This is not for the people working at the bar it's for the managers sitting at the table. About 10:30 I was in this Starbucks. It was pretty crowded with 3 baristas. By the cooler was a table with several Starbucks baristas our supervisors sitting around. One was clearly a big wig. She had the nicer professional clothing on. The one female was presenting some kind of binder to the others. Perhaps training although that does not matter. The three of the baristas were going as fast as they could while the several sitting at the table did nothing. This was an incredible lack of support for the staff trying to assist customers and a major lack of support for the staff. I have been in leadership 30 years and if I saw this after helping the baristas move their line the person with the most senior would be written up immediately. The best way to describe it is watching someone drowning and several life guards watching it. Then just when the person goes under water they decide to help. In this case a person with a black apron finally decided to get up and help. So what does this tell me? The management (not leadership) does not support the staff. I come from the school of first one in last one out in other words Servant Leader! The main person dressed professionally should have been first up. By the way I was there for a while and only the one black apron got up to help and that was it. All said it's to bad that the management has lost their idea and definition of teamwork. Helping your fellow staff member, taking control of the situation and providing excellence comes before folders with several people at a small table. I don't expect them to change or even read this but my guess is they will hide the meetings instead of helping the staff. To the 3 baristas behind the counter you are awesome! You made the store look good and the others around the table looked like fools and should be embarrassed. I would have all of you work for me in a minute! Calm, cool and collected even when complaints were being thrown whether your heard them or not. read more

The past few times I've come here, they've messed up my drink order... once because the barista was too busy socializing with the coworkers to actually pay attention to the drink order... once because the cashier wrote the wrong item on my cup. Other times my cup would be sticky on the outside because the barista was sloppy.... This last visit was to redeem my birthday postcard for a free drink (sign up online). They were genuine on wishing me a happy (belated) birthday, but still managed to get my drink order wrong. The extra one star is for them wishing me a happy birthday. read more

I love the location of this Starbucks! There's so much parking (because it shares a big lot with TJMaxx, Guppy House, Applebee's, Sally's Beauty Supplies, and more! It's so convenient to stop by here after shopping or eating dinner. The only thing is, I'll end up drinking my drink in the car. This location gets packed! It's a popular spot, convenient, and there aren't many seats inside (or outside) to start with. Regardless of that, the baristas are always friendly and fast. I'm a fan of this location! read more

I come into here time and time but the set up is the most that I dislike. The tables are a little bit small and everything. The coffee that I do order is a hit or miss depends on who is the one making it soo really on some days Ill have good coffee and then on other days it will taste horrible !! Always really friendly service. Great staff there. Always clean but the patio is a little tight with furniture and faces the direction of the sun in the morning so bring some shades if you plan to sit outside. Good strong wifi. The standard starbuck's fare. Parking is a little tough here sometimes - you can usually find a spot but it is competing against Applebees, Blockbuster, bank, etc. and the other places in the shopping center. Some of the spots seem really tight and it seems like this is one of the worst parking lots in the area as people tend to always park crooked or right next to you.....like the spots are really tight. read more

I'm a Starbucks regular at multiple locations to get a gist of comparisons between locations. This Starbucks is by far the most flawed. +1 star for location. Next to the bank, daiso, Sanrio, and other great shops in the plaza that I frequent. +1 for the drinks and food obviously. Wifi etc. all the things you'd expect At Starbucks everywhere -1 star because this Starbucks has very minimal tables everyday that it's ridiculous. The chairs are uncomfortable after awhile. -1 because the tables are usually dirty. (If you're lucky to get one , that is.). It's Awfully cramped. Minimal shade for the outdoor seating. The outdoor tables are horrible because they're rigid as the design so even if I wanted to stay outside to study, writing on those tables are annoying. -1 star because they are one of the few locations that still don't have enough power mats for free wireless charging. Even minimal wall outlets. Only two tables have the mat. Except the first table is BROKEN. it doesn't work. When are you going to fix it Starbucks?? I'd rather go to a different Starbucks. read more

Parking is terrible here! There is like 5 spots that is shared with a bunch of other stores. Service was friendly even though my order was crazy! I went crazy with my free coffee reward! Venti Flat White, 5 espresso shots & soy milk - $4.75 + 4 +.60 - $9.35 - Not as strong as it seems. Comes with 3 ristetto shots so I added 1 more and 4 extra normal shots. Soy milk adds some sweetness to cut the strength of the espresso. Was still pretty wired after drinking a third of this. read more

The coffee is always delicious here. I think the system set up for gift card transactions should be more clear. My transaction today reflected a subtotal that did not include the gift card payment. The gift card payment is further down on the receipt but the cashier verbally gave us the entire subtotal and said the card had 0 dollars. After calling customer service and trying to figure out where that money went, I checked the bank account and the total was less than what we were given. So we did use the gift card. I would not say this is the employees fault, but the receipt is confusing if you don't use Starbucks gift cards often. Edit: After sitting and watching the dashcam, the cashier did tell us "There was actually nothing on this card." So I thought I was the one who made the mistake but I suppose even she was confused by the gift card set up. Check your receipts. read more

This location has been one of my go-to for as long as I can remember. It's been the place where I use to tutor kids, study or grab a quick drink on the go. And I have to say each visit has been pleasant. In terms of the layout, the space is huge. They have a few tables inside and outside. What's particularly great about this location is that there are some outlets around the room and the Google Starbucks wifi here is speedy quick. The place can get crowded (like all other locations) but with lots of internal praying while constantly semi-awkwardly scanning the room, I was always able to find a spot within 15-20 minutes. Another major perk about this Starbucks is that the have TWO restrooms, which both consistently pretty clean. For anyone who's a Starbucks fanatic, you may have notice that sometimes the wait for the bathroom can feel like forever BUT that's sure not the case here. Attentive staff, prime location, great study spot and DOUBLE the bathrooms? Sure makes one fantastic of a Starbucks location! read more

Just a note: I tried the Iced Tea Lemonade ($2.95/Grande) today and like it -- low caloric value and refreshing! Ambiance: (3/5) Good luck finding seats here -- there are no seats about 70% of the time I come. In addition to the usual free wifi and public restroom, this Starbucks is on the larger side, which lends itself to more tables (about 8 inside; 4-5 outside). It's good for those looking for a place to study/work for a couple hours. They are particularly good about providing electrical outlets here -- there was one every few feet at table-level. My most recent visit was today (a Friday) at 11:40am and there were a few tables available. However, by the time I left at 3:00pm, this place was full to the brim! I still prefer Starbucks in Arcadia and Pasadena though; the customers here are a bit louder and more abrasive. In terms of ambiance, it's like any other Starbucks. The biggest problem I have with this Starbucks is I don't find my drinks to be made very well. I recently got the mocha cookie crumble frap and it didn't have much taste... It was just ice. But I do admit that I like to study here once in a while if it isn't ridiculously crowded. I can't really blame them for that though because the place itself is pretty small. You have to come at a good time to get a good spot. And at least there is free Wi-Fi now! The Starbucks here has got it! :) Consistently great customer service, (and might I say that some of the male workers here are pretty hot behind that counter, yeahhhh) cozy ambiance, and lots of promotions. It's really small here, and the tables are ALWAYS filled up, so come early if you want to steal some space. And don't be shy about sharing. I've met my share of interesting people here, including businessmen, cool teachers, some classmates and alumni, and cute little toddlers with their trendy Asian moms. Prices are rather high, like Starbucks usually is, but I always come back for more. Because, y'know. IT'S STARBUCKS. Happy to be part of the system. The coffee gets done quickly and the people here are always thorough and friendly. The dude in his 30's with the ginger beard especially knows what he's doing. (Sorry, he's the only guy I remember. But it's cool.) Only issue I've ever had with Starbucks is that one of the guys mistook me as a thirteen year old and said something like, "Wow, getting coffee already!" Have placed 2 mobile orders in the last two weeks and both times my drinks were wrong. It's frustrating when we use the app to place a mobile order and I feel like the barista filling to order doesn't read the order before making it. Both times I was running late so I didn't have time to ask the barista to remake my drink correctly. Thank you Starbucks, for always saving me on weekday mornings... but I've gotten a flat white made with whole milk, instead of soy milk, three times now. When I'm in a rush in the wee hours of the morning, I don't have time to ask for a re-do. Sadly, I am lactose intolerant, so I can either deal with a very unhappy tummy, or throw my $5.25 down the drain. Both options are pretty depressing, as you can see. Sorry this is a rushed review, but this is quite possibly the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. I'd recommend you try somewhere else or a different location. So this is about 9:25-9:30 pm ish on a Friday and my friend and I just had dinner. Please note that we had some leftovers in a box from our dinner. Anyway, we walk in and sit down and I order our drinks off the app because I'm just not that good with social interaction. My friend puts her box of food on the table with no intention of eating it by the way. After ordering, not even five minutes later, one of the baristas loudly announces that outside food is not allowed, which is obviously reasonable, so I had a plastic bag from shopping so I was putting my friend's box in it. I thought that would clearly indicate that we aren't planning on eating it cause of the policy. However, the same barista rudely tells us that if we were planning on throwing the food away, we should not do it here and rather go outside to do so because "it smells." Please keep in mind that this is Vietnamese spring rolls, and they didn't smell (cause they were pretty much cold). My friend and I explained that we weren't planning on eating in the cafe, however she said that our food smelled and that because they worked with coffee, somehow that correlated to the presence of food. Essentially, she stated that we couldn't have food at all. My friend and I offered to sit outside, but she said the patio closed at 10 pm and that it was already closed or something of that manner. Please note that it hasn't even hit 9:30 pm yet. Anyway, since I had already ordered, my friend offered to wait outside and I received the drinks from the other barista who was incredibly sweet about everything. The rude service was appalling however, most of the Starbucks I had been to have had some phenomenal service, this is sadly a let down. So I won't be providing business to this location anymore because that barista was just exceptionally rude. Especially after reading the other reviews about the rude baristas, I'd personally steer clear of this location. read more

Standard Starbucks here. The store itself is kind of small, there is about a mix of 1/2 indoor and 1/2 outdoor seating but there isn't much seating in general compared to some of the other locations in the area. The taste of the drinks are pretty consistent, no complaints there. Parking may get kind of dicey here with the lot being busy at times. read more

The employees act like they are know it all's. They messed up my drink and I tried calling in and they did not answer so I came in and explained the situation the employee Heidi lied that she is a manager and said no I will not fix your drink. Awesome in person service. However, they NEVER pick up their phone for phone orders. Since this location is close to my work, I've honestly tried to call multiple times for different occasions in hopes they would pick up, but never do. So, I'm always going to the Rosemead location which is a few miles down. Trust me, I would do mobile orders but this is under company purchase. I even asked the cashier if they do phone orders still because no one ever picks up and she replied back, "yes we do, but it gets so busy we don't hear the phones." For the morning staff only. I am a HUGE fan of this Starbucks. They are by far the best in the sense that my drinks are always right except the one time but in the months and the 5 days out of the week I go, it's pretty awesome the track record they have with me. While yes I love them for not messing up my drinks, it's really the staff that I appreciate the most. Most know me by name or at least face and they are always so lovely to me when I'm ordering and picking up my drink. Parking is plenty in the morning so that is never a problem I have to deal with so early in the morning. Many seats and tables for you to enjoy your morning coffee. I come here fairly often, and have never had a bad experience. This location, however, is always packed! There are enough tables for a few people to get some studying done. They play pretty good music to distract from the calling out of Starbucks-lingo drinks... "Half caf Americano for Dave!" The patio is spacious and inviting... I'd recommend sharing a cuppa with friends on a nice afternoon. This location even has an toaster oven! It's sad to be impressed by that... This is one of the closest Starbucks locations for me so I have frequented this branch quite often. The staff is nice and efficient to keep all the drinks going in a quick and orderly fashion. There are limited seats available inside and out if you plan to meet friends or do work, make sure you come earlier to save a spot. One thing that I often find slightly disappointing is that the fraps always taste a little differently here, like they are missing something but I'm not sure what.
