Love coming here! I always get there lox on a different bagel. I have yet to try all the other amazing items on the menu. Their Vietnamese coffee is a MUST all the time too!

Ordered a Lox & Cream Cheese Bagel sandwich with a Cheddar & Jalapeño Bagel. Came also with onions, garlic, and capers. Absolutely delicious! Generous with the lox and other fillings, speedy service too. Came in at lunchtime on a Wednesday. Has indoor seating with multiple tables for groups of 2-4, and the plaza itself has relatively good amount of parking.

Located in a industrial area. Limited parking with 2 tables for outdoor seating . Was busy when I went but have a lot of staff and everyone has their roles . It went smoothly and fast. Small establishment so tables get full quickly. Great selection of breakfast items and drinks. Freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious. Lots of pulp. Priced well .

Convenient and quick! I have ordered from this posh bagel on DoorDash before but just recently got to check it out in person. It's in a plaza right off the freeway so it's super convenient if you need a quick breakfast to/from wherever you're going. The parking lot is big but a lot of spaces are blocked for different shops so just keep an eye out for that. I usually go for the sausage bagel sandwich and it's always good. It is a little more expensive than I'd usually want to pay for a breakfast sandwich, coming in at almost $10 or more. They have a lot of options for drinks too: bobas, coffees, bottled/canned drinks. Even during busy hours, they can be pretty quick. On a weekend morning, I had to wait maybe 10 min. If you plan to stay awhile, they have a lot of tables inside and some outside.

Everything is baked daily, so it's fresh and wholesome. The people seem to be happy working here, so I had smiles to start my day. Plenty of seating and a warm atmosphere. I walked in on crutches because of a basketball injury, I think my day will turn around because of this. There is a Starbucks next door, but I liked coming here because I don't feel rushed but still receive my food and coffee quickly with smile.

I'd like to say I haven't found an egg, sausage, and cheese burrito as good as this one anywhere else . But then I'm not a morning person and haven't tried EVERY breakfast burrito place. Whether it's the breakfast burrito(minus the salsa) or the bagel breakfast sandwiches, this place doesn't disappoint. The coffee here is good too, the special French being my go to. They also have sweet baked goods for days when you're feeling greedy. It's really nice to have a neighborhood spot to relax in while you have your coffee and scroll through your phone. I've been here so many times in the past couple years, I don't know why I've never reviewed this place before. I guess you take the staples in your life for granted.

Other view of the sandwich and if you look closely enough you'll see some Lox there

Bagels were good, but overpriced compared to other shops in the area. There was an additional $3 charge to have bagels sliced.

I get sad all over again thinking about this bagel. The bacon was actually fine, though. The Southern Tradition wasn't that good either. They said they could do avocado add on for $0.80. Look at the disappointing avocado schmear in the picture. You have to search for it. I think it was actually guac too. We did think that it might have been guac since the menu doesnt have avocado, just guac. Which is why we specifically asked if they could do avocado-- and we saw another review mention that they got avocado. They said yes, but if it was going to be guac, I wish they corrected us. The apple pie muffin looked tempting but it wasn't worth it. It wasn't bad but I had one bite and didn't need another. I mean we did finish the bagels but it was a sad experience to. I literally cry inside thinking about that bagel. The muffin did not get finished. Should have just went to Posh :(

It's in a corner of a very cute gourmet food hall and had a good selection of goods left in mid-afternoon on a weekday. Service is also friendly and prompt. I had to get the kouign amann because I always get one wherever I can, and also picked up a plain croissant, currant scone, and panna cotta. The KA was decent; I would call this one a diet KA because they only put the sugar on one side so it was more like a brulee'd croissant. I also have to admit that, while this shaping is very attractive, the direction of the lamination makes eating this feel like shards in my mouth. However, flavor was excellent. The plain croissant is very plain. It's decent but I've had better. The scone and panna cotta, however, were delightful. Both had lovely soft textures and wonderful creamy flavors. The scone held up for two days and wasn't even a bit stale when I finally had it for breakfast. Highly recommend this tucked-away bakery in the Castro Valley!

Seven Hills Baking Co was my first stop as I haven't had sourdough since childhood. I got their classic sourdough loaf. Even though it wasn't warm anymore it was still amazing. It was quite hard to cut into with a serrated bread knife, which I'm not sure whether that's normal or abnormal for gluten sourdough. However, the inside was lovely and soft. Nice strong sour flavor, spongy dough that was almost moist (not at all dry). I want to note on the gluten free front that seven hills baking co offers a few items which they advertise to be gluten free. Though the ingredients may be gluten free, the items are baked in the same kitchen, the same oven, and then put side by side with the gluten in the display case. Furthermore I don't believe their ingredients are all certified gluten free. Therefore I do not recommend seven hills baking co for anybody with celiac disease. Do not buy your friend with a gluten allergy or celiac these items. There is most certainly cross contact.

Gluten challenge destination #5. I paid $16 for a bagel with cream cheese and a bagel "eggwich…read moreveggie" sandwich. This price is lowkey outrageous. The bagel with cream cheese was good but they were VERY stingy with the cream cheese. It was such a thin layer I could barely taste it. The bagel and the bagel sandwich were both room temperature/cold, not warmed even a little. The sandwich was packed full of red onion and red bell pepper with several tomato slices. The cheese was sparse. The sandwich was very flavorful. The jalapeño cheddar bagel is good because there is jalapeño all throughout, not just on top. That's good because the bagel they gave me 2 of the 3 jalapeños on top were missing; I could see where they had been but they weren't on my bagel. I'd go back but I wouldn't frequent. It's not bad, and I think if I had paid $2 instead of $6 for my bagel with cream cheese and $5 instead of $10 for the sandwich I would be much more enthusiastic. It's just with those prices, I expect it to be fantastic. One other note is they were out of sprouts and to indicate this they put a sticky note on the computer that just said "no sprouts". They were not informing anybody of the lack of sprouts when the orders were placed, but rather shouted across the shop at a woman who ordered a sandwich to tell her by the way, there are no sprouts. The sign should have said "we are out of sprouts" or the customer should have been informed upon ordering.
