    All-Natural Braised Short Ribs

Came here on a Thursday night and was able to easily make reservations same day. First off, the service here is exceptional! Grace, Giovanni, and Tony took care of us and did a stellar job. Nice quaint ambiance inside allowing for more intimate conversations at your table. Plenty of diversity on the menu which is refreshing and allows you to order things you typically might not get elsewhere. I ordered the duck breast and my colleague got the short ribs. Both were delicious! I wish the duck breast dish was more generous with the potatoes and veggies as the portions were small, but everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Great experience overall and would definitely recommend you check this place out if you're in the area. They mentioned some nice happy hour deals, so I might have to give that a try next time I'm here!

3.5 The restaurant is located at one end of El Paseo in a strip mall. It was pretty busy at 6pm on a Sunday and it seemed like there were a lot of regulars. The first turnoff for us was the humble brag of the owners sharing their story. I'd just leave that off the menu. We like a story that has some vulnerability to it. The menu is interesting and enticing. Plant-forward, but plenty of options for seafood and meat eaters. There are 4 enticing vegan options. There was a prix fix menu offered (I think only certain hours)--$50 for a starter, an entree and a dessert, with good options! This is the way to go. We ordered the grilled artichoke-5, the ahi tuna tartare-5, the crispy cauliflower-4 and the scallops (non-vegan)-1 (it was flavorless). Service was good, with Giovanni being the standout. We just thought this restaurant should have been better, given its interesting menu.

I wish we would've taken pictures of more but everything was so good that we dug in too quickly! We started with the tuna tartare. It was fantastic, and the plantain chips were a welcome surprise! I had the braised short rib entrée, which was fantastic. My husband had the scallops. The combination of the chard grapes, purple cauliflower, and sauce was an explosion of flavor. But the best part was absolutely saved for last. The butter cake with vanilla and whiskey syrup was out of this world. This place is a must see in Palm Springs! Also, have to give a shout out to our server, Grace, who took amazing care of us and was an absolute delight.

My wife and I decided to try this restaurant for dinner and were instantly impressed by the beautiful, stylish decor and artfully lit interior as soon as we stepped inside. The host was very friendly as was our waiter. For a starter, we shared a dish of ricotta-stuffed squash blossoms, which is as good as it sounds. An exquisitely designed and created dish, it has tempura-fried squash blossoms, stuffed with whipped ricotta, and drizzled with honey and finished with microgreens. Yum! For the main course, we both ordered the Santa Barbara Uni Linguini. It just sounded too good --- and it was really great. Freshly made linguini with butter, Grana Padano, and fresh Santa Barbara uni. Really delicious! The food was so good we couldn't resist having dessert, so we ordered the warm pineapple upside-down cake, which included a scoop of vanilla ice cream, toasted coconut, and a drizzle of caramel. It was indulgent and hit all the right notes. All the dishes were wonderfully prepared, luscious in taste. Wildest is definitely a great restaurant!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Wildest Kitchen! From the moment we sat down, our server Paige made the night special. She was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. Paige is an incredible asset to this restaurant and deserves major kudos -- thank you for taking such great care of us! As plant-based eaters, we were blown away by how thoughtful and creative the menu is. It's so refreshing to dine somewhere that doesn't just toss a Beyond Burger and salad at vegans. The dishes here are crafted with real care and flavor -- you can tell there's love behind them. Everything we had was delicious, beautifully presented, and satisfying in every way. To anyone who's vegan or plant-based: this is your spot. It's hands down one of the best vegan-friendly meals you'll ever have. We can't recommend it enough! We're visiting from Las Vegas, but every time we're in town, we'll be back to support this amazing restaurant. And honestly... if you ever decide to open a Wildest Kitchen in Vegas, we'll be first in line. Thank you again, Paige and the entire Wildest team, for an unforgettable evening!

Wildest is perhaps the best high-end vegan restaurant in Palm Springs / Palm Desert. Even though it's not fully vegan they have a comprehensive, chef-made vegan offering with healthy plant based options (no store-bought fake meats). The atmosphere is always amazing and service is top notch and I love that they still have (at least as of summer 2025) their large patio that they opened during the pandemic. We always dine here every year when going to Palm Springs and we'll keep coming back.

We came here for our anniversary, made the reservation several days in advance and made a note that the vegan diner would prefer something without mushrooms (they don't sit well with me). For one thing, I can't believe that ALL their vegan options are only mushroom based. Feels lazy. They did try to accommodate me after we arrived and quizzed the server about options. I ended up with a small amount of mashed potato and a few veggies, with some gravy. $32. Wow. Hubs is omni and he had the filet. Said it was OK but not great. Before the entrees arrived, the server brought us out some bread for free as they knew we were disappointed in the plant options. Usually they charge $10, and what we got was burned. Yay. Very frustrating as there are so few nicer restaurants that fit for an omni & vegan. But we saved the night by doing down the block to get a vegan hot fudge sundae from Chef Tanya's that we shared.

We came in Wednesday night at 5:45. we were greeted right away . The restaurant is very pretty inside. It was fairly busy when we arrived. Cocktails, 2 of us had the margarita I believe Hibiscus, and I had a delirium tremens beer. The cocktails honestly were not that good, I tried them both and I did not taste any alcohol and there was so much salt on the rim most of it fell into the drink so it was very salt forward and defiantly no hint of any hibiscus. Appetizer we had the Ricotta Stuffed Squash blossoms which were very good. also the Bread service, which was also good. 2 of us had wedge salad nice and crisp lettuce and entrees Filet , Short rib, both Excellent and Chicken fried oyster mushroom was good just a little too much sauce underneath and a tad on the sweet side. Our server was very prompt as was water refill . One thing I would suggest is for the server assistant to wait till all people have finished before clearing plates from the table. It was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely come back !

What a lovely experience! Farouk, the manager, was very friendly and helpful, as were all of the servers. The decor is very upscale and chic. The lovely presentation of all the dishes adds to the enjoyment of the food, which has distinctive flavors and textures and fine touches that elevate each dish! A lovely gem in the desert!

    A complementary dessert!

Had a birthday dinner here. Every dish we had was exceptional. The cooks certainly know what they're doing. It's Michelin worthy. I love that they have vegan options and gluten free accommodations. The servers were knowledgeable and competent. The ambiance was perfect outside for a warm night. Highly recommend.

    Ahi Tuna Tartare
    Dining With The Davids F.

We recently brought our Dining with The Davids Taste Buds group to Wildest in Palm Desert for a 12-course tasting experience, and it was unforgettable. Chef Trilby delivered a truly inspired meal, but a few dishes stood out as clear favorites among our group: Top Appetizer & Overall Favorite: Haiole Nai Shrimp--crispy, sweet, spicy, and paired with a wasabi aioli and pickled ginger. It was love at first bite. Ahi Tuna Tartare came in second, with bright flavors and a refreshing finish. Best Entrée: The English Pea Ravioli with black truffle sauce--earthy, elegant, and beautifully balanced. Close Runner-Up: Wild Scallops with parsnip purée and pomegranate molasses. Rich, sweet, and perfectly seared. Top Dessert: Butter Cake, which narrowly beat out the Warm Pineapple Upside Down Cake--both were decadent and delightful. Although we couldn't fit it into our video, it's worth mentioning that Wildest has one of the coolest private dining rooms we've ever seen--it's inside the wine cellar! The room is glass-walled, air-conditioned, and ideal for special occasions, small groups, or business dinners. The ambiance throughout Wildest is off the charts. Every detail of the space is so well thought out--from the lighting to the layout--thanks to the owner's background in construction. You can tell this place was designed with intention and passion. There's also live music, which unfortunately didn't make it into our video either, but it adds yet another layer to what is already a magical dining experience. Big thanks to our waiter, Bryan. He was perfectly attentive and a total gentleman. Whether you're planning a date night, group dinner, or just looking for a standout meal in the Coachella Valley, Wildest should absolutely be on your list.

I had the excellent scallops and hubby had the vegan scallops. We also had the best desert. We ate it too fast to take pics.

Hi!! This is Charissa!!! Call me!! 760-219-1089

    Is there a corkage fee?

Our corkage fee was $30 for a bottle of champagne.

Are there any menu selections that would be friendly for a keto diet? Thank you!

They are very accommodating, so you can easily order something without sauce and such to make it completely keto friendly and they have all sorts of great meat protein and organic vegetables.

The menu is extensive with plenty of excellent selections, though the pricing is definitely premium. For instance, a Cobb salad topped with fish can easily exceed $45; while the quality is high, that's a significant jump over nearby staples like Daily Grill. Service was friendly but lacked consistency; our server disappeared mid-meal without a hand-off, requiring us to flag down other staff. Overall, it's a bright, airy, and stylish spot well worth a visit, provided you're prepared for the 'luxury' price point.

I especially loved seeing my sister-in-law out on the dance floor and having so much fun. It was one of those nights where people of all ages were dancing, laughing, and just enjoying being together. We had such a great time that they went back again the very next night. The live music was fantastic, and it was great seeing Nick on saxophone.
