I just wanted to say that this is the cleanest, most well-kept, organized and well-run Starbucks out of the whole bay area. I'm there every morning so right there should say something. Lol. I've been going to this Starbucks clear back to when it first opened.

the food and drinks were good as usual. we usually go this spot as we walk around since we're in the neighborhood. it's never been an issue on giving us a Paper Bag for our drinks to carry out.. especially because we order a lot of drinks all at once. We spent over $60 in drinks and had about 10 drinks. I asked both workers if we can get a bag and they said no because of strict policy. While I understand there's a policy, we've only ever asked and received a paper bag when we order this many drinks and walk to this spot... truly rude how these workers couldn't just give a bag to make it easier to walk with 10 drinks. read more

Just want to start off saying thank you to the staff who are always working when my school brings over our middle schoolers during their lunch time, which is before Starbucks has their lunch rush. Yes other days they have a full on staff because they know we are coming and other days they are short staff, but I personally never have a problem with them. Thank you so much to all of you. Nick has always been such a great worker. I believe he has always been working when we all came in. Thanks to you and the whole team. They are always so nice to me. When ever my drink comes out late, they are always saying sorry for the delay. They seem to also always get my drink exactly how I like it. Some places, I don't know if they skimp out on how much white mocha to put or if they accidently use regular beans instead of blonde. I don't know the issue is, but I never have this problem with this Starbucks. I remember when they were training a new barista and they used regular espresso instead of blonde. The trainer asked if was made with blonde and they had an oops face. I told them it was ok, but they insisted in making it how I liked it. I walked out with 2 white mochas. They know me by name and by my drink. They get thrown off if they see me and don't see my specific White Mocha, extra hot, ristretto, blonde espresso. I come here every once in awhile and the hope is that things get better not worse. It always amazes me that people in this business have jobs they don't necessarily like or care about. I order my coffee in the app, however I can't specify how much ice. So I literally did my mobile order, walking through the door. No one was in line, I asked if they had received my mobile order...and they had. So I asked for very light ice. My order requested, grande in a venti cup, so to leave room for my extra cold foam. I see them making my order and the cup is about half an inch from top, not enough room for my cold foam! I say something and so the kid pours out the coffee... Let me just say this, I ordered what I ordered cuz I know it will fit in the cup...not for it to be poured out cuz you didn't follow the order! I'm annoyed because their solution was to pour out the coffee and give me cold foam on the side! WTH! Next time I will just have them remake it! Just disappointed that people don't care... read more

As a previous Starbucks barista myself, this is one of the worst Starbucks around. None of the baristas know how to make a drink correctly and to the Starbucks standard. I have ordered at this store at least 10x in the past year and every drink from hot to iced drinks are all made wrong and gross. Mobile ordered with 7 Splendas and the give me 3 Stevias instead. They just put the 3 Stevias on top of the cover of the coffee. What happens if I go to my car and it's hot and it spills on my lap. I also had to go back inside since the coffee was really cold. They apologized and gave me a new coffee. This is my second time I ordered coffee that they don't have Splenda. I ordered online to pick up on my way to work. Got there with 3 people working. 1 making drinks, 1 taking orders look like the supervisor and 1 stocking food and cleaning up. Since my drink wasn't prepared yet I stood back and waited. Now enters a person who seems to work there but on day off . I can tell due to supervisor giving her crap about not stocking something previous day. 1 guy making drinks is backed up and not the fastest while supervisor lady continues conversation with the other one. Then the guy making drinks starts talking to the other girl too. Everyone talking and and only 1 making drinks but can't talk and work at same time. Today was a joke. Station looked in chaos and unorganized. I had to witness 2 other customers wait patiently just to ask for a straw becauSe they were in such deep conversations. Asked whether they can make a non sweetened matcha latte. Answer: yes. Matcha latte arrived sweet. I inquired how and why, since I specified it should not be sweet. The crew united to inform me that the powder they use is already sweetened. I said they should have specified that when I made my first inquiry. They all, a united front, refused to understand what I am talking about, and sneered at me in ridicule, tried to give me the feeling that I am somewhat retarded. Way you go! This review is for the shift manager, Tatianna. A homeless man came into the store and was acting erratically. He grabbed the empty tip jar on the counter and then he left while yelling racial slurs. Tatianna calmly called the police while doing her job in a professional manner. This young lady deserves a raise!!! read more

I came in, ordered (not busy), and wasn't given my drink and pastry until 20 minutes later. The person making the drinks didn't call my name and left my items on the side of the table. When I finally asked them about my drinks they did not apologize and just slid me my items silently. read more

This place is close to BART station and schools, and could be crowded with people. Obviously because of this, staffs working at this place need to do better job to keep this place clean as much as possible. Today I witnessed flies flying around the working station and a fly was crawling on a lid of mobile ordered coffee. This is the first time I have ever reviewed a Starbucks, but this is by far the kindest, fastest service I have ever run into--a full line to the length of the cafe and only 3 baristas on this last Saturday afternoon. I was nearby and as I happen to be pregnant now, I was at a loss for where to go to use a restroom and find food. With the Covid pandemic, every establishment is closed for that and I felt super traumatized with every business owner turning me away. No public restrooms anywhere. That's fine, honestly if they have poor hygiene then I wouldn't want to go there either. However, I remembered seeing a Starbucks a hike on the road to my destination. I called in. Quick answer--'Yes, we're open--we don't take phone orders but you can walk in, or if you have mobile, you can pick up'. I was floored with gratitude. Honestly other restaurants really don't have public restrooms open at all, other coffee shop and Starbucks franchises included. I know this because I am in a constant state of panic needing a clean WC every 20 min. I've also just moved to the area recently and if there is anything worth rating these days, it's giving credit for basic human kindness. Please tip this store well! They're super kind, doing their best. I quickly placed my order for a full family: my husband, my friend and her two little kids. The line grew and the staff was 'all hands on deck'. I never go to Starbucks. First it's just ridiculously expensive, second I can make better Peets coffee at home. I was desperate though! I was actually driving a bus parked out front. Not supposed to be getting coffee, but I needed it asap to be able to drive safe and stay awake. I noticed one person ahead of me, so I ordered a simple iced coffee. There were three...THREE! 3!!! People in the coffee making area. Only one of them was making drinks?! The other two guys were just stepping back and forth and doing nothing. I finally had to say something...after like three minutes of trying to be polite. I said...hi, I'm literally just waiting for an iced coffee. The teenage kid was like, oh. I probably could've gotten my coffee before that, but I try to be patient. Sigh...I started my life in retail and customer service. When I see a lack of it I will complain. There was not one 'adult' Over seeing these teens while they work. That maddens me! C'mon guys, try to have better customer service! This is not the first bad review I have gave to this location, but it will be the last. It is the closest location to my job, but I guess I will start driving a little further to get a decent drink. The strawberry crème frappe was disgusting and watery and the iced brown sugar oat milk didn't even have the brown sugar pumps inside. It tasted like cinnamon and milk.
