I came here for breakfast. A local establishment that doesn't look like much but has good food.

Don't remember the name before the previous owner which wasn't open long. Anyway, we were in town and decided to give it a try with these new owners. Loved the inside decoration. Very comfortable. We sat ourselves and the waitress came over and took our order. My wife had the French toast and I had two eggs, sausage links (you get 3), home fries, raisin cinnamon toast and corn beef hash (a dinner plate size) and coffee in a mug that holds at least 2 cups of coffee. No need for a refill. The food 10+, the service 10+, the bottom line? 10 +! We live in Saratoga Springs but I told the waitress that we will be back and real soon. They serve lunch and dinner. We're going to try their lunch and dinner. So glad that we tried again. Almost forgot...not only can you park right on the street but they also have their own parking lot in the rear. Just drive into their driveway. I am sure that it will start getting more customers after this review. It never fails...

The ambiance is pleasant and comfortable and there's a decent amount of seating, both at tables and the counter. Once it warms up a bit, there are also tables outside on the front deck. I'd have liked more options on the breakfast menu, but we were pleased with what they did have available. We'll definitely be back for both breakfast and give lunch a try. I could see us becoming frequent patrons of this homey cafe.

This local…read morecountry restaurant serves up homecooked meals for breakfast and lunch and not to be confused with the Latham 76 Diner, located about an hour away in Latham, NY. I picked up a copy of their menu from almost a couple years ago and the prices were very good and cheap. The updated menu prices here are still pretty reasonable, but have risen (most items by about a $1 more) and coffee is no longer included with breakfast specials like before. The most expensive menu items are $6.95 plus tax, pricing very competitive to another nearby "diner." Breakfast menu offerings include egg dishes, omelets, breakfast sandwiches, pancake, French toast, fried bread dough, cereal, homefries, bagels, muffins, and other breakfast sides. Lunch menu offerings and daily specials include soups, salads, chili, burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, fish frys, clam rolls, fried sides, comfort dishes (ie. goulash, meatloaf, chicken & biscuits, fajitas...) and desserts (pies, rice pudding, ice cream). I stopped in here for weekend breakfast recently. The place has a very casual and laid back atmosphere and it's seat yourself at an open table or at the counter. The place was pretty quiet when I arrived here around noontime with a group of seniors having breakfast a few tables over. The waitress promptly arrived and offered me coffee. The coffee ($1.25) had a weird taste, but otherwise just right. For breakfast, the Sausage Gravy over Biscuits ($4.95) was served very hot. This breakfast dish was very filling and slightly salty/sweet tasting. The hot gravy was very milky with plenty of big chunks of soft ground sausage over two soft biscuits with a dry texture inside. The food was okay. The service was pleasant and prompt and I was also offered another cup of coffee as I finished up.

We walked past Farmacy's window and one of the chefs gave a friendly wave. We stopped in (had eaten there before) and prepared ourselves for a sure to be delicious meal. They have a fun frequently changing menu of small, medium and large plates so you can choose your own foodie adventure. If you want to sit at the bar you get a great view of the chefs at work preparing your meal. If you want a cozier experience, sit in the comfortable seating in the rear of the restaurant. Our server was very attentive but chill and knowledgeable. We got the Utica greens to share as an appetizer, a cocktail and Mad Max local beer, then a burger with hand cut fries and a chicken stuffed poblano. Dessert was a passion fruit chocolate tart which we took to go. If you're looking for well crafted food with a creative twist, this place is a great choice. North country friendly and approachable with a sophisticated set of offerings. Some really unique cocktails too. Not a boring thing on the menu.

Taylor was one of the best servers we've had in a long time. Everything is made fresh daily, and if you sit at the Chef's Counter, you'll see it first hand. You'll also get great descriptions of everything from the awesome Chefs and maybe get to try something extra too. I recommend using the reservation system on their website and specify your seating preferences. You can choose from the Chef's Counter, the bar, a high-top table, a low table, or an outdoor table (weather permitting). We also appreciated them asking about food allergies on the reservation system too and they verified it when we arrived. We were so impressed with the unique menu options that are offered in the appetizers, small shareable plates, main courses, desserts, and drinks. We are already planning on coming back Sunday for brunch and know we'll be back again soon for dinner.

The original Sullivan's Diner was at this same location many years ago with a storied history on their website. This space has been home to other eateries over the years including the Country Corner Café, Phat Chicks Corner Café and The Corner Diner. Sullivan's Diner serves up traditional American fare and comfort foods. The breakfast offerings include eggs, pancakes, French toast, breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches, homemade corned beef hash, and breakfast sides. Lunch/Dinner selections include burgers, deli sandwiches, hot sandwiches, club sandwiches, wraps, hot dogs, fish fry, clam fry, soups, and salads. The prices seem reasonable. There is table seating near the front window, booths along the wall and counter seating to the left. The cashier stand is near the front door. Bill was also here chatting with customers. I stopped by Sullivan's Diner recently for lunch. The place slightly busy early afternoon and I could sit anywhere I wanted. I was quickly told they ran out of corned beef hash after sitting down and given a menu. I ordered the Fish Fry Basket ($12.95 plus tax) with an ice water. There was a large party ahead of me still waiting for their food. My order was served to me in about 20 minutes. The fish basket was a good portion of hand breaded and deep fried crisp piece of cod, hand cut golden fries (lightly salted), tartar sauce and a small cup of slaw. The food was a bit greasy, and very hot and tasty. I was given the check afterwards, which was $13.86 with tax and before tip. I will definitely have to take another ride over here for breakfast!

I ordered a breakfast sammy, Mimi's reuben, a side of potato salad, and a large love-a-cado salad with balsamic dressing. To be honest I have never been tempted to try their sweets as it appears ordinary and not very moist looking. Boy was I so so wrong. The cookies, the cinnamon bun etc were all so so yummy. I will always get their sweets whenever I stop in. All their personal faves on recommendation were spot on! You really can't go wrong with whatever you get here!
