am and my drink still not being ready, I politely asked one of the baristas how many more drinks were ahead of mine (at this point I was running late to work). Keep in mind that the woman who I had the conflict with in the parking lot got her drink before I had even though I had ordered plenty of time before her. She scoffed at me and told me I had to wait because there were 3 more ahead of me. I went ahead and left because I did not have the time to wait and when I called the store on my way into work and asked for a refund she gave me the worst attitude saying that I would have to call the 800 number because she wasn't willing to help me. When my boyfriend went into the location to get my refund for me while I was at work and he showed her my account she said "oh yeah, the rude girl that almost hit that lady's car." For one reason or another some different locations make the drinks wrong like burning espresso or wrong pump ratios. This starbucks on Anderson has always met my expectations. I forgot how much history I have with this location until they finally messed up my oatmeal with soy this morning. The cashier was new, but the girl on the hot bar remade it perfectly. I came here to relax before my first interview for my current job and here to relax before my first day on the job. Went here after dinner tonight with my sister and a friend. We all got some very yummy treats. I had the chocolate chip cookie which was quite delicious. My sister had the lemon cake. She loved it. And my friend had the banana bread. he said it was really good and he gave me a bite, it was pretty awesome. I had a vanilla latte one of my favorite drinks there. My sister and friend had the Salted Carmel hot chocolates. They loved them. This place is pretty nicely decorated and quite packed. It's obviously very happening little spot. I am sorry to say that I was greeted really poorly if I compare my experience at another Starbucks. I felt a discontent from the other side of the intercom. Without exaggeration, I waited 15 minutes in line before I was able to pay and get my coffee. Now, this is the second time that I experience the same at this location, the first time I thought maybe they were short of staff and decided to give them another try. - Coffee was good, and my order was exactly how I ordered.
