Wow I loved both the egg florentine sandwich and the Vietnamese coffee. I got the sandwich on a jalepeno cheddar bagel and added cream cheese. The flavor was phenomenal although admittedly a bit "slippery" the egg was sliding around a bit from the cream cheese while eating but I made it work and enjoyed every bite. I really liked the tomato and mushroom included in the sandwich. The coffee was a generous size and flavor was as expected and very refreshing. Not too sweet. What a delightful surprise, I wasn't expecting to be this blown away from what I got. I'll be back! read more

I guess this is a small chain, but my first time trying one. It is in a very tight and busy retail strip more in an industrial zone. It seems to be ran by an Asian family who knows how to hustle. Very effiecient, fast and with a friendly vibe. Been in twice and I can be a somewhat regular. Eggwich Deluxe ($9/3.5*) This is a pretty loaded/heavy bagel sandwich. I got one once on the way to a golf round and I was stuffed most of the day. This ain't no dainty 3 biter Egg McMuffin. Lol. I chose an 'everything' bagel and for some reason that day it was kinda dry and didn't seem like a proper bagel texture. Sure there was a little chew but nothing like a proper bagel should have. To me it almost seemed more bread-like, which was a disappointment. There is a good amount of scrambled egg which is super soft and fluffy. Menu says cheese, spinach, mushrooms and ham. I subbed bacon for ham. I loved the texture of everything as it was so fluffy, soft and quite hot (thermally), so ya just knew it was very fresh, not premade sitting around. But the flavor to me was a bit too bland, the mushrooms, spinach and eggs just tasted like exactly those, with zero seasoning. And I thought maybe the bacon and cheese would add some saltiness but not really. It still was a very filling and nourishing brekkie sandwich, but not one that would make me crave it. Even though I was skeptical on their bagel quality, I gave them another shot. This time a Lox and Cream Cheese on a Jalapeno Bagel ($12/4*). So glad I gave them another whirl cuz this was spot on legit. Bagel this time was warm and chewy without being hard anywhere. Had a legit bagel flavor and the pickled jalapenos that were baked right on the exterior actually had serious zing. A generous smear of super soft cream cheese, a proper stack of silky lox which made every bite so classic and satisfying. Also garnished with sliced red onion and capers which I always love with bagels and lox. I can come back for this every 3-4 weeks or so. Trust. Coconut Chia Pudding ($6/5*) First time trying one of these. I think they soak chia seeds in a slightly sweetened coconut milk, which eventually thickens the liquid to a super soft yogurt-like consistency. Except this has no real dairy. Loved the texture and the sweetness level, just hits my adult palate. I think they may top with different chopped fruits, on this out it was whole blueberries and chopped mango. Imma start getting muliples of this and just stock my fridge, either for a breakfast boost or even as an after dinner dessert. I haven't tried their coffee yet but that can come within time. Still gotta try their Garlic Bagels and another pastry like a Raisin Swirl or Cherry Danish. Welcome to my rotation. read more

we had no clue there was a posh bagel in hayward, we usually go to the Castro valley location since it's closer to us but we were in the area so we stopped by. This posh bagel location is so cute and has some seating available inside. There is parking available in the lot too. I ordered two lox bagels on jalapeño & cheddar bagel, that came with onions tomatoes & capers. My husband wanted his bagel without capers & light cream cheese, and the staff was very kind with their welcome & also considerate by labeling the bagels. Bagels were delicious, perfect ratio of cheddar to jalapeño, the veggies were fresh, & I was surprised with the complimentary chips which were also tasty! Convenient and quick! I have ordered from this posh bagel on DoorDash before but just recently got to check it out in person. It's in a plaza right off the freeway so it's super convenient if you need a quick breakfast to/from wherever you're going. The parking lot is big but a lot of spaces are blocked for different shops so just keep an eye out for that. I usually go for the sausage bagel sandwich and it's always good. It is a little more expensive than I'd usually want to pay for a breakfast sandwich, coming in at almost $10 or more. They have a lot of options for drinks too: bobas, coffees, bottled/canned drinks. Even during busy hours, they can be pretty quick. On a weekend morning, I had to wait maybe 10 min. If you plan to stay awhile, they have a lot of tables inside and some outside. read more

I don't like coming here because they always treat me badly, like they don't want me to buy anything. Any time that I come in the morning they don't give me any type of customer service or anything. Whether it's the breakfast burrito(minus the salsa) or the bagel breakfast sandwiches, this place doesn't disappoint. The coffee here is good too, the special French being my go to. They also have sweet baked goods for days when you're feeling greedy. It's really nice to have a neighborhood spot to relax in while you have your coffee and scroll through your phone. Messed up my order and a fairly slow day (2 people in store) First and last time for sure!

So I initially visited this place a couple times in the past few months and was pleased with the service and quality of the food. My go-to here is Lox on a garlic bagel. Unfortunately, my 3rd visit was a total opposite experience. The personnel were not pleasantly welcoming and the quality of my order was way off. I politely asked the asian lady that assisted, why is the amount of Lox significanty less that what I've received before. She shrugged, took the sandwich, and spoke in a different language to the asian gentleman, reopened the sandwich and appeared to add more Lox. It was too early in the morning and not worth my having a back and forth encounter that when she handed my sandwich back, quickly walked away, I decided I too would walk away without any further dialog with them. As I opened up the sandwich again, I noticed nothing was added. I think this was an off day for the team here so I hope they read this and make adjustments so no one has to experience what I did. read more

Look, there is nothing more you can ask for out of Posh. The food is delicious, the restaurant is clean and I was happy to see it bustling in the morning on a Sunday. I got the Lox bagel to compare it to the previous one I had the day before, and it was decent. The reason why I say so is the amount of cream cheese ratio to the rest was a bit overwhelming but that can easily be fixed by asking for lighter amounts when you order. Something I def recommend doing. From what my friend said they're known for their breakfast sandwiches, so Ill give that a shot next time we come back. I've DoorDashed multiple times from this location but finally dropped by on a busy Wednesday morning to avoid delivery fees. Lots of interesting folks grabbing breakfast in the early hours, especially local officers. Everyone seems to love it here! Soo many bagel choices, sandwiches, pastries, pre-packed salads, Italian sodas, smoothies, even flavored boba teas! I find myself craving their OG everything bagel with plain cream cheese. I'm fortunate the employees that fulfill my order give a generous smear of cheese. They toast it just right and go to town with spread. The fam loves the Eggwich Deluxe with spinach, mushroom, scrambled egg, and ham, hold the cheese. I forgot to get bacon on my Eggwich Florentine (same as deluxe but with sliced tomato instead of ham). Oh well, next time. Default cheese is cheddar but they also have Swiss, pepper Jack, and provolone. I also tried the plain bagel dog and cherry turnover. Seems like the hot dog is from Costco but no complaints because it was flavorful and juicy! Turnover needed more filling though. I want to try the blueberry & cream cheese Danish next. Other breakfast sandwiches I've had: sausage and egg with cheese, plus prosciutto with fresh mozzarella, spinach, and tomato. The latter comes with a handful of chips. The place itself is clean, enhanced with natural sunlight. Good amount of seating indoors. They have a fridge of bottled drinks to the left and cold case of fruit cups/yogurt parfaits/cream cheese tubs on the right. Friendly employees too. I think it was John that took my order. I was surprised there was Posh Bagel nearby and the place was able to take my phone order and prepare the bagels by the time for my event. For a slight fee, they toasted and sliced my bagels. There were a lot of flavors to choose from. I was also surprised to see how popping the place was. It was Sunday morning and it was full and there was a line. Space is pretty spacious and I think there's seating outside. I'm so glad I phoned in before I arrived. I am pleased with the service and how they were able to get my order in a timely matter.
