Every weekday, i work a 9-5 and commute an hour away. That means i need my fix of starbucks. so almost every morning i go to this starbucks and order almost the same thing haha. Everyone here is fantastic. Josh and Robin always stand out with their smiles and kindness. A big thank you to them! My mom told me about the starbucks closed to the office where we work, and i'd rather take a few extra minutes to see everyone's familiar faces and smiles. It really brightens up my day! Ehhh it's Starbucks with a catch, one of the main reasons Starbucks charges SO much for a cup of coffee is because of their customer service ;however, in this location that may or may not be the case. Depending on who helps you might think "wow that's a great person" or "wow what a dick" regardless the location for this Starbucks is great and that's why it's usually packed. It simply sucks that the person at the register might affect how well you enjoy your coffee. read more

I come here several times a month for a cup of joe. This is my go to Starbucks for 9 years. The workers here are polite, they make sure I get my coffee quick with the right order. I've come here to study on Friday nights, and It's nice because it's not crowded. The bathroom is always clean which is a plus. It gets on my nerves when some business don't fill the soap, especially when it's a fast food place, but not this place, it's nice and sanitary. (This is random, but when I put the paper cover over the toilet it always moves! I don't like that. I guess the air hits that spot.lol). Yes, super random. I read some of the comments below which rate the business based on the baristas. I guess it depends on what kind of customer you are. I'm pretty easy with my coffee request. This place gets extremely busy especially when school kids get out of class (I can't believe kids in middle school and high school drink coffee, even little toddlers!) I don't blame the baristas, cause I can understand coffee feans can get a pretty nasty attitude when they don't get a hit of their drug in the morning. (yes, caffine is a drug). My wife and I are retired and we love to travel throughout the Country. In our travels, we've visited many Starbucks in such locations as; Maine, Minnesota, Rhode Island, Colorado, New York, Seattle, Ft. Bragg, CA, Laguna Beach and many others, but this Starbucks in my opinion is rated the best ever!! The staff/baristas are very friendly and they all remember my order, a "Tall Pike" as my drink of choice. If you're looking for a hot bagel with butter or cream cheese or hot breakfast sandwich, I would recommend you get your breakfast in Walnut at this location. The breakfast items are a great way to start your day. I usually stop in during the morning at least 5 days a week. On Sunday mornings, my wife and I stop in and have coffee with a group of friends that have become great friends because of Starbucks. This is sadly the worst statbucks I have been too. I ordered a bread asked for it warm instead they forgot put it in a bag and when I about to ask if that was my bread that this dumb girl was holding a guy said yours will be right out and what was actually what I ordered was handed to someone else. Come here sometimes to study. Tables are small and often there are no spaces. Also limited outlets Of the two times I've been here to get free drinks, barista was not happy about it. I'm not sure why she cares if I get a free drink or not but she looked like she wasn't happy handing out free stuff. First time coupon wouldn't scan, she wouldn't give it to me. So I loaded it up on my computer and it worked. Second time for the Caramel Macchiato, said in a nasty tone I needed the coupon with barcode or emailed to me. Doesn't say that anywhere on the coupon Starbucks should honor the coupons they hand out. Would have made me come here more or maybe even buy a drink if she was even friendly enough. read more

Starbucks addict here I always get an iced chai, it's my favorite go to and the baristas here always make it sooo perfect and extra creamy. I mostly go to the one near cal poly and near Panera, and I've gotten to know 3 baristas so far here: Marissa, Elijah, and Desi! Marissa and Elijah always have the best energy when I walk through the door. When I see them, I know my drink's about to be elite. I mostly see Desi nowadays because I come in earlier, she is always so positive, and she has the cutest bee pin on her apron. Plus her eye makeup is just chef's kiss and it always makes my day whenever I come in! I love this Starbucks store, but I gave it 2 stars because I did notice I think another Starbucks employee, an older lady with brown hair, scolding one of the other baristas in front of all of us customers. It's just really awkward for us customers to see that and it kind of kills the vibe and my mood. Also as a previous barista a long time ago, I know exactly what this feels like and it just makes you not want to work anymore, especially when you're already stressed out and backed up with mobiles and cafe orders. Been going to this Starbucks since high school. It's very ok. Service is generally fast and drink quality is what you expect from starbucks. Wifi is available so a lot of students are here but seating isn't a terrible problem usually. My biggest complaint is how dirty it is. There's drink spills all over the floor and tables aren't cleaned even if it isn't busy. Yeah they have a wet floor sign out but why not just clean up the spills instead of just leaving them? Not my favorite Starbucks but the location is convenient. read more

Terrible service at the counter. Came inside at about 10:30 am with no less than 5 Starbucks employees working. Not a single employee acknowledged myself and others in line. After 5 minutes of no one coming to take an order I gave up and went thru the drive-thru as that was the only way I was going to get a drink. As I received my drink I could still see people that were behind me still waiting for someone to take their order. I complained to the woman at the drive thru window and her response was "sorry we are busy". When I asked for a manager she rolled her eyes and said the manager is "Steve" but you can't talk to him as he is on vacation. Well Steve if you read this you really need to leave someone in charge that cares about customer service. I am glad there are other locations close by and I don't have to visit this location. read more

I ordered a peppermint mocha and asked for no peppermint syrup and no mocha sauce during the 50% off peppermint mocha promotion. Yeah I know... that essentially makes it a cafe latte, which was what I really wanted. The supervisor wasn't amused and asked the young man at the register "what are you doing?" that resulted in him ringing it up as a cafe latte. Boooooo. I ended up getting a peppermint mocha with a single pump of peppermint syrup and a single pump of mocha. I would be more satisfied if she had been more flexible about my order or had shown more professionalism in the way she handled it but she made no effort to hide her distain either at her staff or at a customer or perhaps at the both of us. Actually location makes a big difference in terms of clientele. I'm not a huge fan of this one because of the lack of parking (most parking spots are 1hour limit or employee). The staff are really nice but you get some really random Mt.SAC kids come in. A lot of FOBs come in and talk really loud too. On the plus side, there is lots of outdoor seating and power plugs! So it's a good place to bring your laptop. read more
