Comp bread, delicious

Service was great. Only thing I will say is that I booked pretty far in advance and asked for a windows seat and was not accommodated, sadly... and we were staying at the hotel. The views are amazing I will say so that's why we wanted a closer seat to the windows. Once seated we were given bourbon samples and we ended up ordering Manhattans. Drinks are good. We ordered the 16oz ribeye and scallops for main dishes. They accommodated out requests and were mindful of our allergies. We ordered a great starters as well, notable were the tiger prawns. They've meaty and tasty. A little tough though. The ribeye was very tasty although bot the best I've had, my favorite ribeye hands down is form Mastros. Not even close. The carrots and potato puree for sides were my favorite. Overall service was great, but don't think I'll ve back to the steakhouse. We can get way better for the price point and experience. Thank you to the chef, servers, bartender, and host.

Amazing views, service was amazing, food and drinks were very delicious!! I enjoyed having my birthday dinner here!

Had a fabulous dining experience at The Edge! Service was top notch and ambience was lively without being too loud. Lovely caviar service, huge oysters and perfectly prepared scallops...every bite was delicious! Photos on the veranda at golden hour were a bonus! Highly recommend and will visit again when I am in Palm Springs!

The food was absolutely amazing! The service was top tier! And the ambiance of the restaurant was great. I will definitely come back again.

Came here recently for a Friday night meal. Pros: Service was impeccable and fast, all the staff was extremely attentive. Drinks were very good. The view is well known and was definitely a highlight. The bread roll they bring out is stellar and was a true highlight of the meal. Con: The pricing here is extremely high for what ended up as average steaks. $95 for a 6 ounce filet and $165 for a ribeye is high and I expected to be wowed...I was not wowed. Far from it. The steaks are advertised as Prime and maybe I just had a sub par cut but I would have felt over charged paying $65 for this steak, much less $100 more. Everyone in our group agreed the food was "ok" but after spending close to $1000 for dinner for 4, it's hard to just feel "ok" about the meal. Without some kind of significant revamp to the menu or pricing I would 100% not come back when there are so many other options.

Very busy Thursday evening and was still given great service. Ron at the bar was a rockstar knocking out drinks while keeping the energy high. Daniel was great with explaining the menu and giving recommendations. Yes, it's pricey and can get chaotic but overall I had a great experience from start to finish. I definitely like to come back and visit with the reservation and window seats.

Celebrating my husband's birthday on the West Coast!! Magical evening at the Ritz Carlton Rancho Mirage! Dinner was extraordinary! At The Edge Steakhouse! 5 star experience! Exemplary service by Cecelia And her assistant Hope. The food was a culinary master piece of flavors! Loved my blueberry cocktail! Highest compliments to the Chef and Kitchen Brigade! Complimentary cognac was served in honor of Marcelino's birthday! And strawberry shortcake with birthday candle! Cheers! The views were breathtakingly beautiful! We ended the evening experiencing the Milky Way and saw Saturn with its rings! There was a staff member with an impressive telescope showing guests the magnificent beauty of the Milky Way! Valet parking. Definitely recommend! Make reservations and plan accordingly. The Edge is closed Monday- Wednesday!! Cheers to more adventures and celebrations!

Service, food and ambiance were decent. I enjoyed my food but in my opinion this was not a 5 star experience (it was only a 3-4 star experience) as my boyfriend was not impressed with his steak. However the location is great and has a beautiful view of the mountains and sunset.

Service was good but they seem to run on "island" time so just make sure you aren't in a hurry The drinks are what I would consider above average or "meets expectations" for a restaurant in this price range. We got the Manhattan, Smokey Bee, and Wren. The prices are high and that's to be expected considering the location. I don't mark points off for that as long as the food and service are commensurate to the cost. The problem here is that the food was below expectations. The medium rare steak came out medium. We sent it back and it came back closer to rare than medium rare. Keep in mind either steak would have been acceptable if it were not for the fact that it was over 100 bucks for a NON dry aged USDA prime steak. The scallops were fishier than expected and that to me says it's not as fresh as I should be The salmon was not bad The pork chop was suppose to be medium but came out well done which i prefer anyways so I guess that worked out. It was not bad but nothing to write home about Overall, it's a nice restaurant and service was good. The food was not up to par considering the prices but wasn't terrible.

The hours of operation vs. the kitchen do not align. Avoid at all cost if you're looking for a delicious dinner with typical hotel prices.

Huge dining room, good sized bar, and large, partially covered outdoor patio. There was a very intimate dining room with the wine cellar on the back wall. The manager said that anyone can request to sit there at any time...not just for private parties. Plenty of complimentary parking. The hostess seated us immediately and Jessica P. waited on us. Service was excellent. We started with a round of cocktails: a Paradiso ($14), a Bellini Tini ($14), and a Pink Lemonade ($4) with free refills. After ordering appetizers, we had a second round of cocktails: an Old Fashioned ($14) and a Strawberry Lemon Drop ($14). All drinks were well made and very reasonably priced. TIP: $15 corkage fee for a standard bottle. Again, very reasonable. FOOD: We started with an order of Ostriche (oysters on the half shell: $17) and the Arancini ($15). The oysters were fresh, delicious, and at that price, hard to beat. For entrees, I had the Pappardelle Bolognese ($24) and my wife and mother-in-law shared the Fettuccini Mediterraneo ($27). We finished it all off with a scoop of Belgian Chocolate and Sicilian Pistachio Gelato ($8). The dishes were well prepared, and everything had good flavors. Will most definitely be coming back to Enzo's to try more of their menu, including what looked like some excellent aged meats. I highly recommend.

However, he never removed the third and fourth place setting at our table of two, and when he dropped off our plates, he said if you don't have a fork, use one of those. . He didn't charge us for the meal that was delivered in error because my husband ate it as he did not suggest bringing the right thing. He never came around to fill up our water glasses and he was basically awol. When our dinner is over, we had to wait at least 20 to 25 minutes for him to show up again and we could request our check. Clam linguine basically it was flavorless. We wouldn't go there again because of the service. It seemed that the waiter/bartender. Was only waiting on our table. The rest of the waitresses they were hustling around, not quite sure why we had a bartender as our waiter. He doesn't know anything about sorry buddy

Our group started out with the above mentioned Pulpo Chicharrones. Crispy Octopus bites served with fresh pico de gallo, guacamole, and flour tortilla chips. The octopus had a charred crispy exterior that gave way to a buttery-tender interior. None of the rubbery texture that so often turns people off. For entrees, we selected the Whole Fried Huachinango (Red Snapper), 7 Oceanas (think "Spanish Chioppino"), and Pan Seared Halibut which was the special of the day. The halibut special featured a very generous pan seared filet on a bed of white wine risotto with a sesame seed veloute and asparagus. The 7 Oceanas consisted of perfectly cooked octopus, white fish, clams, mussels, shrimp, salmon, and scallop in a rich broth with tomato, onion, garlic, smoked paprika, oregano, and guajillo peppers. Served with housemade telera bread sticks to sop up the amazing broth. The snapper was deep fried to perfection leaving the skin super crispy and fleah moist and flaky. Drizzled with an adobo sauce and served with grilled sliced lemons, chayote squash and baby potatoes. Our only complaint was the snapper was not true red snapper as advertised, but rather porgy (we think). Red snapper is one of the most substituted fish and very few people in the world could tell them apart. My partner Ernie is a connoisseur, and he can. The dish was still excellent, we just wish it wasn't advertised as Huachinango. This hidden gem delivered fresh seafood, tasty cocktails with a nod to tequila and mezcal drinks crafted by owner Marco Castellanos, and friendly attentive service from Gina.

Complimentary fresh bread is warm, delicious, and crusty accompanied by French butter that doesn't taste like regular plain ol' butter. Might be the best tasting butter I've ever had and served at the right temperature and consistency. I loathe butter that's so cold I can't even spread it and need to incubate it in my hands for a few min. Beef stroganoff with extra sauce, since I love me my sauces, was a 9.37/10. If you ever liked the beef stroganoff microwave meals when you were a kid, even remotely, you'll love this dish. Talk about hitting the spot. I proceeded to eat more bread dipping it in this sauce. The pasta was fresh, nice and chewy. Mussels with fries were good. 8.22/10. Nice big portion with plenty of broth. Pro tip if anyone is trying to get a little tipsy: All the wine was not cooked off. Also more bread dipped in this sauce. Also spooned it up like a soup. Seafood pasta, ordered twice since one wasn't enough! Solid 8.89/10! Altered this with a tomato based sauce rather than the creamy clam sauce as the 3 taste testers don't like creamy sauce. Fresh chewy pasta once again. One again, used the bread as a vehicle for the sauce to my mouth. Yes, all the food was good but the bread...the bread...and the butter... Si Bon...c'est si bon...

We tried the spring special and were blown away from start to finish. Every cut of meat was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and constantly coming around fresh. The picanha especially was incredible. Honestly, this was better than any other Brazilian steakhouse we've been to. Our server Armando provided amazing service the entire night. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. The whole staff created a welcoming experience. The atmosphere was excellent clean, well maintained, and beautifully decorated. The sides, salads, hot dishes, and meats available there were fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The meats we did receive tableside were also tasty. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not live up to expectations. Despite the restaurant not being busy, service was slow and inattentive. Dirty plates sat on our table for extended periods before being cleared, and we often felt overlooked. There were also flies inside the restaurant, and at one point my son had to kill one near our table. One of the biggest disappointments was the meat service itself. The restaurant advertises a wide variety of meats, but during our meal I don't believe we were offered even 10 different cuts. Some selections were described as things like "baby cow" rather than identifying the actual cut of meat, which was odd and made it difficult to know what was being served. Since we were celebrating my birthday, I was also disappointed that the staff completely forgot about it until I reminded them. The final frustration came when the bill arrived. We were charged for the higher churrasco option than what we had actually ordered. The mistake was corrected after I pointed it out, but customers should not have to catch billing errors themselves. What makes all of this more frustrating is that gratuity was automatically added to the bill. When a restaurant includes automatic gratuity, I expect attentive service, accurate billing, and attention to detail. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. The food was generally good, especially the market table, but the combination of limited meat service, slow attention from staff, flies in the dining room, a forgotten birthday, and an incorrect bill left us disappointed. I wanted this to be a special birthday dinner, and it simply fell short.

The team at Cowboy Cantina reached out and invited us back, which we truly were shocked & greatly appreciated it. We decided to give it another shot, and I'm really glad we did because this time around was a completely different experience. From the moment we walked in, the service and atmosphere felt totally turned around. We were greeted warmly, checked on regularly, and actually felt like valued guests. This is the kind of effort that shows a restaurant really cares about improving and making things right! Our server, Isreal, was absolutely amazing. He was attentive without hovering, he was friendly, funny, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. Drinks were refilled quickly, everything came out in great timing, and he made sure we had everything we needed the whole night. It honestly felt like the level of service you hope for when you go out to eat. The food itself was great and came out fresh and flavorful. You could tell there was real attention being paid this time, and it made a big difference in how enjoyable the meal was. One of the highlights of the night was the tableside dessert prepared by Jared. Not only was it delicious, but it was also entertaining to watch him put it together right there at the table. It added a fun, memorable touch to the meal and was the perfect way to end the night. This experience showed exactly how restaurants should handle things with their customers. Instead of ignoring feedback, they took it seriously, made the effort to improve, and invited us back to make it right. That kind of accountability and dedication to customer satisfaction goes a long way! We left genuinely impressed and happy we gave it another chance. If this visit is any indication of the direction they're heading, Cowboy Cantina is absolutely on the right track.

We came to Cowboy Cantina tonight to celebrate my birthday... my mom treating me to a nicer dinner…read morethan what she'd normally afford for dinner, which made the experience feel extra disappointing knowing this was a more costly meal in her eyes. We ordered directly from the printed menu. I chose the brisket, which clearly states it comes with two sides, planning on baked beans and a baked potato. My mom ordered the baby back ribs with mac & cheese. When we placed the order, our server apologized and told us they had changed the menu, but not what's actually printed. Apparently, you no longer get to choose sides... everything now automatically comes with mashed potatoes and "mixed veggies," with no option to swap or upgrade. That was confusing, especially since the sides we wanted were available and could be ordered separately for an extra charge. Even if you add on a baked potato, you still get mashed potatoes and veggies no matter what. It just felt unnecessarily rigid and poorly communicated. On top of that, we were served Diet Cokes by another server, and on the very first sip we both immediately knew it was regular Coke. When we mentioned it, our server said he "didn't think so" but would check. It was a small thing, but frustrating--especially right after being told we couldn't order what was clearly listed on the menu. Eventually, after asking again, we were brought a can of Diet Coke, which solved it, but the hesitation felt odd. 2 cans for $7.90? Not even enough ice to stay melted. Was all just annoying. When the food arrived, it looked fine. The brisket itself was good, but it wasn't the meal I wanted or ordered. Plus EXTREMELY fatty. One piece was more fat than meat. I expect some on brisket but not The Who fat cap as a piece to be served. Also, the "mixed veggies" weren't what was described (green beans and carrots), but instead squash and zucchini. Overall, nothing was terrible (maybe the mandatory squash), but the combination of an inaccurate menu, inflexible substitutions, and small service issues made the night disappointing. I don't think I'll be back, which is a shame, because this was meant to be a special birthday dinner and just didn't live up to the moment. Had my siblings been with I'm sure they would've stormed out yelling at so they are lucky they got the nice ones in the family... but, my mom deserves a refund.
