    Shrimp and Grits
    Tawny M.

Back again, this time for dinner. We had the burger and I ordered the shrimp and grits. Service was a little on the slower side but just as friendly. The grits were very flavorful, I would suggest a higher quality shrimp be used. But with the value and flavor this place is a must visit

    Paul's blend coffee..."Cup of Ambition"

Paul's Restaurant has renewed my faith in the long forgotten diners of the past.....classic interior, excellent breakfast and lunch. I'm told they now have a dinner service...I will experience soon.....HOWEVER...Paul's coffee program is top notch!!!!! (and yes I mean every exclamation mark). In collaboration with Compass Coffee, Paul's has a special blend of their own. Roasty, full mouth silky, slightly nutty with a subtle deep background chocolate smell and taste. Not sure of the exact blend. Our host Tim can fill you in if needed. It is goooooood. You will not go wrong with a good cup of Paul's Blend...it will give any rival a run for their money.

Two egg breakfast with hot potato sausage, and biscuit

Eat here!!!! Please!!! I just had breakfast with my son. Omg!!!! my son had biscuits and gravy, and I had the two egg breakfast with house potatoes and sausage with a biscuit. The potatoes are well seasoned delicious crispy and amazing. The eggs were perfectly seasoned perfect doneness so very impressed. There was a double star of my breakfast and that was the sausage and the biscuit. The food was just so so delicious and good. You will not be disappointed please come. I need to come and try everything on this menu. It is so amazing. The staff was kind considerate. Their customer service was so wonderful and phenomenal. I was very impressed that our server started calling my kid by his name by the end of our breakfast just so phenomenal customer service we will be back. The vibe was perfection! I love that the menu has been completely revamped, but the old-school charm of Paul's is very much there. I love this place.

What a find! This restaurant makes all their food from scratch and is very fresh. The coleslaw was unbelievable, the macaroni and cheese was delicious, I had fish and chips, and the batter was nice and crispy, and the homemade rosemary dressing on the salad was yummy and the Service .... Lois was excellent and I even met Paul! I highly recommend this restaurant. Next time I'm going back to get the meatloaf... Or maybe that turkey burger with goat cheese... Yum.

Paul's is as historic as it gets. With its original decor and retro atmosphere, it's like stepping back in time. We oftentimes opt for eating at the bar so we can have that up close and personal experience with the staff. The food at Paul's runs the gamut from traditional breakfast selections, to fabulous lunch and early dinner offerings. We usually come in for breakfast and the eggs, pancakes, sausage, and hashbrowns are cooked just the way we like. We bring our parents here as well and they love the place since they have also been patrons for many years. Overall, it's an experience and we love eating at Paul's.

Our food was outstanding! We ordered a brie that had a fabulous fig sauce on top and then also we ordered a burger. That was absolutely incredible! We originally found the Sedgwick on a cold winter's night in 2023. We stopped in for what we planned was a quick appetizer and drink. We ended up staying for dinner at the bar. The bar is well lit and very classy. The staff is dressed appropriately. Drinks are very good but do take a minute to craft. They are on the pricy side. The food is absolutely wonderful. Truly. Excellent food, excellent chef. However, for the portion size, it's pricey. One can understand they are doing this intentionally to maintain a higher class of patrons but the tab was a bit jarring. We've been back a couple times, took friends once. They enjoyed it but they too, did mention the prices. Great place in the heart of downtown. We'll be back. Hopefully they'll adjust portions to match their pricing.

Pro tip: Do yourself a favor and specifically ask for Scott when you make your reservation. We ordered from the Prime Hour menu, which is an absolute bargain. You get to choose between soup or salad, two different entrees, and two different desserts. We both went with the seafood Tagliatelle, and wow. It was so rich, generously loaded with halibut, scallops, shrimp, and prosciutto in an incredible lemon pasta sauce. Note for future diners: They do automatically include a 20% service charge on the bill. However, Scott's service was so exceptional that we happily tipped extra on top of it. Save your pennies, do yourself a favor, and book a table ASAP. You won't regret it!

My steak was very good though the outside was a little crispier than I like it. I have eaten Argentinian steak before at another restaurant so i guess this is how it is cooked in Argentina. The mac and cheese was very good though the macaroni noodles seem way large. Service was impeccable and you do get what you pay. Noise level was moderate.

Plus when you have the app you can add more time without having to go back out to the kiosk. We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in.
