I deliberately waited until the transaction was completed before leaving a review because this was an unusual GM replacement/buyback situation and I wanted to be fair. Unfortunately, the experience became increasingly stressful and disappointing. Roughly three weeks after I took delivery of my replacement Hummer EV, the dealership advised that there had been an error in the finance paperwork. I was eventually told by the dealership that credits had been double counted, which caused the amount financed on the original contract to be significantly understated. Over the following week I received numerous messages stating that the vehicle was unpaid, that the contract had been cancelled, and that the vehicle could be collected if the matter was not resolved. This was particularly stressful because the truck is essential to my business and I had already taken delivery, registered it and started using it for work. I ultimately returned to the dealership and signed corrected financing. The amount financed increased, the interest rate was higher, and I began a new 72-month payment schedule. GM became directly involved and reviewed the corrected figures with me while I was at the dealership. Unfortunately, that was not the end of the problems. GM subsequently confirmed to me in writing that the dealership had failed to return the repurchase paperwork after I surrendered my Sierra. GM advised that its disposition team had been contacting the dealership daily, and sometimes twice a day, from July 15 but did not hear back from them until August 4. Because the paperwork had not been returned, GM could not issue the payoff to Chase. I then received a demand from Chase showing my old Sierra loan as delinquent and was told that the delinquency would be reported to the credit bureaus if the payoff was not received. I had surrendered that vehicle weeks earlier and had absolutely no reason to believe the old loan had not been dealt with. GM eventually sent the payoff, but this created yet another completely avoidable period of stress and concern over my credit. There was also a separate issue with the portable EV charger. It was missing when I originally collected the Hummer -- the charger bag and other accessories were there, but no actual charger. This left me relying on more expensive public charging. I raised this before returning to sign the corrected paperwork and was told in writing that the dealership would provide a charger. It was overlooked during the finance correction, and afterwards I repeatedly asked for it to be shipped to me. I received no response. Management was also contacted. Eventually I was told they had a charger for me but would not ship it, so I made yet another trip to Stuart today specifically to collect it. What I was handed was a loose charging unit -- no bag, no packaging and no additional plug/adapter components. I texted Mike at the dealership asking where the other plug was because this was not how I understood the complete charging kit to be supplied. His response was: "All you have done is complain when I've done nothing but bent over backwards for you. I'm done. Have a great day." After everything that has happened, I found that response extraordinary. I appreciate that mistakes happen. What I cannot accept is the amount of time, stress, repeated trips, threats and chasing required to correct problems that I did not create, followed by being spoken to like this when I questioned whether an item that had been missing since delivery had finally been supplied completely. Throughout this process I cooperated with the dealership, returned when asked, signed the corrected financing once the issue was properly explained, and gave them repeated opportunities to resolve the remaining matters. At this point I have no desire to return to or deal with this dealership again. read more

They have some good employees like Kyle and Orlando in past. They really act appropriately and offer honesty and transparency. The challenge is leadership and vehicles. Here is a Certified Unit in which a supposed 172 point inspection was completed before adding the Buick Certification, however near dealer nor any ad copy offered the damage. This is more than dent, this is a pierced hood. Proper repair will record on Carfax and also likely preclude the program if completed when owner turned in leased vehicle and paid fee for damage. Highly suggest 3rd party appraisal if out of area, and we would have been repeat buyers. read more

My experience at Starling Buick GMC Stuart was extremely disappointing and concerning. After visiting three times (02/14, 02/18, and 02/20 of 2026), it became clear to me that there are unprofessional practices being carried out in a way that many customers may not immediately recognize. In my experience, there was a consistent lack of transparency in pricing and financing discussions. During the financing process, Finance Manager Anier Rivero strongly pushed dealership-arranged financing at a higher interest rate, even though I had secured my own lower-rate pre-approval. I was not provided with a clear, detailed side-by-side comparison of total costs. When I attempted to clarify discrepancies in the numbers, General Manager J.C. Prats responded in a dismissive and unprofessional manner, ultimately refusing to continue the transaction and instructing me to leave the dealership. In my opinion, the way pricing and financing were presented lacked honesty and full transparency. The numbers were not clearly broken down, and key details required careful questioning to uncover. Future customers should be extremely cautious when purchasing here. Carefully review every number, every fee, and every financing term before signing anything. Do not rely on verbal explanations alone -- ask for everything in writing and examine it closely. Transparency and professionalism are essential in a car purchase. Mixed review here. The good: Mechanical issue appears to have been properly repaired. The bad: Expensive; $200+ just to look; 3% surcharge to pay with a credit card (but that's not disclosed until it's time to pay); dealership quoted $250 for new battery (50% more than AutoZone); and you can only do business with the assigned Service Associate which leads to built-in communication delays while he/she works with other customers. read more

Selling cars at any dealer is irrelevant because they are new and have warranties and so on. What is truly important is the service department and in my personal experience for a diesel engine it has been a disaster. I had to pay money unnecessarily for something like checking if the windows went down or not. In addition, they could not change the fuel filter among other things. My recommendation is that you do not visit this dealer. It is an abuse and not all people are ignorant in the subject of mechanics, it is just that we lack space and tools. That is why we place our trust in so-called professionals. read more

My 2018 GMC Terrain was indicating an error alert so I took it in. The battery was the diagnosed issue and replaced. Additionally one tier pressure indicator was failed and replaced. When I picked up the Terrain during the inspection I found tools left in the engine compartment and the fluids were not filled with and oil change. Windshield fluid was empty. Driving out of the dealer the tire pressure we're all different and had not been checked. Two days later driving on 95 now the rear tire is out of balance.
