This was the second time coming here for us. The first time in the summer, the service was fine and the food was fine. We wanted classic diner breakfast and this is the closest to us, so we came again. It was...eh. The food was fine, just average diner food. What brought it down to "eh" was the service. When asked what options there were for bread, you get a somber "read the menu." And a blank stare. You have to be proactive on getting a servers attention, asking for silverware, asking for condiments, asking for anything. Don't expect anyone to check on you. My order was missing an extra paid item, so I flagged down the server to have it removed from the bill. We also ordered avocado toast with egg which was all cold, including the egg. Despite being relatively empty on a Saturday, the food took a while to get out. A couple people around us asked if their orders were forgotten. The vibe just felt like everyone was miserable to be there. Even the page of rules (you will be charged 10% for takeout, if you're under 21 you pay up front, etc.) on the first page added to the misery. For $42, I can't say I'd recommend it.

Service: young staff but very nice and attentive. Food: best hangover spot! Lots of food for a great price. I even saw some cakes as we were leaving but I was stuffed. Ambiance: this is a true diner y'all! I think there is another addition that was closed off but there were plenty of seats in the restaurant.

Bteakfast yesterday included Eggs Bennedict and coffee. All good. Parked in their spot at back.

Sigh. I work in the neighborhood and ordered them Uber eats. I work right down the street. We recently met the new owners mom as she stopped by to give us the good news that it was bought by a new owner. We'll I can tell you that even thou its under new management service is still the same. I TRIED talking to Kyle who I guess just got his ear pierced was very snooty and had the most nasty attitude that matched the food quality. When I attempted to tell them about the food and ask for the manager he rolled his eyes an walked away. Shame. I even left my number for contact and nothing. The food is a hit or miss just like before. I was hoping this place was going to be different but I was humbled to known it's not. The food quality is inconsistent on the time of day. Sigh. Wishful thinking

Amazing breakfast, call ahead and they will have your order ready, nice and hot, this place doesn't forget a single thing, even with big orders. I've been here twice already and it just continues to get better and better with each visit, I absolutely love the corn beef hash it's a must have anytime I go, the cheesy Grits are something special as well, very nice laid back feel here. Just love it.

Since recently moving here we have been on the hunt for a good weekend breakfast spot. My wife heard about Steak and Eggs and we checked it out. We had to wait a while to be seated as it was packed and the restaurant is not that big. While we were waiting we saw that they had a robot that would deliver your food to your table. When we eventually got seated, we were in an area that the robot could not go to since there was a relatively steep ramp :-( Oh well maybe next time. The girls (9 and 11) got pancakes, bacon and hash browns. My wife got the "Old Favorite" (hash browns, sausage and eggs), and I got the "Country Fried Steak and Eggs". The food service was a little slow as they mentioned that they were short staffed. Everything that we got was really good. The last time I had what I ordered was many years ago at a Diner in Houston and they called it "Chicken Fried Steak". It was really good but it was one of those dishes where you know it tasted too good to be health ;-) One of the interesting things that they had on the menu were Funnel Cake Fries...maybe next time. We had a good time until the end where it took forever to get the bill. Then they fessed-up and admitted that they accidentally combined our bill with the bill from the next table (which was a party of ~12). I had to spend some quality time with the cashier to go through the bill to highlight what was ours on the bill.....and listen to the cashier cuss-out the waiter for making the mistake. One thing to be aware of is that parking is limited. The food was really good but taking off one star for the service related issues.

The diner vibe is appealing, but the menu is broad, the food is fresh, and it's far from a greasy spoon! I've been twice, once with family and once alone. The only thing I will say is that the service can be sketchy sometimes. But, if you have kids, they have these cool robots that deliver the food to the tables, which is cool lol. My boys loved watching the robot navigate the restaurant with plates on it! I tried the salmon and eggs with home fries. The salmon steak was massive - literally 2.5 servings- I had some, and shared with two of my kids to finish. The Belgian waffle is amazing! Light, fluffy, and crisp on the outside, but the blueberry one can be a bit soggy. I think they must use frozen blueberries because there's a lot more moisture in the waffle. In any event, the kids' meals are amazing, the milkshakes are THICK and in delightful variety. The cinnamon milkshake tastes like horchata and I must say, was worth every single calorie. The hash is amazingly well seasoned and crisped and their home fries are absolutely delicious! I can't find anything that I would say is bad except perhaps the parking, but even that is doable! For a late afternoon brunch or even a weekday breakfast, this is a solid choice! The vibes, the ownership, the food, and the drinks are all excellent! Try it out.

This is the perfect place to end a night out. This is a fairly small diner; however there is outdoor seating for when the weather is nice.

As always seems to be the case, this place is run by a restaurant group, because I have yet to see a small independent establishment pull this nonsense. Food is passable albeit not great. Just note that in the name of "transparency" the prices are hiding the actual costs behind this fee. If you want to round it out to 20% with a tip, at least the fee tells you exactly how much that is. I have to assume the 10% fee is going to increased wages because that's what I82 is about. If the restaurant group is pocketing any of that balance then they are just stealing from their staff, which might explain why the staff is not upfront about the rationale for the fee.

She's funny, attentive, and gives honest food recommendations if you're undecided on the menu. She's also incredibly talented -- we watched her balance six cups of coffee to another table without using a tray! On our first visit, a Saturday morning, we ordered the blueberry pancakes (I love when the blueberries are cooked into the pancakes instead of just sprinkled on top), scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, turkey bacon, potatoes with onions, and coffee. Everything was affordable and delicious, so much so that we came back two days later. On our second visit, a Monday, we asked to be seated in April's section! She actually remembered us because we shared the potatoes the first time and she even asked if we wanted to share them again (yes, please... and she brought two small plates!). This time we had scrambled eggs, potatoes with onions, turkey sausage, turkey bacon, toast, and a biscuit. We even dropped some quarters into the tabletop jukebox for the full diner experience. I'd definitely visit again and have already recommended it to relatives who live in the area!

I do feel the salata was rather small for the price, and feel you -- the customer -- should know none these dishes do not come with rice or bread. It would be nice, I think, if this fact were written in the descriptions -- but apparently, those are AI-generated, or at least the one for the Chutney Sabz is, and it's definitely not what you get! The description says you get four things, but you only get one. Maybe I should've known that from the price, but I only figured it out later, after I'd gotten it. We were seated right away in a booth near the bar area. We were there to take advantage of a promotion, wagyu and wines event. One could order a Wagyu burger platter (3 different varieties) that came with sea salt fries. Cost would be $35 with the wine, $10 less without the wine. The burger would be paired with Orin Swift red wines (4 different kinds). The waitstaff also provided a happy hour as well as regular dinner menu for those who want options. We got the Wagyu. I ordered the bleu cheese and truffle burger with the Cabernet Sauvignon. We also added the mushroom truffle arancini appetizer from the happy hour menu. Minutes after ordering we got the complimentary bread basket. It was warm and covered by a white napkin. It included crisp flatbread, 2 pieces of onion focaccia, 2 poppyseed rolls and 2 pieces of brown bread with raisins. Bread was tender on the inside and slightly chewy on the outside, very fresh. Every type was delicious. The arancini were gold ball sized (5) and topped with Parmesan sitting on a thick rich sauce. The interior had creamy risotto and black mushroom. A great starter and not too heavy. The burgers were thick patties (cooked medium) with a perfect outside char. Inside was lightly pink and very juicy. It was topped by blue cheese, truffle, Bibb lettuce, tomato and pickles, topped by a poppyseed brioche bun. Was rich and yummy, everything went well together. Fries were crisp. My companion had the mushroom Swiss burger and enjoyed. Wine was smooth, fruity and had great depth, with no bitterness. It shone almost as much as the Wagyu. Service was excellent and gracious. Though the dining area got full it never got noisy. A great place for a romantic dinner or drinks with colleagues.
