The chicken fried steak (and my wife's French toast) lacked flavor, and the potatoes arrived over-charred to the point of half of it being inedible. That said, the team was clearly working through some staffing challenges (as noted by a sign on the door), so I don't think this visit represented their best work. Everything else was so high-quality that I'm more than willing to return for round two. Looking forward to a better culinary experience next time!

**Restaurant Review: Disappointing Decline in Quality** I recently visited Stardust Diner and, unfortunately, my experience was far from what I had hoped for. Over the past few months, I've noticed a troubling decline in the food quality, and my latest visit was the tipping point. Upon arrival, the ambiance felt as inviting as ever, but the excitement quickly waned when our meals arrived. To my dismay, the food was burnt. The once vibrant flavors and expertly cooked dishes seemed to have vanished, replaced by an overcooked char that overshadowed any potential enjoyment. It was disheartening to see a place I once loved serving food that lacked the care and attention it once had. I had hoped for a delightful meal, but instead, I left feeling unsatisfied and let down. It's a shame to witness such a decline in quality at a restaurant that had so much potential. I sincerely hope that Stardust Diner takes this feedback to heart and makes the necessary adjustments. Dining out should be a pleasure, and I long for the day when I can once again enjoy a meal here without concern for its quality. For now, I'll be exploring other options. read more

Let me clarify that the food gets 5-stars! Best diner food I've had in years, possibly ever. The biscuits & gravy were as delicious as any I've ever had; in fact, everything we ordered for breakfast was delicious and fresh. I would return for the food without hesitation. The service? Not so good. Though the staff is young, fresh-faced, and enthusiastic, they don't seem to be well coordinated. We had empty coffee cups, long after we asked for refills. The food came quickly and that was the last time we saw our actual waitress. After that, we were lucky to get help from other servers and staff walking by our table. This was our first time there, so maybe we hit the place on an off-day, but I can't stress again how delicious the food was. Hopefully, next time, the service will match it. read more

I paid 45.00 and had to go back 2 and said forget about it the 3rd but I called them.. first I ordered 2 sides of mac and cheese one fish and chips.. teriyaki burger with beer frys with a side salad and got chicken fried steak for my self got double mash.. first they forgot my whole teriyaki burger meal so had to go back for that.. won't see me there again.. This is a cute 1950's feel diner and seems to be the only one like it in the area. The food is really good here and staff is more than willing to stop and ask you if you need anything, even when they are not even your server. The free wi-fi is great here and they don't mind you sucking down coffee for a bit while you suck down the free wifi. They do pump in the "oldies" to go along with their theme but does get to be a bit too noisy with the music and a full crowd in there but no one seems to mind at all. Great place! read more

Had breakfast at the Stardust with the family today for the first time. Overall, very good food, attentive service and reasonably priced. The host wasn't the most friendly (not rude, just didn't smile much). I had the Country Breakfast which was tasty and plenty to fill the belly. The wife had an Omelet with potatoes. She said the potatoes were great. The kids had pancakes and bacon. They ate everything and loved the meal. Overall, we will return. Will have to try it out for lunch sometime as well. read more

This is the best diner/restaurant ever!! The most kindest and friendliest employees I've came across. Fast service and high quality food. As many times as I've came there is usually never a wait time and that's from the quick service they provide. I had trouble deciding and asked our server Aida, for some recommendations. I ended up ordering a vegetable omelet, with Home Style home fries and pancakes. This was an enormous meal, easy to share with one or two others. The omelet is made with 4 eggs and prepared thin-style (skinny omelet) and included sautéed mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, and spinach. Cheddar is the standard but they will substitute cheeses. The home style home fries were beautifully fried and had onions and bell peppers with cheese melted on top (+$3 up-charge). The two pancakes I upgraded toast from (+2) were really good. This meal will be at least 3 meals for me. My grandson really wanted a waffle and unfortunately they don't offer waffles on the kids menu. He loved his waffle and I've got to say it looked amazing! The kids menu is well-priced, including the beverages with kids milk offered for just $1.99. Coffee came in a lovely tall coffee mug and it was pretty good. AIDA did a great job of checking in with us on reasonable intervals and was very sweet. Very clean, comfortable and modern facility.
