Beware of dishonest business practices here. When you buy a cup of yogurt, they're supposed to tare (reduce the weight) by 0.5 ounce to account for the weight of the cup so that you're only paying for the yogurt itself. If you are paying for multiple cups at once, they should be reducing the weight (0.5 oz) by however many cups are on the scale, but they don't. We called them out on it and they said that's just how they do it, and we had the option of doing separate transactions for each cup. Might seem minor, you're overpaying by about 50 cents per cup, but it's just a matter of principle. This is the only franchise I've been to that does it this way and is cheating the customer. I've been to this location about 1 years ago. I had brought myself and two children we purchased 3 cups of frozen yogurt not full and paid about $32 I thought it was an odd price and very expensive. 7/30/2026 myself and my oldest wanted frozen yogurt this is the closest location around us. I usually try to stay away from this location specifically because of how expensive it seemed the one time we went two years ago but didn't wanna drive too far and figured maybe it was that one time I go charged an arm and leg. This time around it was still very expensive again. $21.43 for frozen yogurt for two half cups not even full .?!! I'm not sure what going on but it way to expensive and the candy is old and not name brand. The yogurt is melted. Its not like the other locations Ive been too the cashier lady never gives you receipt of purchase so that makes it more odd like why not give someone their receipt unless they say they dint don't want it that's understandable. I had to ask for my receipt last time and only reason i remember to ask is to look over it and see what's going on with the price. We went to this Yogurtland after we visited the Daiso in the same plaza. (We usually go to the Yogurtland in Walnut.) This Yogurtland is big inside but also looked outdated and it didn't have efficient AC when it's in summer time. Their lighting is always off and it seems like they try to save on energy. Anyhow, it's close to St. Patrick's Day, so they have a seasonal exclusive of the Lucky Irish Mint Frozen Yogurt flavor. We got different flavors of Lucky Irish Mint, Boba Milk Tea, and Pistachio. We always like Yogurtland even though their prices are not cheap. We always spend more than $20 there. I used their Yogurtland app today to redeem their $5 reward, and they also gave me a birthday treat to enjoy a free cup of froyo to celebrate (worth up to $5 off on a birthday treat). I just had Bacio di Latte the other day and paid less for divine gelato with the works for 2 people. I was looking for signage on how much they charged per ounce, but didn't see anything. After paying, we asked for a receipt and the lady said she was out of paper. We asked that the receipt be emailed or texted and she said it's a new system and it couldn't do that. We went here for dessert to cleanse our pallette after having dinner. We walked in to get the cups/bowls and was totaly emptied out. There was no sign saying where to pick them up. No communication. We had to ask the employee. Employee said that ever since covid happened, we have all the cups up front by us for the last 6 years. This is the most ridiculous answer we have ever heard. All the other Yogurtlands we have been to have the cups in their rightful place. I feel the owner wants to control everything. Nickel and dime. They're trying to cut corners. I hope the franchise company take them out or retrain because we are unhappy. Don't come at night. Super dark. Super dangerous. They are trying to save electricity it looks like. Wow!! The toppings are very stale/old, the yogurts are all melted, and I've seen better real name brand topping choices elsewhere. The lights are always off and very hot inside the store. Maybe trying to save money on utility bills? I also didn't like the service I received from the older lady (owner). She was incredibly helpful since the moment we walked in the door and explained why their store had all these unique toppings that other stores didn't have. When you enter you have to get yogurt cups behind the counter by the worker. No sample cups at this location so you better know what you want. No issues with getting the yogurt or toppings. Not sure if this is normal but I felt it was a tad overpriced at 88 cents an oz. I got supposedly 10 oz and paid $9.50 for what I thought would be maybe $6 amount. Maybe times have changed and Yogurtland prices have just gone up dunno. Overall the lady behind the counter was super nice but I might need to stop going to Yogurtlands if these are truly the prices now. First off they don't allow sample cups. My Husband asked for one to try a new flavor and she stated they don't do that anymore. There is a sign up next to the flavors that says to ask for a sample cup. Take it down if you're not going to give any out. Secondly, the topping bar was a mess and a few items were out. There were 2 flavors that were also out. The whole time we were there the worker, who I think is the owner, was just in the back until we came up to pay. The restrooms were blocked off and there isn't free water like every other yogurtland has. Lastly, they don't have prices listed anywhere. We were surprised when we got to counter and she told us the total! We came home and weighed our yogurt to see and she's charging $1 an oz! That's crazy. Never again. I get that prices of things are going up but if that's the case, make sure you're transparent and posting them so we're not blindsided by it. When I asked the cashier (whom I later found out was the owner) how many ounces were weighed she said it was almost a pound, however there is no weight indication on the receipt. She originally was charging $18.33 and when I asked questions about the cost per ounce she said .93 cents then she said "I'll round it down to 18". When I asked her why prices are so inflated she said her rent has gone up. I told her that she is not transparent with her customers about the weight and the cost per ounce.....this is not an honest business. There were two or three other groups of people sitting in various tables during my visit and everyone appeared to be enjoying their yogurt. This location is very expensive. My two cups cost $22...where at other location only cost me max $14....for the same amount of yogurt and topping. The worst case....when my son wants to use restroom, the worker said there's no public restroom. Hello....we just spent $22 there and we are the customer not random people. Weird customer service. It's our local spot so it's unfortunate. If nickel & diming was a business it would be this one. Not sure how franchising works at Yogurtland but charging for promos like stickers and their limited spoons and such, and like weirdly hoarding them(?) should be against the rules yeah? You don't get your own cups, the one employee is always in the back so you have to wait, they perpetually are out of flavors, and when you get to the register you have to again...wait and then kind of have a weird energy convo with the employee. How times have changed... As of April 2024 froyo is now 89¢ per ounce. What used to cost me $5 for a full small cup was now over $13. More than double 2 years ago... Ok for the pro: this place is very clean. Toppings section is always neat. I think they keep the portions smaller so customers aren't digging too deep resulting in mushy fruits or damaged goods. Yogurt dispensers were very clean and all seemed to be working well. Guests tables were fairly clean as well. Last behind the counter was always smiling and very kind. Plenty of parking in the plaza Cons: no sample cups. I'm sorry, what!??? We are past COVID restrictions of sanitation issues. I presume that because they keep the yogurt cups behind the counter as well, all these changes are to prevent guests abuse of wasting cups or over indulging in samples. This store absolutely gave me the vibe they are "cheap" to put it bluntly, but I can't blame them. EVERYTHING is expensive now, it's hard to indulge anymore. The interior of this location is nice and clean. The person working was friendly. I am giving it 2 stars because there is a sign that says to ask for a sample cup to try other flavors and when I asked for one sample cup for my kid to try a new flavor, the worker said they do not give samples at their location. I did not see any signage indicating that. At every other Yogurtland location I have been to, they always offered sample cups. The worst experience EVER at a yogurtland. Walked in at 9:20pm. No sample cups, small variety of flavors. The toppings looked all over the place, as they were already putting toppings away for the night. Mind you, they close at 10pm. I asked if they had cookie dough. The employee said she already put it away. Offered to take my cup back to the back to fill it up herself. Eww.. I declined that. She continued putting toppings away, I'm assuming she was closing the store early. Bathrooms were closed off.
