I'm a regular on this starbucks because they're always good. But today I had a shocking experience. I ordered decaf ice latte with extra toppings. But nothing added. No butter brittle, no whipped cream, no extra ice, and no straw. Also according to the cashier, they're out of decaf latte, so he made ice latte from the hot decaf. This turned to be just a sugar-free vanilla syrup light brown color something. No taste. Not even cold. I'm sorry, but this was too shocking. I wonder if Starbucks isn't doing well recently. I went for a starbucks late and decided to sit at the dining table when of the workers which was a young female she was extremely loud with the other workers while you had customers trying to work on their computers there was a point she was yelling and laughing telling the workers to "OMG SHUT UP" and then what was the worst of all is when she came out from behind the register and brought out chick fil a and started eating on the table and began to put her feet on the table while she was eating and talking to the workers loudly as every customer is trying to enjoy their drink. I've come to this Starbucks location a handful of times but only in drive thru. Finally visited here on my weekly walk with some mama friends to get out dose of Starbucks drink which we often do on our walks. This use to be a Carl's Jr. before it became a Starbucks. Boy oh boy, this is one of the biggest Starbucks I've gone to. Really big spacious with lots of seatings available indoor and a few tables outdoor. It's so cute that they even have a library to borrow/take books and bring some books in. Which I plan to do on my next visit when I come to the Vons for grocery shopping in the same plaza. Me and my mama friends got the Mango dragonfruit refresher. They informed us they ran out of the fruits. But it taste the same. So i gave it a try and it Taste really different without it. Even my son who loves the refresher says it too. Having the fruit in it makes a difference. Felt like i was drinking water. Love the crunchiness of the fruit when we take a sip and we get the fruits. Along w the vibrant pink dragonfruit color. It's so pretty. Currently running a challenge in honor of earth day. Not sure when it'll end but Bring in your own reusable cup and receive 25 stars along w $ .10 off your drink. Such a great challenge. Got me chasing stars The staff here are friendly. Found hair in my food and would not let me sit down to eat peacefully. They kicked me out of my seat and said I couldn't sit anywhere. :(

My daughter ordered a drink for pick up. When we came and picked up the drink, she asked for a cup of ice to go with it. The barista wouldn't just give us a cup of ice, but said we have to wait in line to order it. The line ended up taking 7 minutes . The entire reason we did online pick up was because we were in a hurry. I asked them again if we could please just have a glass of ice and they told me no, we have to stand in line. Ended up being at Starbucks for over 10 minutes for a drink that was ready when we walked in. How much time would it have taken to just fill a glass of ice and hand it to us? read more

And lacked actual beverage. I feel as though they put a small size in my large size and tried to cover it with extra ice. Now I'm no coffee expert, but often when I come here the espresso tastes burnt. I learned to order my drinks with a *light splash* of creamer because when you request a splash they pour an entire milk carton in. So I ordered my drink and went in to pick up and to my disappointment it was almost white aka pure creamer. I've watched the baristas pour the creamer/milk in on prior visits waiting for mine and I learned how much they actually pour. If I wanted milk or pure creamer I'd just go to the store to get some. I can't even taste my coffee with the amount that's in there. Really bummed because I ordered coffee due to a migraine and this isn't going to help with it. Luke has a terrible attitude and is very rude, especially to people in the drive through, I've ordered twice and have never spoken to someone who just doesn't care at all about a customer and their order. Please find someone that actually has some type of energy, any type. I wanted to order a drink the first time and he claimed it was "too hard" and "complicated" to make when I ordered it many times before at other places and it was made successfully and without fuss. I ended up with a drink he "could make" and didn't even like it. The second time I go to order something a week later and gives me awful and cold responses. Customer service can be a hit and miss here sometimes. It's a decently busy location with a drive thru & today I stopped in and waited a few minutes at the register before I was helped. I had three employees look my way while they were busy but no one said a word to me. There was one other customer behind me in line and he made a comment to me about how they saw us but did not acknowledge us. I think we may have caught them during a drive thru rush because after that a barista rang me up for my items. He did apologize for the wait so I guess it's all good. 4/21 at around 8pm, placed a mobile order and was met with very bad customer service. barista who answered at the speaker had a very rude tone and i asked if we were able to get a pup cup because we couldn't order one through the app. she said "yeah" and then that was it. we came up to the window and nobody said anything to us for about a few minutes. after that, someone finally came up to us and gave us the wrong order, and proceeded to say "my bad". then came up with our drink, and we had to remind her about the pup cup. she went to go grab it and took about another few minutes. we could see the baristas in the window just talking, kinda looked like they were messing around. she then gave it to us and we said thank you, no "you're welcome" "have a good one", she didn't say anything and was just super bland. wasn't sure if it was the same barista that answered us at the speaker, but was just met with overall horrible service either way. literally made a yelp account to make this review because i've never had service this bad read more

I semi-frequently stop by this Starbucks to use as a "third place" whenever I need a change of environment to get work done or pass the time. The location gets a lot of foot traffic, mainly from students and families, but the interior is very big so it's usually not hard to find a table to sit down on. I have visited this store at least 5 times a week for the last almost 2 years. I will never come back again. It's misting today and someone spilled coffee out front of the store. There are signs that say "wet floors" but it's beyond wet. I literally just fell down in front of 20 people sitting outside and they all said someone else just fell too. Now don't get me wrong. It's not the fact that I fell that I'm so upset. When I walked into the store to tell them that it's very slippery and I fell 3 associates completely disregarded me and walked away. Their response was "it's wet outside." Yes that is true but when I grown woman falls down and gets hurt you don't disregard them. Not one of them asked me if I was ok. I came in around 8:30 am and cafe was not too busy. The food came out in two separate occasions we ordered a double smoked bacon and the new pesto sandwich. The double smokes came out first and we had to wait for the pesto sandwich for almost 5 minutes after the first sandwich. We had to go to the warming station to ask for it as we could see it just sitting on the counter. I ordered a iced white mocha and the drink was not mixed. All the white mocha was gathered at the bottom and not swirled with the espresso. We had also ordered a pumpkin loaf and a coffee cake and got the pumpkin loaf first but had to wait almost 10 minutes for the coffee cake. Why would one have to wait literally 6 min. To ask for a straw! I don't understand why the straws have to be on lock down behind the counter. The employees don't make eye contact, for fear of being accosted by a customer, so they don't see you begging for their attention to simply get a straw. Let's work this out! This is....well it's a Starbuck's. You get what you would get at any Starbucks. They great thing about this one is the decent drive through, however once it extends into the parking lot, it can be confusing as you can enter from two directions. Unfortunately, with two high schools nearby and many work from home people in Yorba Linda, the place is usually packed. Inside, the seating area is huge. This used to be a Carl's Jr. but with the refurbishments when Starbuck's took over, the seating area is huge. They staff has always been really nice and efficient. Again the big draw for me is the drive-through. I love fall because they offer the Salted Carmel Mocha Frap. Those a great. I'm a black coffee guy and Starbuck's coffee is rather plain to me. Frills like frothy foam, sweeteners and such don't change this fact. read more

It's time for a long overdue update! This Starbucks relocated a few years ago just a few stores down and now occupies the former Carl's Jr. space, so it's now enormous! The seating area is one of the most spacious I've EVER seen in any Starbucks and I love the drive-thru, despite the fact that it does get super crowded. Nonetheless, the design is still much better than other Starbucks drive-thru locations! Service has seemingly improved over the years and it seems like they're now more adequately staffed, given their much larger space. They still frequently seem to run out of items, such as certain types of tea or milk, which is still a big area of opportunity for them to improve upon. Otherwise, I love the giant open feel of this location now, as it actually makes you want to sit down, stay, and enjoy a cup of coffee (with refills if you're a Gold member!). read more
