I really love this location. I have been going to Starbucks since 2000, and this is one of the best locations. Fast, efficient customer service at the drive through. Customer service is great, people are friendly and Selina goes out of her way to make you feel like an appreciated and valued customer. Consistently poor service and bad attitudes. I actually waited 25 minutes for an order that got messed up twice. This was not the first time this has happened. The large woman who claims to have been there for two years has a very poor attitude and shouldn't be working here at all. When I'm paying this kind of money to treat myself; I don't need attitude from anyone behind the counter because they keep getting the order wrong. And we're not talking about something hard either. This location is simply the worst Starbucks in Walnut. You can drive out of the way to about 3 other locations within 5 miles of here and get 100% better service. This is actually a cute place. I've never been to this area. outside the little plaza, traffic looks very busy with a railway nearby. Doesn't look like a city scene to me, I was hoping no monster would come out to scare me. I saw their drive-thru, I hoped they have walk-in as well. And then I saw a lady coming out with a drink, I felt more confident. After I opened the door, I was overwhelmed by what in front of me: a warm decoration, moderate noise with some people talking about business and some people reading or working on computer. Really a great place. But I don't think their wifi works, but it's ok, I have my secrete weapon to solve the problem. ;) Get your drink here and relax. read more

Been here a couple times all because of the convenience of their drive thru, but all very disappointed with the quality of their drinks. Trenda ice coffee - 2/5 definitely tastes very watered down, I asked for hazelnut syrup with soy, it didn't have enough pumps of syrup or something, just didn't taste right. Strawberry açai berry refresher- 2/5 definitely watered down, I even asked for lite ice. I didn't want to go back in the store to ask them to redo my drinks, since that was the whole point of me using the drive thru so I would not have to park and go in the store. This experience is all so similar at a different Starbucks drive thru in City of Industry, seems like they are not afraid to sacrifice quality they know they will still be popular with the drive thru. Will probably still use the drive thru only next time I happen to pass by and was in need of a Starbucks drink. ( I really have other options only if I was not so lazy ) but I will really try to get it at a different Starbucks which is only less then a mile away. read more

I went to this location for the very first time last week. It's actually closer to our hub than the other Starbucks I frequented so this one will likely be seeing me more often. The place is located at a busy interaction so it's not the easiest to get in and out of the parking lot. The store itself was very clean in spite of being very busy. I felt the staff was more on top of cleaning off tables and the floor than typical. The moved the line quickly and I agree with some of other reviews that they staff seemed more upbeat than normal. I think Starbucks in general give a real consistently good customer service but it was better here. My drink was accurate and typical quality. Felt like a really good place to work also with variety of seating. I did not plug in but there were plenty of places. Bathroom was clean and temperature was comfortable. read more

Nice! I really like this bright, new Starbucks. I love the drive-thru option, which is very convenient as it's right on my way to work. There's also a good amount of indoor seating (not to mention the outdoor tables as well) and even a cute little counter with high stools along the side of the barista bar. Granted, they did get my salted caramel hot chocolate order wrong, and gave me a coffee instead, but I'm willing to be gracious as I'm guessing a lot of the staff is new and still in training. For now, 4 stars for a great location, drive-thru option in Walnut, and awesome interior. Looking forward to getting work done here in the future! read more

It seems like Starbucks is on everyone's schedule when they are in the mood for a quick pick-me up or simply need to find a place to kill time. That's why I come here. I enjoy coming to this one because first, my mechanic is just down the street and he takes a while to do maintenance on my car; two, the Barista's here are friendly and try to move as quickly as possible and three, this place is updated with the latest and greatest. The staff here are perky, kind and always acknowledge the people in line (which is great!). I feel like they are always acknowledging the long lines and thanking people for waiting in their sometimes chaotic lines. I applaud the manager of this establishment as well as the trainers who train the new on-coming barista's because I've never had a problem with the taste of ANY of my drinks, ever. The only downside of this place though, which is why I gave it 4 stars, is this Starbucks gets INSANELY cold. The tables that are aligned near the wall seem to get a blast of cold air all the time. Even in the summer when I come here I need to bring a sweater because of how cold it gets. I know the temperature is a selling tactic to buy more hot coffee but this Starbucks is ridiculous when it comes to the temperature inside. My fingers are numb as I type this review (no joke). So overall, if you are coming into the store to just grab a quick cup of coffee and leaving, you'll have a great experience with the overly-friendly staff, but if you're going to be in the place for a while just be prepared to freeze!! read more

This Starbucks is placed in an odd area in my opinion. I always go to Ten Ren's next door but for those early mornings this is a great place. Since they have a drive thru, their inside seating is empty! And even if it was crowded, there's a good amount of tables and seats inside (~26 seats). They have those long tables here if you have a big group and an outlet in almost every wall. It's like 50 degrees outside and the AC is on here! I'm freezing :( read more

idkk why everyone is so rude there:/ we placed a mobile order about 3 min before we got there because we just happened to get there faster than expected. when we got to the speaker box, i said my name for the order and the dude was like "uhh so when u place mobile orders we need like 5-10 min to make " and then we said we were so sorry (there was nobody behind us).... so we go to the window and this lady was like **rude tone btw like damn** "you need to give us like 10-15 min to prepare your drinks like next time just give us ur order at the speaker box" (it was 2 regular iced caramel macchiatos too like what)... so i was like okay you got two people telling me the same thing i get it okay i wasn't upset about it . and the drinks came out within 1 min of her complaining why it takes 10-15 min to make our drinks ??? doesn't make sense. horrible customer service. won't be coming here again. didn't let it ruin my day tho :) read more

The staff contribute to a friendly atmosphere. Everyone is nice and polite, and this is a good place to have meetings or study. Often crowded though, and the tables are a bit small. Takes absurdly long for just a cup of coffee and/or any food. Every single time I've ever come, I ordered through mobile order expecting it to be ready because it takes me 10 minute to get there but when I get there, low and behold, none of my items are ready. They also are frequently running out of items which I understand, but they can at least come up to the person and say they're out of that item before I literally wait in there for 35 minutes waiting for my plain bagel. If you're in a rush, go through drive thru unless you've got 20+ minutes to spare waiting for your cup of coffee. read more

This Starbucks is my go to! Everything is great my drinks come out the way they are suppose to. Never out of my items I order. I do mobile order and it's always out before I get there and I literally live down the street. 3 min away from them and still all my items are available :) love this store and don't understand how people say they wait so long. And if you are waiting for 35 min or more then obviously you come in and don't ask for help you just wait as if they can read your mind. I have never been to a Starbucks location that's so slow and made so many mistake. I order an ice white chocolate mocha with soy and I was given a mocha frappe. I asked for a pink drink with NO ice and was given ice. Once I told her to fix it, she just took off ice & add milk. My third drink was a green tea matcha with strawberry base. I given an ice green tea latte ice. Once I told customers to fix it she just gave me attitude. I love Starbucks but this by far the worst service I have ever gotten. Let me preface this by saying I love Starbucks and have been to dozens of locations. This location is the closest to my house and unlike most of the others , my order is almost always wrong. I don't order anything complicated either - cold brew with no sugar and a bit of milk or a normal frappuccino - yet anything I get is usually the wrong thing. I don't know if this is a training location but if so they need more managers to oversee the baristas. I don't even have a name label with my order half the time. This afternoon I was given someone else's drink once again - it has sugar and I can't drink it. I've wasted so much money on things I can't drink or that taste terribly and it breaks my heart because I love Starbucks but I'm done wasting my money at this location. One of the worst Starbucks. Ever. The only reason I frequent this location is because it's close to my home. But that's it! Almost all of my orders (usually drive thru) have been wrong or messed up. They also lack efficiency. Sometimes I'm stuck in the drive thru for over 20 mins. I give them the extra star because as lousy as the service is, the employees are generally nice people- they just have a hard time being baristas. Some recurring gripes include messy cups and/or leaks from under the rim of the lid, slow service, messed up drink and food orders, and they ran out of sugar-twice! I dislike giving negative reviews but this Starbucks is no longer new and they should have a handle on how their business is run. Maybe management needs to be reassessed... This is my new go to Starbucks since it's close to my daughters school and it's a drive thru. I like it because the drive thru line is always short and goes by quick. The drinks are always on point.
