I will not go back. Not even for free. I ordered a calzone (Norwood, MA). Normally pizza places do not put sauce on calzones. This place did and we explained that my daughter has a tomato allergy and that she could not eat it. The person handed us the calzone and told us that there is NOTHING that he could do. We asked him if he could make another one and he said "NO". Below is from their web site. Please note that it is stated that the sauce is on the side for dipping (calzone section). These items are carefully made and take time so please allow 15 minutes for entree preparation. Worst of the worst. Online ordering screwed up my 2 chicken strips order. We do a lot of business with them as I work at Norwood hospital and we do large group orders they refused to exchange or bring us BBQ sauce. This place is one is one of only two set as favorites on my phone. The sandwich baskets are unlike what you get anywhere else. Normally when you get sweet potato fries, you pay extra and get a smaller portion. Not here! They also put wax paper over the cole slaw, keeping it unsullied and the sandwich is wrapped in foil keeping it separate from the fries. Served in that standard styrofoam three compartment container, these things are so packed they cannot close. Never once disappointed! I will never order from this place again. A group of coworkers and myself decided to order takeout from here for lunch. One of the orders was forgotten, no big deal, it was on the receipt and paid for. I figured a quick phone call to let them know would fix it or maybe it was left on the counter or given to another party by mistake. The person on the phone was not only extremely RUDE, but he denied it and refused to even acknowledge the possible mistake. I was not upset about it and was even willing to use my lunch break to drive back there so that my coworker wouldn't be the only one without his food. For a stupid $10 item, Stash's should have just apologized and honored this honest mistake to keep its customers happy. What ever happened to "giving the pickle" ???? We called to ask to have it brought, and not only did they refuse to bring it but accused us of lying. They said they sent the salad, it was in the bag. Really? The pizza here has definitely changed over the years and tends to be different depending on which employee is working at the time. It is not very consistent, as some meals have been great and others have not. I have always loved the chicken, bacon, and ranch pizza and it is always delicious. I've been driving by Stash's for years and finally stopped in for the first time. The pizza was really good and I can't think of any other place in the general area that offers up this style of New York, thin-crust pizza quite as good. The slices are GIGANTIC. I'm sure they are by far the biggest I've ever had outside of New York. A single slice is good enough for lunch for me on most days. Slightly greasy as I had it with Pepperoni and it was loaded with meat. I don't mind a few drops of grease though with this type of pizza. Reasonable prices and the counter staff was friendly. Disgusted by this "business". I hate when everyone wants to order from here, because for the last FOUR times they have messed up an order. The first was no fries with a hamburger, the second was the wrong pizza delivered, the third was someone was missing a salad and the fourth was a request to leave off an item due to an allergy and it was on, rendering the person unable to eat their meal! But for some reason people keep insisting on ordering food from here. Until today, they messed up two of the items sent today! Finally the others are done. I used to stop in here after work all the time about 3 or 4 years ago and always thought it was some of the greatest pizza around. There are too many options to be charging 40-60% more than everywhere else. I have always loved Stash's food and to this day I still do. The 2-stars goes for the food, definitely not the service. I placed an order for delivery and found the gentleman on the phone to be very unhappy with his job. His emotions sounded like he didn't want to be working on a Saturday night (it's part of life to be working no matter what day of the week it is). If you want customers to support your business a little more phone etiquette and happiness goes a long way. I am not going to listen to miserable people on the phone when I am placing my order. They don't always have them though, but usually have them at lunchtime. Cheese and pepperoni slices aren't anything special. No tables for eating in. I'm a big Stash's fan. Sure, it's take out and hard to go wrong but I've had some bad take out. Never from here! The meatball subs are delicious, the calzones are huge, and the subs are filled to the brim of the bread. The curly fries and onion rings also get a thumbs up! I got a buffalo chicken salad last night and the chicken was really good! They put it in foil on top of the salad so the lettuce didn't get soggy - that goes a long way with me. We really enjoy the food but on a previous order we could not get the person to understand what we were trying to order and ended up with a bunch of different items other then what we had ordered. Today I attempted to place an order for work (a large order that would have brought a nice tip). I called and was placed on hold for 10 minutes. I called back and was placed on hold for 5 minutes then was hung up on. If I could give no stars that would be more appropriate. I placed my order at 11:20 A.M. and was told that the food would be here within 40 minutes. One hour and 40 minutes later I am still waiting on the food. I have called 3 times only to be told the same story - the food is on the way and should be right there. I asked for a manager and / or supervisor and was told there was not one in that position. I finally spoke with someone who was not in charge and couldn't really help.
