Worst customer service ever. Sunday, February 11th - 12:00 pm I asked a simple question if my coffee was ready since I saw everybody behind me receive their coffee and the barista said, "No, I don't have an order for your name." I told him that I ordered at the front about 5 minutes ago and a VERY RUDE old dirty blonde hair lady aggressively jumps into the conversation and in the most disgusting/rude way says, "Isn't this your order? It's coming out soon." How should I know if that's my order if it's behind the bar and you're just calling it "this order." This *used* to be a great Starbucks. Mobile orders have ruined this place. Counter orders are lost or not filled, drip coffee is no longer served by cashier, and the friendliness of the staff has vanished. Ordered a coffee and tea. They never filled the coffee order and the tea they put in mobile order w/out calling any name. This is the 4th, yes *4TH* time this has happened. Never coming back. All complaints about this joint being slow is just silly. What do you expect when it's a popular joint? The breeze is to just order a simple drink, not something elaborate think about that one. HA Also, when ordering, order the drink size first, then order your drink. This way, the barista can grab the appropriate cup size then write your order on the cup. If you do it any other way, the order is simmering in their head before they can write it on the correct cup size. Thank about that one. HA What was really interesting is that I did notice a few weeks ago that one actually had a choice to select the espresso bean. I noticed this on the menu board written in chalk. Your choices were to choose either the - 1) Signature espresso roach, rich and caramel. or 2) The single-origin espresso from Columbia, nutty and sweet. No other Starbucks I was aware of had this choice. Although anecdotal, I did talk about this choice with another Starbucks in SD and they had no idea! Whether this choice was a trial run or not, I dig it. read more

Clean, fast (especially considering the amount of people there) and friendly. I see one stars given for the people making the drinks not smiling. Well, do you want them socializing with people in line, or making your drinks? One star for people getting their drinks before you? No. I even see the employees on their 10 minute break get in line, order their drink, then wait for theirs to be made in the order received. Simmer down, no one is getting their drink out of turn. I've timed the line from a long one 8 people back and I get my drink in 10 minutes. That's almost a drink a minute and considering how complicated drinks and food have gotten, and how persnickety some "custom" drinks are, (for you people who say "all you do is make coffee, how hard is your job") that's pretty impressive. You guys make my day. I think the reviews reflect the people writing them rather than the Starbucks itself. read more

Slowest service ever! Had to go to Temecula for the first time today - sure as hell made me appreciate LA. Seriously, how long does it take to pour green tea over ice and make a couple of kids hot coco's??? a VERY VERY long time if you are at this location at 8P with an order or two ahead of you. Yes, this is a Starbucks, but it's also the slowest Starbucks I have ever set foot in. The sad thing is I'm currently the mayor of this one on Four Square. Heh. I visit this location the most because of convenience and only that reason, as it's across the street from where I live. I have also resigned to only getting mochas or tea here as they just can't seem to my iced coffee right (all other locations have no issues whatsoever). The two stars are for the friendly people working there, but man, that smile and "what can I getcha?" only goes so far. I have actually faded out my visits to this store and find the Temecula Parkway one to be much more efficient with my time. read more

Ordered a tall mocha on mobile, picked it up and left, had something to do. Felt light when I lifted it so I opened it up and they only filled the 12 oz cup about 70% of the way. There were about 3 fingers worth of space between beverage and the top of the cup. When you're paying close to $5 for a cup of coffee, you expect it to have a reasonable amount of drink. This isn't just "room for cream," this is a large amount of the cup that they just didn't put drink in. If you buy from this store, make sure you open your drink before you leave, they're ripping people off. read more

Slight source of irritation now. Shortly before Christmas we bought two (2) seasonal, refillable mugs for $40.00 each. We saw them in front of the register and overheard another customer purchasing one, and they were told the mug was good for a free refill (one per day) for all of 2019. Wow, what a bargain, we thought, picked up two and bought them, since there were only a few left, and once gone, no more to be had, and at the time of purchase were also told refills good for the whole year...... Comes February 1st, and guess what, Free refills (one per day) only applied to January, not the whole year, as were were initially told (i guess misinformed). Then we read the fine print, and it indeed says only valid until January 31st. So the bargain was indeed too good to be true, and the moral of the story is, no matter what you're told, or no matter what you think you heard, read what it says on the cup, so you don'ts wastes your moneys. My favorite store ever. Baristas know me, will always fix anything that is wrong, offer good alternatives and substitutions.. awesome staff, lots of seating inside and outside, central location. Tips for you unpleasant and impatient people: -Get yourself a card and use the app. It's amazing. Customize your order (be specific if you're changing major things - if you get there and it's not made for whatever reason or it's made wrong, they will happily suggest substitutions or re-make it for you!!), make sure you choose the correct location, order before you get there. It will tell you when you order how long it might take. And your name will always be spelled correctly. Boom. -Speak up! Politely! Use some damn manners, you uncultured swine! Jk kinda. Terrible. Ordered 3 drinks via mobile order. Went to pick up and the store was packed, despite the fact that there are supposed to be restrictions on number of people inside store during COVID- they had no one monitoring. It was very uncomfortable. On top of that, the drinks weren't ready because the baristas were making the drinks for non-mobile orders first which was leading to a bigger crowd. What's the point of mobile order if you have to wait inside even longer? read more

This place seems to be a happening spot on Friday mornings. Its standing room only and the fresh food items are flying off the shelf in lightening speeds. Ordered a bagel, cream cheese and a loose leaf green tea and had to sit on the concrete bench outside to enjoy it. The majority of the tables and chairs were taken inside and outside.
