This is probably my least favorite Starbucks but is unfortunately the only one on my way to work.
The staff here tends to be in a bad mood all of the time. They often get my drink wrong (or forget it entirely) and if I correct them I get treated to some ridiculously awful customer service. No matter how many people are working there (one time I counted more than six!) nor how few customers are in line or at the drive thru, the staff always acts panicked like it will be the end of the world if you don't hurry up and order immediately. Then after getting rushed, you get to wait...and wait...and wait until finally they make your drink. Often they will do all of drive thru first and even make drinks for other staff members (seen this happen twice) before getting started on your beverage. I have seen the manager berate her employees in front of customers and the staff seems to constantly be socializing instead of working.
Some of the products here arent especially spectacular either. I have paid for $5+ drinks here that are usually full of grounds from the espresso machine, though I'm not sure if that's a machine issue or an operator error. Seems they don't offer to heat your pastries either which is a service I have found quite nice at other locations.
The store has one redeeming quality though. Theres an older woman who works there and she seems to be the only person in a chipper mood in the morning. It literally makes my day when she is the one to serve me my coffee. She is never rude, always makes small talk when there's no line, and always always always has a wonderful smile on. It's a shame the other employees at this Starbucks do not have the same attitude.
Anyways, if you can I would suggest avoiding this particular Starbucks and take your business elsewhere. It's not worth the high prices to get such poor service. read more
